Actualy that makes Alot of sense. I bet that that is how you play. Thanks for explaining the rules! I think that you are right about the problem that we had as well. 
PD, You are very welcome. That is a good point. Playing as Will would be really cool.  Oh great point! I am one hundred percent positive that the boys will like it better playing as the characters and Not marring them. I know this because I have a brother and getting married to a Pirates of the Caribbean character in a board game really isn't on his list of things to do.
Some stores call it Pirates' Dice? I never looked too closely at the version of it at my local stores but I thought that it read "Liar's Dice". Hmm it may say Pirates' Dice though...I have never really paid to much attention  ...I will have to look the next time that I go shopping.
Lady of Taniquetil, You're fine at explaining rules. Don't worry about it. I understand what you mean. I am glad that you win alot at that game. It's fun, aye? Now I most certainly will have to look into geting that game. Thanks for the recammendation. I actualy have never heard anyone who has played the game say if they did or did not like it. Banana, well, I got the address to the site where I got my AWE action fig info anyway. Here it is:

and if you go under "themes" there is “Pirates of the Caribbean” in there and you click on that and it'll take you to the PotC stuff... and then you go to the action figs or whatever. Hope it helps at least a little. (although none of the release dates of wave 2 or 3 on the site are for-sure dates... but I'm pretty sure they're close)
Oh yes, Drew, I love playing as Will as much as possible! (and sometimes I do play as Norrington or Barbossa) And I know most of the boys I know wouldn't want to marry any of them (except maybe Elizabeth) either!

Ooh, interactive LD? This is very interesting. And they had a blu-ray DVD player on display at Fry's a couple weeks ago that had DMC in it too...

And it doesn't surprise me that Orlando and Johnny were fun to work with.
Glad you understand it, PD and DD. I hoped it wasn't one of those things that makes perfect sense in your head but no sense to the rest of the world.
Anie, I'm certainly not regretting LotR Monopoly. But I got a big lecture from my mother and older sister about how "stupid" I was to get it. Some people just don't understand...  _________________

^ I don't regret my LotR or PotC monopolys either, Taurquende...  it's not a waste of money (although monopolys are kinda expensive) to me... you're right some people just don't understand.

he was lucky! I couldn't imagine what it would be like to work with them... although it might also be kinda a let down because you're expecting someone as sweet and loveable as the characters and it might just turn out they're not... not saying they might not be nice but they are just people too... anyway, that's still neat that he gave her something with the actors' signatures on it!  _________________ Chase a couple hearts, we could leave 'em in shreds

Wow, it's been a while since I have been here.  And for the first time, I'm not going to read through all the posts with my little @ member's. So my apologies for that.
Who has worked with Johnny?! 
Are we still on about Pirates stuff? I bought mysefl a pencil case (Ok, I'll admit it, it was bought for me, lol). But it's really neat because it's like the satchel that contained the letters of marque or something, it has a zip inside, a flap and some ties, so when it is all shut it looks really neat. I use it for storing my cross stitch things, like threads.
Yeah, I really want a POTC monopoly, but I'm hoping they'll do one for all three films. I also hoped they would do a DVD trivial pursuit like they did with LOTR, but I don't think they have so far. I know they did a DVD game, but I wanted one that would test my knowledge of the films.

They do have a PotC monopoly for all three films at our BarnsandNoble... that's the one I have but I'm pretty sure it was just released... it's called the "trilogy edition". And it's the one I specifically waited for because I wanted one with all the films in it too

Taurquende, I know what you mean about some people just not getting the Lord of the Rings/Pirates of the Caribbean craziness. I just love PotC and LotR stuff though and will continue collecting said stuff whether my extended family members approve of it or not. lol
JF, Lady of Taniquetil's uncle's fiance (I am not sure how to spell that either) worked on Pirates of the Caribbean.
Oh that pencil case sounds awesome! I am glad that you have it. I did not know that they made such a thing for Pirates oif the Caribbean...now I shall have to search for that as well. They have a Lord of the Rings trivial pursuit!? (gasp) I did not know that they made that either. Another thing to add to my I really want list. (laughs) I have played a version of trivial pursuit before though and I would love it if they made a Pirates of the Caribbean trivial pursuit. JF, awww, that's sadness! Oh, well I'm glad at least someone found something so neat! You'll just have to enjoy it for all of us. Yeah, the monopolys are always better when they have all the movies (or whatever) in them… I had a chance to get the other one with CotBP and DMC only in it for half price but I decided to pay the extra and just get one with all three. 
Drew, yeah no one would ever guess I love playing Will would they? I'm afraid it's a "sad" but true fact though. hey, just think as I guy I know I would rather marry Elizabeth than say Tia Delma!
I love collecting PotC and LotR stuff too and I will continue doing it as well … it's just so fun to expand my collection and keep an eye out for more cool stuff… although now it's kinda hard to find anything for LotR
I just searched Amazon for a PotC trivial pursuit but I came up with nothing… but if they did make such a thing probably no one in my family other than maybe my brother would ever want to play it with me! _________________ Chase a couple hearts, we could leave 'em in shreds

wo havent posted in months!
anyway thought potc 3 was a bit of a let down, if it IS the last one in the series, then the ending was left hanging a bit...
and tbh, maybe this is just me, i didnt really understand who was fighting who and what they were fighting for, it seemed a bit compllicated...

really? Well, they were basically fighting for rule of the seas... and for existence (in the pirate's case) Jack, Will, Elizabeth, Barbossa & Co. were fighting Beckett, Jones & Co.. But there were other sub-plots and such going on at the same time... I actually loved the complicated aspect of it that made you have to think about it... but that's just me anyway, hope that helped clear up some things a bit...
Oh, my goodness you guys you need to go to the Disney Store if you have one around you!!
My brother and I just came from a very nice trip to our mall and I found so much cool stuff! Our Disney Store is clearanceing it's PotC shirts and other clothes because the lady who worked there said they're releasing more PotC stuff this Sunday!! So it was all half off! Therefore I got a tank-top with only Will on it (couldn't resist, mates )and I found a new 200 piece puzzle with Will, Elizabeth and Jack on it… I'm not too big into puzzles but it was so neat I just had to get it!
The worker there also said she'd been unloading the summer and fall PotC line all day and they were getting in some pretty cool clothes with Barbossa on them, some with only Will and Elizabeth on them (I'll have to check that one out!) and of course some with Jack… she said they would be getting in new toys, purses and all sorts of other things....
Then our BarnsandNoble has a new little book in that's called something like the "Pirate's Code [s]Rules[/s] Guidelines" (I thought that was a cute title to give it ) and it's "written" by Joshamee (did I spell that right?) Gibbs! It was so cool! Almost like a scrapbook made by him about the Code! And it had "letters" from Elizabeth, Will and Jack to him in it… I loved it!!! but I didn't get it... it'll just have to wait for another day...
Also our B&N has a whole mini poster book for all the movies of the PotC trilogy... it has some very nice Will posters in it!
And so my collection expands... Anyway, I'm off to start doing my puzzle! *skips happily away humming the PotC theme* _________________ Chase a couple hearts, we could leave 'em in shreds
