"That mean's I will have to say goodbye to my new friend," Morwen said, half joking, half-serous. As strange as Parmatur was, she had grown rather attached. "Well, I'm off for some dinner, then bed. I don't suppose you will be joining me this evening?" she asked, noting how exhausted she looked.

*It was late indeed when Sen finally went to sleep. His dreams were troubled with what the days ahead could bring, though his heart was strangely calm. He woke early the next morning, to the sounds of footsteps on the stairs. It was his cousin, and he was not alone.*
Sen, this is Parmatur, the chronicler that is going with you. I'm sure you will get along quite well. I must be going; we are to see you four off soon.
*Sen nodded, and gathered his things, quitely telling Parmatur to follow him out.*

"no...I really need sleep food can wait" she said heading up the stairs to her room as soon as she hit the bed she was asleep. when she woke midra had already packed her things. she dressed silently. Midira had two elves carry Deawen's things down the stairs. Deawen was just about to head to the stables when Midira grabbed her arm " THe lady would like to see you and your companions before you leave" Dread and contempt passed over Deawen's face " will i ever be able to leave this forsaken place?" she grumbled

Morwen was able to find some fruit and some pastries to tide her over untill morning. She walked back to her quarters munching on an apple. She stopped outside her door to look at the stars and listen to the elves songs, wishing she could understand them. "Frið beinnan (Peace within)," she sighed, turning to go inside. She took one last look at the city before going to sleep. By the time she awoke, her things had been packed and her armour was laid out. She dressed and went to find Deawen and Sen. Before she could really go anywhere, Neuriel came out of nowhere and said, "The Lady of the Wood wishes to speak with you and your companions one last time. WHere you met her on your first day here." She left just as silently. Morwen still decided to look for Deawen and Sen, for the thought of facing Galadriel's stare alone again was daunting to say the least.

*As Sen was walking away from the tree that had been his home for the last few days, Parmatur spoke up.*
Oh yes, Lord Sen, the Lady would like to speak with you all before you leave. The others have no doubt been summoned by now. If you would follow me?
*Sen nodded, and began to follow Parmatur, towards the large tree where they had first met with the Lady Galadriel. He wondered what last minute instructions or warnings they would recieve, for he wanted them to be on their way.*

Deawen walked calmy up the stairs her emotions cloaked when she reached the fimilar hall where they met The lady of the wood the night before, she sighed and started to enter the hall when she noticed something out of the corner of her eye. a tree that stood by itself away fromt he others something didn't seem right about it it was fimilar and yet very diffirent Deawen decended the stairs alittle to see the tree better something seemed to be curled around the tree trunk like a huge black snake. Deawen seemed drawn to it she decended the stairs till she reached the bottom she jogged across the lawn to the tree and stopped short. it was no snake...the black mark was a charred scar starting from the base of the tree to the very first branch a 100 ft up. it was as wide as a man and as long as a dragon. who ever created this mark must have been very powerful she thought to herself in awe she reached out to touch it it felt like cold fire it seemed so fimiliar she couldn't place the mark. just as she was about to turn away Galadriels voice filled her head.
" she was shattered when she made this mark..." only one person she could possibly be talking about Deawen thought. She was afriad and trapped when she came here...so long ago She was very powerful even when she died she was strong enough to do this it was her last mark on this world." she stopped for a moment "but why did she do this?" Deawen asked aloud when she was brought here she was close to death..a storm had weakened her allowing us to overtake the Elsent. but right away she snapped out of her trance and..created that mark never before had the elves seen such a fury the earth trembled lightening form in the sky and yet the world was still and quiet.she died just after that.. the mark was made by fear not hatred you should know when an ELsent feels trapped they destroy what ever oppresses them..." she ended with a gentle note but Deawen couldn't help feeling sour. she left the tree and accended the stairs she felt sour and triumphant Deawen wildfire left a mark on the elves that would easily be forgotten the elves would never forget an ELsent's power. if she was able to do that just before she died Deawen was deterimined to be that or greater. she would embrace her fire instead of run from it.

*Sen arrived at the tree, and saw Deawen off to the side, staring at a burnt tree, unusual in Lothlorien. He realized who had caused it, and made to walk over to Deawen, but hesitated.*
We all have our shadows and scars.
*Sen muttered to himself, and continued up the stairway to where Galadriel was waiting.*

Deawen walked inside the hall still feeling the sooner she could get out of here the better things would be. Deawen stood next to Morwen she gave an encouraging grin thoughshe herself wasn't to happy about being here.

(OOC: So are we going to play rock, paper, scisors to see who Galadriel speaks to first?)
*Sen nodded to Deawen as she arrived, and stood silently, waiting for Galadriel to begin. He could tell, however, that this was not called for last minute instructions; this was something different. He glanced over at Deawen, and saw she was not happy to be here. He put an encouraging hand on her shoulder, and looked in her eyes as she turned. He broke the glance as Galadriel began...*

*shakes head * no I guess I will start it...*groans*
Deawen turned a slgith shade of pink at Sen's touch but she tried to focus on what lay ahead.
Galadriel without moving or speaking grabbed each of her guests attention.
" Morwen of the Westfolde, Deawen Dragonheart and Sen Starfire.. each of you have been through many trials and ordeals to get to where you are now... You have undertaken a task that can only be taken in your hands. Each one of you have a skill to contribute to the road ahead... But i have for you tools that may be of use to you. " she stopped gazing at each of her guests in turn.
Deawen tensed alittle at her gaze but didn't feel too threatened
" Deawen.." Galadriel called motioning for her to step forward. Deawen heistated and thought she felt Sen push her forward slightly she took a step and continued forward until she was two paces from the Elf
" Deawen dragonheart it is well known how you will not accept the hospitaity of the Elves so no gift of matieral will i give but the clearing of your name and of your Ancestress Deawen wildfire and I name you Elf friend. No longer will you be hunted by elves or by Elf Friends...." Deawen stood alittle shocked this was not expected Finaly she thawed and made a fluid bow " thank you" she said stepping backwards. she wasn't smiling on the outside years of disipline cloaked her emotions but inside she was smiling. she felt alittle light headed but she was content. she glanced over at Sen and made a small smile.

