This is a Hermione/Malfoy story. Maybe it sounds strange, but whenever you like it or not, please leave your comment. I'd really appreciate that.
“Mudblood. Filthy little mudblood.” The words are circling through Malfoy’s head. If she would only know what he really feels for her, if she would know what is under the hard shell of the pureblood Slytherin. But she doesn’t and he knows that. She thinks he’s nothing but one of her worst enemies, just because he can’t show his feelings to her. He has thought about her since he first had seen her. But she’s a Muggle-born, he’s the son of a wizard, who is proud of his pure family, who would never allow Malfoy to fall in love or even marry someone like Hermione. He had often been sad, he has often thought of telling Hermione about his feelings, that it is his father and his friends in the Slytherin house who stand between him and her. He has often wondered how Hermione feels about him or how she would react, if she knew that he, Malfoy, a pureblood and Slytherin loves her. There are nights where he can’t go to sleep, where he has to think about his future, because he knows he wouldn’t be able to live without Hermione. There are times where he wakes up from nightmares of his father, sending him away from Hogwarts, away from Hermione or him, finding out about Malfoy’s secret love. Malfoy knows this has to be his secret forever. He isn’t so moody and angry all the time because he is a typical Slytherin, not caring about anyone but himself. He is like he is because he is in an unlucky love. He’s stuck in a love with someone who doesn’t want him; he’s in love with someone with someone he isn’t allowed to love. He’s just in love with someone he would never get. And he knows that.
Hermione looks out of the window. “You little unworthy Mudblood.” If he would only know how much this hurts me. It doesn’t only hurt me because it’s the worst you can say, but it also hurts me because it comes from you. You would laugh at me; you would find it totally freaky if you knew what I feel for you. What I am expecting? I’m a Muggle-born; you come from a wizard family. You always hated me, from the first day on you knew what I am, and you hated me just like I loved you. And I still do, even this is impossible. If I could only show you how I feel about you. But even I don’t know the right spell for this. Probably I would never know, but I always want to be in the near of you. I want to see you everyday, or I won’t survive. Nobody knows why I am so good in school, it’s not because I’m interested, but it’s because I want to show you that I want to learn more about your world. I will never be like you, and you would never accept me, no matter how good I am. I know this, and this makes me studying more. But where’s the sense in learning about you and your pureblood world when I will never be one? There are times I curse my family, just because it isn’t as pure magic as yours, which keeps me away from you. But maybe there’s a light on the horizon, maybe one day you’ll see what I feel for you and maybe you just felt the same about me, but I doubt…
