Deawen Dressed in her light armor and her thick black cloak that had the overlaping skirt over the shoulders. SHe was silent giving soft orders instead of harsh words she wanted her men to be relaxed not tense, tense meant accidents could happen easier. she Mounted her horse only taking two body guards. she hated the feeling she felt the feeling of fear was something she only felt when opposed against impossible odds.
she knew where to find them that was not hard considering she had the best scouts avalible to her. she wore no hood nor mask to conceal her identity. She wanted them to see her as Deawen Dragonheart. was she felt afriad she wasn't sure she didn't show it years of practice and disipline prevented her from showing emotion. she stopped her horse one mile away from the camp.

(Deawen, did someone watch The Odd Couple last night? And by the way, what time of day is it in the post? And it would be incredibly helpful to know about where we are geogrphically.)

Maer could tell that something was going to happen. A tension was in the air similar to that of the previous night, so she kept her bow close and sword loose. She stayed on the edges of the camp, listening for any movement. Though it was unusual, her nerves were starting to get the best of her. She did not know what this enemy was, or even if the enemy of the Phantoms was a friend or foe. She decided to move into a tree and keep up her watch.

Tallain nudged his horse forward and rode along with Dalria and Amaran. He kept an eye out for any Phantom scouts or spies, although he was sure they were skilled and would be practically invisible in the woods.

He directed his horse a bit closer to their leader. "Dalria-" he bit his lip, then continued in a low voice, "Surely there are other options than accepting Daenfol's offer, even if we fail today. I do not wish to-" He stopped. His personal feelings had nothing to do with this.

(I believe I shall set our location on the North end of Mirkwood, near to Ered Mithrin. We have the Iron Hills to the East of us, Ered Mithrin to the North, and a branching stream of the River Running to the West and South. The witch king is in Angmar at the time....)

Dalria did not seem in a forgiven mood as she rode, her glance towards Tallain vaguely unkind though she kept her voice calm. "I do not wish the decision to be in conflict if I do not walk from this. I ask that you keep your personal views to yourself, and if it is in your wish to not subject yourself to serving the Dark Lord, then I advise that when the group scatters, take your own path and set for yourself a life where ever you wish. Speak to no other of this."

Bredol Deawen's Stallion champed at his bit and began to fight his reins Deawen sat calmly with cool temperment he was just anxious to be what he was born to be a war horse though Deawen didn't plan on fighting, though she left instructions if she should fall. The Phantoms where to carry on their mission with or without the support of the king the Phantoms did not Deawen to make them well known she only sped up the process.
Deawen waited still in her cool manner though her guards kept watching to woods as if they expected a dark creature to crash through the wood at any moment.

For a moment Tallain looked as if he was going to argue, but then he simply nodded. "Yes, Dalria." He resumed watching the woods, eyes scanning constantly.

Dalria directed a cautioned glance towards Tallain, though her pale optics were soon to catch sight of a horse and rider barely twenty paces before them after a bend in the forest path. Slowing her horse, she raised a hand, palm outward in a sign of peace, though every instinct told her to take cover or fight, for she was in her true appearance, undisguised, her identity a delicate issue in her own mind.

To her surprise, the rider before her was a woman, a leader no less! She had heard much concerning the Phantoms, but naught of their leader besides that of a fearsome sort, one who would not leave a task unfinished. Though of shorter stature than Dalria, the woman's expression seemed to tell of a well held pride and honor, a stubborn spirit, something Dalria could more easily respect. At this observation of her supposed opponent, she placed her raised hand across her chest and lowered in a bow within the saddle.

"Lady of the Phantoms, I, Dalria of the Sae'Athkorbrar, come with words, not with sword or violence, though my caution to you would be to guard your actions, for my archers are placed at ready. Should this go awry, they shall act accordingly." She spoke after a moment of glancing over the guards which came with the woman.

Deawen raised her hand as well but did not bow instead she bowed her head. " should this go awry, Neither of us would leave this spot alive." she said evenly. very few things surprised Deawen but this was an exception, This Leader was like herself in ways (a respectable trait) she admired this womans ability to think ahead. " Forgive me i have not introduced myself, I am Deawen Dragon Heart Elsent of the Phantoms, I am a being of honor, there is times for swords and times for words, and Now is a time for the latter..." Deawen said with a smile it wasn't a fake smile it was a pure smile.

