I made my first colorization today using the tutorial on Gil's site, <a href="http://skyward-thoughts.com/" target="_blank">Skyward Thoughts.</a> I'm pretty pleased with it, as it turned out a whole lot better than I thought it would! Ooh, that's very good! I would suggest maybe putting a little more color into the skin tone. Maybe make it a bit darker or add a bit of red or brown to it.

I did another one of Orlando, and I tried to work on the skin tone a little more. Though the hardest part of this one was the lips. If I don't get them exactly right it looks like he's wearing make-up.

That looks amazing! You did much better on the skin tone this time! And, it does look like he is wearing lipstick. [so funny!] (In pirates 3, during one of the fighting scenes, I looked at Will's face, and you could tell that he was wearing lipstick. It was really funny.)

I also love the Orlando text on the side. One more thing, you may want to tone-down the teeth and tongue a little. The overall picture is pretty dark, while the teeth and tongue aren't. So, they are all like BAM!

The first one, she may be a little bright and stick out some, but I can't see anything else wrong with it.

The second one, I love the coloring of the shirt and the thing in the top right hand corner, but the skin is a little orange.

Yeah, I think I'll try a different layer mode. Maybe giving her dress a pink tinge too. And I think the problem is the orange shirt just brings out the orange in his skin. I'll keep that in mind during my next one. (Which is probably going to be another Gerry )
