He could not begin to explain the difference between his childhood and where he was now; the division was so extreme. He heard the music playing, and there were a few people on the floor, so he turned to his wife, and bowed.*

Nicole entered the Ball room at her Husband's side followed by the Stormonts. Nicole wore a pleasant smile as her and her Husband were announced. Heads looked up from across the room Nicole took out her fan and fluttered it alittle. When Michael stoped to ask for a dance Nicole curstied with a nod. she turned to Hettie and gave her a look to seem appraochable and that she would be right back. Nicole loved dancing.

The manservant at the entrance announced, "The Right Honourable The Count de Lancrate and the Right Honorable The Countess de Lancrate!" Hettie blushed, nervous that more than half the eyes in the room would in a moment be on her family. The man announced again, "The English Ambassador to Paris, The Right Honorable Viscount of Stormont, his wife ,The Right Honourable Viscountess Stormont, and his daughter, The Honourable Miss Henrietta Murray!" She glanced over at the poor man and saw that he was a bit red and short of breath. She smiled. The stupid formality of titles had always made her laugh. She followed her father and Louisa until they stopped, then gave her father a kiss on the cheek, dipped a curtsey to Louisa, and hurried over to the Comtess.

Geni walked around looking for someone she knew. She felt a tap on her shoulder and turned to be looking at a very handsome man.
"Would you be so gracious to give me this dance?" He bowed.
"Much obliged." Geni curtsied and took hold of his outstretched arms, but then she caught sight of him. Feeling a fleeting butterfly in her stomach she quickly turned back to her partner, blushing all the same.
The dancing was Geni's favorite part, she started out with the handsome man and was soon dancing with another, and another. She danced around with each man in turn, but soon she had to stop and catch her breath.
"Thank you." She curtsied to her dancing partner and hurried away hoping to find the man she had seen in the stable. When she spotted him she held her head high and walked over to him and took a drink from his plate.
"Gorgeous party, is it not?" She asked, taking a sip of her drink.

Luke turned around and almost dropped his plate. It was her!!!! His mind screamed at him, but on the outside he kept his cool and said,

"Yes, Lady, you could say that, but why ask the opionons of a servant?" He asked, smiling a little. She was beautiful. He shook the thoughts out of his head. Now he knew she was too high in royalty even for him to have a chance to ever court her.

I think a man would usually know the name of the most beautiful women in the ballroom, don't you?" Luke found himself saying, and inside he immediatly hit himself. You fool! She could have you arrested for flirting!

Luke was surprised. She didn't slap him nor call the gaurds after him. He smiled and thought of her name over and over in his head. Genevieve. Her name was beautiful. He shook his head, noticing that he was supposed to give her his name. His heart was going 20 miles a mintue as he said,

"Luke, Lady. My name is Luke, Lady Geni." He said and he bowed low, almost dropping his plate of drinks. He quickly used his other hand to settle the drinks, blushing. "I have never been graceful." He shrugged.