*Sen smiled back at her; he could see that this gift was worth more than she was letting on. At last, there will be peace among friends. Though his thoughts were short lived, as Galadriel began to speak to him.*
Sen Starfire, long have you been known to me, and long have you aided the free peoples of Middle Earth. Long, too, have I heard of your story, and its sorrowful beginnings. The gift I have for you is one you must accept; I cannot speak your words in this matter. You are the last of your line, and yet the first; a phoenix from the ashes indeed. In your hands, I can place only this.
*Galadriel revealed a brilliant crown, dazzling to the eyes. It was made of what looked like silver and gold, melted together in the furnace. A blazing jewel, like a barely contained fire, burned in the center. Phoenix wings swept back from it, and he could see that the crown was molded to fit his helm. Sen stepped back; it was the crown of Athenar, his city that was lost so long ago. It was the crown of the Phoenix king. Sen began to speak, though slowly.*
I... My mind is heavy with the days ahead; it cannot bear this choice as well.
*Galadriel nodded.*
Very well. I will place it in Gandalf's care, and it will be there when your mind is calm.
*Sen looked up, amazement on his face.*
You mean-
*Galadriel smiled, and handed it to Gandalf, who stood beside her.*
Yes, Sen. Gandalf will be joining you on your journey, to whatever end it may be.
*Sen nodded, and bowed, stepping back to among the others.*

(hahaha shiny!)
Deawen stiffled a laugh she was just glad she wouldn't have a constant reminder of her past.
she wasn't sure why she was laughing she just was. " my lord Sen I have seen men tremble at the very mention of your name of course you can bear this" she said softly slipping her hand in his for a breif moment.

(Yay! I'm finally back from the nothingness that is rural South Dakota!)
Lastly, Galadriel turned to Morwen. "As for you, Morwen, I have noticed that you have an affinity for enchanted rings. For this, I give you Fëalain, a ring of silent communication. I believe you will use this well." Morwen bowed and thanked tried to thank the Lady, but before whe could form any words, she heard her voice in her head:
The world is old, and you are young. You take on a heavy load for a young woman. Do not make it heavier with guilt for Frela's death. It was her choice to fight, not yours. It may not be my place, but no being would hold this mark against you. And the other worry that plagues your mind, let it rest. What you fear shal never come to pass.
Morwen said nothing but bowed low, avoiding Galadriel's smiling blue eyes. There was a single tear in her usually dry eyes.

*Galadriel then addressed all those present, looking into each person's eyes in turn.*
Today, you set out on a journey that you may not return from. Yet know this, the blessings of the elves and the hopes of all free peoples of Middle Earth go with you. In the darkest time, let that knowledge be a beacon of hope that allows you to continue no matter what evils assail you. Do not falter in your purpose; there is much that rides on your shoulders and your blades. Go, and finish the task set before you.
*Sen bowed, and nodded for the others to follow him out. Gandalf, too, took his leave from Galadriel, and went with them.*

Deawen was the last to leave she stood facing Galadriel a small smile flickered on her lips before she bowed and left the hall.
(Skiping to the camp!)
Deawen flopped on her cot with a heavy sigh she was glad to be (what she called) home. she curled up ready to go to sleep when her dog Aernel came up she jumped on the cot and curled up next to her, Deawen wrapped her arms around the dog " I missed you too" she said burying her face into the dogs thick glossy coat. Deawen knew she had a meeting to attend shortly all commanding officers had to be present in all Armies. she groaned thinking about the meeting ahead, she figured there would be atleast 20 officers most likely more but Deawen only had seven officers that had to be present. Drad had left a tray of dried fruits on a table Deawen got up and rumaged through the tray picking out her favorite fruits, she particularly liked the peaches from Bredena. Deawen began to changed into her light armor and discovered when she took off the armor she was wearing sharp pains in her sides she lifted the cotton shirt under it and found blisters and bruises she felt it hard to breathe for a second she relaxed and could breathe again, it was a sign her armor was damaged and needed repairs she tossed it aside and decided to wear a Dark red dress with gold trim she braided her hair adding gold pins as she went. it wasn't something she did often but she knew better than to put tighter armor on wounds.
she wrapped her cloak around her shoulders and walked outside into the winter. she decided to ride Bredol to the Storm camp the snow was deeper and techerous. she was forced to ride in her saddle with both legs on one side to keep the dress from riping or stretching. Deawen rode with grace and her usual dignity.
Deawen sought out Sen first.

(Can I still train what's-her-face-Frela's-daughter?)
After the long ride, Morwen was happy to be back in her nice warm tent. And solidly on the ground. She changed into a warmer cloak from her trunk and went out to see Breda, who would surely be in fine temper after such a long period of what he would consider neglect. She was sure to grab some of the sugary dried apples from the table in her room to him.
All of her guesses were completely right. Breda was sulky and moody. At least until he saw the apples. "Ic wil eow beridan se gemot (I will ride to the council on you." This seemed to cheer him, so she mounted and rode to the appointed spot (OOC: wherever that might be...)
