"Long ago it was the pride of my family. The honor. But when it was stolen, the honor left. So in order to bring honor and pride back to my family and ansestors, I must find it and bring it back to the place it originated," he explained...

Seeing a silence, Merry and Pippin looked at the other for their signaled approval. "So.." Merry ran up behind Lughir and asked, "Our whole mission is to fight to regain your family's honor, is that right?"

Her laughter ceased when she saw that Lughir was getting really angry, and she knew she could act like a little annoying girl. Alithia glanced at Merry, "Don't say anything." she said sharply.

Merry took on the advice and slowly backed up to Pippin, "These Big Folk surely seem to have problems with their family lines and such," he said.

Pippin only nodded in agreement; he did not truely wish to have either of the ladies blow up at him as they had just recently done to Merry.

Ruth Ann sighed and walked up to Merry and Pippin, "Lineage is a major thing," she explained, "the society of men has many differences than our society. What family you were born to is where your honor and heritage comes. Yes, it is like how it is in the Shire, but the same concept has been expanded to a different level. That is, more than whether or not to travel out of the city. To the society of men, taking of honor is as if someone took away your priveledge to eat seven meals a day.. down to three."
