"You cannot run from war, the war that is about to come will plunge all of Middle Earth into darkness, there will be no rest or safety for you. Yet you can decide to take up my lords offer and join the triumphing forces for the world is weaker than it was before as where my lord has the same power.
It is your decision whether you will be some of those that will profit from this war"
Daenfol said and making a grasping expression with his hand, pulling the air towards himself.

Those who were ready to remain under her command expressed their allegiance, yet those who had not yet decided in their thoughts, remained silent.
For a moment Dalria's face expressed doubt and possible consideration of Daenfol's offer, yet she held her composure and motioned for a horse to be brought to her.
After a moment, Dalria spoke thoughtfully, "I will still ponder your offer, messenger, but I shall make no promise until I have seen the damage to our reputation close hand. To avoid fatal conflict with the Phantoms, we must make a move now, and I intend to pursue a peaceful debate with their leader. Only if that fails, will I more highly consider your offer. Join us if you will, but cause no trouble. If you in any way hinder my efforts, I shall not regret slaying you with my own blade!"

Deawen watched the Elf from the corner of her eyes. " an understanding? now why would we need that?" she asked her tone smooth and soft as if she was talking to a child. she got up to inspect the Blue roan mare making sure it was properly shod and well taken care of. Drad sat down next to the Elf carefuly he cleared his throat before speaking " don't take her to heart she just found her prey and is eager to attack but knows better than to walk the thin line with your King. if there is something she hates more than dealing with kings is losing her prey to kings. trust me you don't want to see her then...she'll cool off right now she fears that the mere mention of her Name may bring spraks between her and your King..." he said this last bit quietly, he gave a broad smile " don't try to read her too much though you might find yourself surprised, she can change faster than the sea once she realises you found her weakness she strengths that weakness but exposes another. it's a confusing lot but she's a confusing lass..." he got up quickly as Deawen returned " she's all yours" she announced her jawline relaxed slightly as she motioned to the mare. The mare was a beautiful blue roan (like Amarosa) black legs and a dark head and long mane and tail.

"Thank you," Maer said simply. "And I think you know why we need an understanding. I know that some of my kin may have reasons for black feelings against you, but I have none with you. You should have none with me." She mounted the horse and went to test out her stride.

Deawen didn't say anything as she walked to her steed and swung up in the saddle. her guards made to follow but Deawen held up a hand " i do not require a guard" she said, each guard gave worried glances.
" Our guest and I are going for a ride we shall return before dark, have reports be sent to Eston. " she commanded urging her horse to a fast gait.
(remember Morwen my horses are gaited, think of the fun you had my horses) Deawen rode out of the camp and chose a path that was smooth and open. finaly after awhile of silence Deawen turned to speak with her guest " i will not hold past events against you, I am a lady of Honor i will do everything in my power to makesure you are well taken care of while you are with us." she paused " a wise man once told me it is better to stroak a cat forward than to stroak it backwards."

(Yesh, I think a couple people vanished *twitch* Can't wait forever or we'll die.)
Without further invitation or instruction, Dalria hoisted herself atop a black steed, settling her seat in the saddle. Wordlessly, as though thoughts were merely in unison, the Sae'Athkorbrar gathered their gear and followed, mostly on foot, though six of Dalria's closer trustees rode on horseback, while a few least led pack horses.
And so it was that seven horsemen led the front of twenty-some Sae'Athkorbrar, while two seperate groups had begun a journey farther Northward. Dalria's company had taken the direction towards where their scouts had last located their opposing force. She knew it may for only a moment catch their leader off guard, but it would not be long before the Phantoms were in full alert and prepared to either slay or capture their "prey".
For once, Dalria felt uneasy, for a peaceful negotiation was never in her nature to begin with unless it was under disguise, but to go into one not knowing who will stand on the other side caused all her trained sense to scream. Her nature was to fight, to kill, to eliminate the threat or retreat and gain strength, observing various tactics before meeting the enemy in battle again. Yet here was an entirely different game which she was about to play, and only the remaining night would be the time she had to ponder her situation more deeply.

