Name: Kamal Nassiri
Age: 27
Occupation: Trader
Appearance: Average height, slender. Dark skin and eyes, black hair usually covered in his turban. He has a narrow, thin face.
Personality: He acts friendly enough, often laughing and joking, but inwardly, he's very calm and calculating. He usually is most interested in what would be most profitable for him, but that doesn't mean he can't be loyal when the situation calls for it.
History: When his father died, Kamal inherited his trading business. He deals mostly in cloth, perfumes, and gems. He's one of many traders, so he has to struggle to make a good profit. With the hard times in Persia, his business has suffered.

Name: Khusrau Anushirvan
Age: 53
Occupation: Ex-soldier/Magi
Appearance: Old and bearded (grayish hair), in purple robes of the Magi.
Personality: Calm and composed. He thinks things through before he executes them.
History: Born in the pronvince of Fars among a family of Zoroastrians, he has experienced substantial persecution from the government for trying to revive the old religion of Persia. He only found this calling after many years of serving a minor Zoroastrian lord in India for many years as a soldier. He's now recognized as the most influential of the Persian Magi, though he is dirt poor.

Oh, I know, in real life 'Magi' was actually the name of a Zoroastrian 'priest'.

Name: Crukas
Age: 27
Occupation: Blacksmith
Appearance: Shaggy black hair, dark blue eyes, pale skin
Picture, if necessary: none
Personality: Um, he is cunning, loyal, stubborn at times, and is a brave sort of foolish, if you get my meaning. I will reveal his personaitly more in the RP.
History: Crukas was orphaned at age 5, and he lived on the streets until he was 9, stealing food and such to live, but nothing extra. But once, he tried to steal a dagger from a blacksmith so he could hunt and not have to steal, but the smith caught him. But, noticing Crukas talents with his hands, took him in as his apprentice instead of sending him to his death. Crukas has now become a Senior Blacksmith and has been working ever since.

Yea... Ellie has asked me to join about three of his RPs, and I faithfully promised him I would... and then didn't. So I probably should really join this one. Really.

Name: Arash Janaveh
Age: 19
Occupation: Wheelwright (maker of wheels)
Appearance: Slightly shorter than the average at 5'6", Arash has a wirey frame, belying his job as wheelwright. Quick and nimble, with a quick eye framed with his cropped short jet black hair, covered by a dirty grey turban, Arash fits into the crowd when he needs to, but his all-arms-and-legs frame lets him slip around unnoticed if need be.
He wears long robes of the same grey as his turban, and no weapon - wheelwrights rarely need to defend themselves. He has a couple of cheap golden rings on his right hand, and a sky blue ring on his left, with the symbol of the sky - a feather, etched onto the face of it.
Personality: Quiet, but very forceful when stirred, Arash was always the quiet one of the crowd, always sitting in the background and let others push on ahead. He is idealistic, one of the reasons that led him to join the group in The Sultan's Robes...
History: ... actually, I'll do that tomorrow, edit it in.

The cold, night streets of the city did not bode well for his mission; it seemed that at every step he was best by Ahriman's demons. Still, if he made it to morning, then he would be sufficiently empowered by Ormazd to begin his conversion efforts. In all of this thought he walked without thought for his direction on the desolate, labrynthine roads.

Khusrau finally came to a resting stop in front of the Sultan's Turban. He knocked on the door and entered quietly; his prescence still had the effect of hushing the room as people watched the holy man walk to the inkeeper.

Ellie, I want to join, but I can't until Wednesday (the 18th) when I'm back from Costa Rica - is that okay?
