Brian walked away from Veronica and Bella to set up his laptop and camera. He was so going to take photos of this because no one would ever believe him. What was he kidding himself? He would never believe himself.

Kay walked behind everyone else and slowly saw that theytried to get out. Once she saw that they were back in time, her body started to shake like crazy. After awhile, she calmed down, she remembered studying about ancient Rome and the Colosseum. She looked around, seeing the cages that the animals were released in.

As everyone else tried to get out, she saw crowds of people coming in. "Guys, I think .... well..HURRY!! We are the next show! I knew I should of brought my tap dancing shoes!" said Kay

Veronica hammered on the gate. "Open up this gate!" she said shrilly. "We got here by accident!"
The guard stood and smiled. "No... you did not. You will be performing next."
Veronica spun around and faced Bella, her eyes popping. "Performing next?" she squeaked. "Looking like this? And what do we perform?"
She heard Kay and looked at her incredulously, panicking. "We're dancing? But I can't dance!"

"If someone had a gun or a sharp pointy object now that would probably be really good. From my knowledge of the Romans, they don't care who dies, they just want something to die. Emphasis on something," Brian explained to everyone as he worked with his camera to achieve good pictures of the tiger.

Veronica pulled out her camera and her cellphone. "These aren't going to work unless I try to blind them to death," she snorted. "This is just like a silly petting zoo! Can't we like... be nice to them? And not look like a threat?" She looked at them hopefully.

"We don't look like a threat. We look like lunch," Brian mocked, annoyed of Veronnica's ignorance of the situation, "and the pocket knife is about all we have right now.. so that should do."

The cage slowly went up, the lion roaring with all its might. The lion slowly walked out of the cage, watching its prey. "Well.. someone get the ipod working to get out of here! We need a distraction!"

"Oh... ohhh dear," said Veronica, hiding behind Brian. "It looks angry. I don't think I want to get eaten."
She looked at her camera that she was still clutching. "On the other hand... I don't think I've ever seen a lion out of a cage before. I think I want a picture." She focused her camera and took a picture, accidentally letting of a blinding flash. The lion roared in anger and started walking towards them. "Oops!" she said loudly and stupidly. "Y'know, that guard guy is carrying a spear... why don't we steal it!"