( I know Morwen will return I think she's at camp or something she'll be back)
Deawen returned from the ride in a better mood she was quiet she let her men rest in peace. she sat behind her desk filing paperwork balancing her gold for the phantoms pay. it was long in the night when her eyes refused to focus she finaly went to sleep.
it was before dawn when she woke her favorite dog licked her face waking her up even more. "aernel!' she laughed slidding the warm covers back " I see you have already had breakfast" Deawen commented glancing at the half eaten rabbit by the tent entrance Eston step through the tent flap looking like he had very important " My lady.." he stopped catching sight of the dead rabbit " your just in time for breakfast" Deawen laughed Eston gulped " no thank you, The Sae'Athkorbrar have discovered that we have discovered them..." he reported Deawen poured herself a goblet of juice " well of course they have they are not stupid I figured they would have known we would be here " she took a gulp of her juice letting Eston continue " well yes but they have... Um Split up " he said quietly fearing Deawen's wrath Deawen's eyes flickered and she laughed. Eston looked unsure " it's the oldest trick in the book Eston, they outnumber us Four to one they may know that by splitting up we are forced to either split up ourselves Or chase after one half hopeing that we chose the oe with their leader....Clever I must say....where are each half heading? " she asked Eston shifted " one is heading further into the forest and the other half is...headed this way.." Deawen frowned she had only seen this behavoir once " they want to negoitate or something like that" Deawen explained she looked thoughtful " tell our men not to attack let them come to us, I am one of honor not a reckless killer if this Darkwood wants a peace talk we shall give it go "

((thanks!))
Tallain quickly mounted his gelding when he saw Dalria mount her horse. As the Sae'Athkorbrar set out in the forest, splitting forces, he stayed close to
Dalria. He didn't consider himself to be a bodyguard, but there was the thought that if an assasin's knife happened to fly towards them, better that it hit him that their leader.
The Sae'Athkorbrar were strong, but what if something happened to Dalria? Would another take her place, or would they splinter and go their separate ways?
He pushed the thoughts aside- they wasn't any need for them.

(I'm back, I'm back! Sorry, I was in rural South Dakota for a week on a mission trip. We actually came home a day early, so here I am! I'll backtrack just a bit.)
Maer looked at Deawen and answered, "Do not worry about my needs. I require little- I suppose like a cat with very short fur; it does not matter which way you stroke it." The wrode on in silence, though Maer was amazed at the incredibly smooth but quick pace the horse was capable of maintaining. When they returned to the camp, Maer situated herself on the edge of the camp near the trees, listening just in case that the message to the King arrived faster than she expected, and her party was returning. Though she did not wish to show it, humans made her uncomfortable with their ever changing emotions.

It was not long before the dawn when a scout came to walk beside Dalria's steed, seeming to have come from no where, such was their skill in blending. Dalria however had been accustomed to such appearances and lowered her glance to the scout with a questioning expression rather than words.
"Not but two miles, Lady Dal, and we shall be upon their camp. They are calm yet prepared no doubt. I believe they expect our approach." The cloaked Sae'Athkorbrar reported swiftly and quietly.
She nodded in silence for a moment, beckoning the horse beneath her to stop as she lifted a hand, gloved in a brown leather, to signal her men to a stand still.
"We shall set a quick camp here, while two on horse will follow me to their encampment. I wish archers to be posted no farther and no closer than a mile perimeter to barricade their approach if they decide to attack. Sound the Black Horn to beckon the return of our companions headed North if any sign of attack does occur, yet no sooner! I want no false alarms, or more heads shall be taken by me than by them, I assure you! If I do not return or send word by noon's rising or if an attack is made before my exit of their camp, my order to you shall be to scatter first, then subject your selves to Daenfol's offer.... rejoin the Dark Lord."
She said the last words seriously, yet not without distaste. With a quick beckoning wave, she rode forward among the others. "Tallain, Amaran, I wish you to come with me. Daenfol, if it is in your wish to come as well, I shall accept it, yet I should have you be silent..."
These words spoken, she confided in silence with Koltor before taking the lead of ten archers, who were on foot, yet swift, able to easily keep with the three(or four, if Daenfol comes....) on horse. At a mile's distance, the archers scattered, some in trees, some hidden within shrubbery, yet each one prepared.
Dalria herself continued her ride forward towards the Phantom encampment with those few accompanying her, her jaw set tightly in uneasy determination.
