I have way too many hobbies to start with... It's hard to really replace it, because if it's on impulse like mine is then that doesn't help.

If it can help, I can ask one of my friends how she stopped cutting.

I too have hobbies, but they do not help or take away my depression. They only seem to mask it.

No, it wouldn't. If you want to take away something, you have to go right to the root of the problem. That takes courage, lots of courage, and it can hurt a lot because you would head back to all of the things you don't want to think about or talk about.

Exactually, and that is courage that I do not have. I am one who'd rather bottle it all up and not speak of it. My family gets angry at the fact I refuse to speak of my problems. Sorry but I just hold a lot of things that I just do not think most people really need to know about.

I'm exactly the same. I never used to be like that, but when I talked to one of my best friends about my depression I found from another friend that she had been freaking out and even crying because she didn't know what she could do, so from then I stopped talking to people about it.

Sad huh? My life is that bad. I could die tomorrow and no one would notice.

Yeah right. I have no bloody idea what I am here for or why I am here. You've got to be kidding, I cannot do anything. :disgust: I am worthless.

What are you good at? I am not saying you are better than everyone, but you have some talent in the area.

Very few people say I've got talent but I do not think I've gt any at all. Personally, I do think I can do anything, of course that's from people saying that I am not capable of anything.

I really hate questioning people...

But, what do they say you have talent in?

Mrs. Haldir and Bow_And_Arrow,

With the conversation about speaking out and courage earlier. You need to talk about it. I am not saying with someone right away. I can understand how you feel for there were things in my life that I liked to keep bottled up so I could feel that I was stronger. Just go in your room and talk to God about it. It works, trust me. I got rid of hate the piled up through years that way and tears that came from deaths of people very close to me.