(Just the two of us for now I guess *chuckles*)

Dalria nodded her head once in eager agreement of Deawen's words, seeing truth in the woman's eyes. Yet she couldn't help but still sense the tension of the situation, the reality of it causing her to be ill at ease.

"Would you do the courtesy of accepting my presence and that of my companions into your camp for a further discussion, or would you prefer we remain here were we stand, to exchange what words must be spoken?" She questioned after a moment's silence.

Deawen sat silent for a moment before answering. " I suppose that can be arranged, It feels like rain anyway " here Deawen waved off her Guards and backed her horse up alittle into a rolling turn she left enough space for Dalria to ride next to her. Deawen's guards rode ahead a surprising act of trust.
" strange isn't it? THe Sae'Athkorbrar fought with Sauron many years ago as the Phantoms fought for the easterlings....at one point in history we fought together and now here we are pitted against each other for the sake of power and control, I Have fought many people in my life mainly common rebels and pesky nobles none of them posed a threat to me and yet here you are You threaten everything I have built!" she paused
" The King (since Deawen refused to submit to saying My King) wishes the Sae'Athkorbrar to cease to exist, strange that he does not want another Ally? but you see I am in a situation, If I eliminate the Sae'Athkorbrar I will seal my own fate what is to stop Him from turning on me? "
Deawen normaly would have kept this information to herself it was a weakness but it was truth, this was her fear her world collasping around her.

Dalria lightly urged her steed to ride beside Deawen, leaving the two riders behind them. Her amber gaze focused ahead of them, perhaps more in thought than in caution, yet she still remained alert, listening to Deawen's words.

"I wish no threat to anything you have built upon the Phantoms, Deawen, yet I came into this, unknowing of your manners, aware indeed that you may slaughter us without second thought. You did not, however, and for that I must respect you," she confided likewise, though at Deawen's mention of the king wishing for the death of the Sae'Athkorbrar, her expression darkened.

"One should leave the past behind, else the past offers to save us and we take such an offer," she murmured, partially to herself, yet it was freely spoken to be heard by the ears of the one riding beside her.

"We shall leave this discussion to a more private setting, yet there is a choice each of us must take, you with the king and his orders, and I... I have the survival of the others to consider, and if we cannot be accepted by the common people, then where are we to turn?"

(I'm back! Yay!)
Amaran glanced around warily. He didn't like being in the open like this, surrounded by potential enemies. His buckskin mare was restless underneath him. She had a way of knowing when her master was uneasy, and often reflected his emotions. He calmed her down as best he could, but he was no better off than her. He was so tense...every sence was stretched, like a bow bent to breaking, and he didn't know why. Amaran glanced over to Tallain. The elf seemed calm enough. Why wasn't he?

Deawen shrugged " Something that seems lost to this world at least we have never seem to gain is Respect, Leader to leader Manners let aggression be set aside for a decent gathering" Deawen remarked
she listened intently to the part about the choices " Which orders do you think the Phantoms would jump at? the One who sends them to fight rebels, revolts, or the one who is one of them who leads them to victory and prosperity eh? But I agree more privacy is needed before we continue. " she said as they approached the Phantom Camp, Deawen's tent could be seen from the outskirts of the camp as a large black lump it was half the size of a small great hall, divided into four parts Deawen's quarters, a Meeting room, a regular welcome room and a part for dining. The tent was well furnished some gondorian but mostly articals from the sea of rhun. all phantom Tents where large , but Deawen's was fit for royalty. The Phantoms seeing Dalria stayed out of view, the phantoms got their name from their odd out of sight behavior they seemed to vanish into shadows. Deawen Dismounted at her tent entrance giving away her short stature compared to her men Deawen seemed fragile she was too thin to be a strong fighter. but whatever she lacked in physical aspects she made up for in cunning diplomacy and leadership. she entered her tent into the welcoming room.
