I just saw this a few days ago and I liked it, I can't help it really. They could've filmed it with puppets and sp1 & 2 recycled clips and I still would've liked it. My only comment is that it was too heavy character/plot wise. Too many new characters, one to many villains and it cuts back on character development. I wanted a little bit more of an ending for Spiderman on the grand scale, the ending for Pete and MJ was good in my opinion; it would've been to much of a perfect ending if they had gotten married in my opinion.

I'd be content to go through life never seeing this movie again.
I found it a little offensive actually. I am so sick of the emo/goth = bad idea. So far from reality and SO annoying. People laughed when Peter Parker brushes his hair down in his face for the first time. "He gets all emo" they said. I am so far from finding that amusing...
And I agree with what Aerandir said earlier, a lot of the plot idea was cheesy.
The effects were cool and overall it was a good comic/action film, but I'm done with Spider-man for good.

really? i think it was the worst of the three but it was still good b/c of the special effects and action. yeah the whole hair thing was really annoying and all that.

I quite liked this film, even though I think the first two are marginally better. I agree with you about the emo hair thing - that was just plain stupid.
I did like how they did Venom and Sandman though, and finding out the true story about Ben's death. It was very touching. And the special effects were awesome, and I liked the little gags in it - eg. Peter emptying sand from his spider-boot, but it was a bit OTT. I really enjoyed James Franco as Harry/New Goblin, I think he did a better job than Tobey.

lol i totally agree. i liked him better when he was nice and saved spider-man and worked with him. it was dumb that he died. did he find out the true story behind his fathers death? i don't remember.

I believe that the butler guy told him when the butler explained how he was cleaning out the father's wound.

OH. MY. GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just saw this (finally) last night, and WOW. It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cool!!!! I LOOOOOVED The fight between Peter and Harry at the begining. That was AWESOME.
I think the only things I really, really, really, really, reallyreallyreally hated about it were these: WHAT'S WITH EMO PETER?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! CUT THE HAIR, GET RID OF THE EYELINER, AND TOSS THE BLACK CLOTHES, YOU FREAK! I DON'T CARE IF YOU'RE WEARING SYMBOITE!!!!! *cough* Now that I've worn out my 'shift' button, I'll move onto everyone's least fav. part. Harry. Why, oh why oh why did he have to die? It would have been GREAT if he had somehow pulled through, and eventually gotten to see his best friends get married or something..........
*tear*
But otherwise, it was AWESOME. Besides the let down that Venom didn't say his famous line, it was great. It could have used a little more of spidey, and less of Peter, but it was nice. But again..... GET RID OF EMO PETER!!!!!! *Cough* sorry. All of that was just SOOOO out of character for Peter Parker. Lol, I liked the french dude at the resturant. he was funny.

I've just watched Spidey 1 and 2, and now I can't wait to see 3! I thought 1 and 2 were great! I love how Peter's "normal." He's just a college kid trying to keep up with school, and job, and life in general, and save New York at the same time. lol
I really hope I can find a theater somewhere around here that's still playing 3. I don't want to wait till it comes out on DVD! lol
Btw, great sig set, SG! That's one of my favorite scenes from the 1st movie!
