meleth_Legolas, Yep, I saw it on the 25th. I loved it and the ending (no offence). It was my favorite one of the three.

Orlando Bloom will be on the BBC's Graham Norton show this Saturday at 9:00 in the morning. Unfotunetly I do not get that channel though but I thought that I would share the news with the rest of you.

I didn't mind the ending so much....although it's not how i wanted it to end...Did anyone stay and watch after the credits???I just don't know why they ended it how they did if neither Kiera or Orlando are coming back...it just didnt make much sense to me...oh well...I still think the original is the best of the 3....

I liked some parts of AWE better than the other 2, but some parts a lot less. My personal favorite bit out of all 3 movies is the marr-i-age in the middle of the battle. And I liked the ending (after the credits); their kid's absolutely adorable.

Yea I did really enjoy the marriage in the middle of the battle and the whole kiss while time slows down thing still makes my heart flutter...and I'd be lying if I said I didn't cry when they killed will in the end..but even though it's supposed to be the last of the movies I don't think they finished everything...there are still a lot of loose ends that I think needed to be tied up...so I think they should make another but i know they are not going to and that makes me sad

It's a shame they had to end it that way. Me and my friends were thinking about the whole ten years can't step on land until then thing and in 40 years, he'll only see Elizabeth 4 times! Now that's sad! But don't worry Eru, there's been promising talk of a POTC 4 so I'm sure we'll all be satisfied when it's all over!

Yea, I heard they had been talking about it, but orlando and kiera won't come back, they both said they were done. I mean it would be kinda cool to have another PoTC but without those two I don't know because if you think about it, all 3 PoTC movie kinda surrounded around that romance. I mean not the whole thing but it was always a very big factor in everything else that went on within the movies..so if they are not coming then I don't think it will work as well...

true. It wouldn't be as good with out them. A fourth one would be good, but I wonder how much more they can put these characters through. And that is true, the whole reasons the movies started was because of the love between Will and Elizabeth. it wouldn't be the same with out Kiera and Orlando

Yea, in the matter of a couple years the characters have literally been to hell and back...plus them moving 10 years into the future with will and elizabeth makes it difficult to do a follow-up movies to that....unless they do something about little will trying to find his father or something....because I know Orlando said he might consider doing another epic later on just not anytime soon, so if they did something concerning his son....That might work...Then they could so a whole movie about him without him(Orlando) and maybe talk him into doing a 5th one or something...thoughts??

Hm...anyone ever read The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde? The reason I ask is because the main character is an exceptionally beautiful young man who gives up his soul for eternal beauty. It's actually quite a depressing story, but naturally when I thought of a pretty guy I thought of Orlando. So I was wondering if anyone else thought he'd be a good Dorian, were they to make another film out of the book. Actually, I'd be very interested in seeing if Orlando could do that character, since Dorian is quite evil by the end of the novel...

^^I've never read it but I think it would be pretty sweet if Orlando played and evil character..something a little different from his normal roles

Exactly! That's what I want! I know some of the LOTR "good character" actors can play absolutely terrible characters (like John Rhys-Davies and Ian Holm) and I want Orlando to prove himself in that field too.
