Portia glared a bit to Jack and watched him closely. "Okay, one... Don't call me 'love' again. I'll 'ave ta beat you." She hissed a bit and pointed her finger against his chest. "And two... what on earth are ye talkin' about?" She asked him, seeming confused.

Listening closely to every word of Elizabeth, it hurt Will deeply to see her in such agony, at the loneliness she must be experiencing everday without him.
Clutching Elizabeth to his chest, he held her head gently, as her golden locks fell onto his shoulder, "I know....I know you want to help, Elizabeth. It is who you are....but please don't endanger your life just to be with me again." In this moment, his eyes caught those of James and it tugged at Will's emotions. Shutting his eyes, he could feel tears begin swell, but he would not show them in front of his son.

Elizabeth held her husband. She knew she had made a risky decision, but she wasn't going to back down. This was another chapter in her life and the beginning of James. Something they could share...as a family.
"I know. I'm not the best mother when it comes to decision making. It's so hard to do it alone. But we've started and we can't turn back." Elizabeth muttered, tears spilling onto her cheeks.

Will wiped Elizabeth's tears off of her face, "All right then...if it's what you want for James." He smiled re-assuring her that he was confident in her.
Pushing aside the subject matter, William put on a brightened face and hoisted James onto his shoulders. "How have you been enjoying this adventure so far, James? Do you like the ocean?"
However, as Will asked James these questions, his eyes were set toward Jack Sparrow. He did not want the curious captain to do anything stupid, especially with his family.

Gibbs walked over to Will, wanting to say his hello.
"It's good to see ye again, Will." Gibbs said, looking at James, ruffling his hair and messing it up. "Ye 'ave been missed."

Jack sighed, obviously annoyed. "Love. . .," he accentuated, "We tell 'em nothin' they need to know until it is needed for them to know."
Not caring what the reply to that would be, Jack saunted back down the stairs, saying, "Now if ye'll excuse Miss Portia, I have a Captain to be rid of." Jack glanced at Will.

"As have you, Mr. Gibbs," Will replied with a firm grin. "It has been a long time." Will's eyes showed a maturity that he had achieved within only a matter of ten years. Life and responsibility aboard the Dutchman, made one think about the delicacy of life and the small time spent in it. Will had more wisdom now than he ever did.

Gibbs grinned. "Aye, so it has." He nodded. "You 'ave become a good sailor and a bloody good pirate, Will. It's good to 'ave ye aboard..." Gibbs glanced up and saw Jack approaching. "But it looks like it won't 'ast long." He sighed. "An ever-lasting battle between Captains." He shrugged, looking back at Will. "I think I will hang back and watch, eh?" He grinned and patted Will's shoulder, and nodded his head at Elizabeth and James, then walked over to Jack and asked, "Any plans, Capt'n?"

James hugged his dad and told him about all the stuff his mother and the crew had taught him. He had many questions to ask him, but he saw Captain Jack approaching. Elizabeth placed her hands on her hips and stared at Jack.
"Battle of the Captains, eh?" She muttered. She took James from Will's arms, expecting the worse out of Jack.

Hearing Gibbs' kind words, encouraged Will all the more. Sometimes his duty at the captain of the Dutchman was difficult...being away from his family.....never able to stand on land for ten years.....sending some innocent victims to the other side....
Smiling, Will said, "Thank you, Gibbs."
Noticing that Jack was approaching, Will turned to face him, but was soon caught off guard by the gentle embrace of his son. Lovingly, Will hugged his small body to his, and placed a hand on Elizabeth's shoulder, as she confronted Jack. "Let me handle this, Elizabeth. What is it Jack?" he asked with his eyes squinting in the sun.

It agrivated William to know that Jack wanted him off the ship immediately, after he had just arrived. Plus, none of the crew, or even Jack himself, had seen Will in years. He thought that the captain would at least be somewhat grateful to be in his presence again....after everything he did for him.
Not arguing the subject matter, Will's eyes turned cold as he looked to the deck, "Yes, I know." With that, he turned away from Jack and faced his wife and son, "He's right...I must go back to my duty aboard the Dutchman."
