Merry looked back at Pippin, "First things first. More food." He walked into the dining hall and grabbed some of the leftovers, "now that we aren't going to starve, we need to go over there and make sure we can see what is happening."

Gandalf smiled down at Frodo, "You are. Just like your uncle Bilbo, you may not know you are ready, but you are. I just may have to scratch on your door some."

Abagail held herself back. This is going to be one long meeting she thought, Going to decide the future of this world, and probably our lives while they are at it.

Elrond motioned to a seat by Aragorn for Aaron to sit down in. Then, ocne everyone had arrived, he chose to begin, "I have caught the new members up on what we already now, about this spell." Elrond continued much in the same manner as he did in the movie, telling of Sauron and the ring. After completing his speech, Elrond backed off for comments and questions.

Scott, right before Elrond began his speech, said, "Aye, I know. Besides, I already got my eye on someone anyway..." He grinned.

Aragorn awaited for Gandalf to speak before he spoke, listening hard.

Gandalf remained silent for a moment. This man appears to know much, he thought before he explained Saruman's new situation, "Yes, he is of many colors now, but he has also taken a new road. Saruman has sided with Sauron in this battle. I fear we may have to fight him before the end."

Scott caught Louy's glance and wondered what she thought of his remark earlier. He still couldn't believe he said it. He sighed and contiuned listening.

Caitlin also who sat beside Abagail also heard the question Frodo posed. "I have heard of the Dark Lord and his fell deeds. And yes, I do have some fear of him." she replied to the hobbit as she leaned forward and turned to face him. "But fear can be useful. As long it does not hinder action, it can make you more wary of a situation-which may in turn save your life." she added, her eyes softening as she noticed the burden he seemed to bear.

Boromir stood up.
"The ring is not just something of evil, it is also a gift. It had come to Isildur's hands, so it belongs to Gondor. Long have my people kept the evil at bay. Let us use this power against him," he said, stepping closer and closer to the ring.

Aaron went wide-eyed. He was about to stand up and stop Boromir, but knew what was to happen next...

Mark frowned, and turned to what was happening with the Council. He only caught half of what was said, and so didn't fully understand it.
I'll just ask the grey guy about it later, he thought, refurring to the wizard, Gandalf...

Aragorn looked unsteay, and was about to stop Boromir from touching the ring, but something held him back...he was unsure what force it was, but he stayed seated.

Scott nodded. "I feel for him, though." Scott said. "Having Denethor as a father never has a good effect on you."

Frodo smiled. "A pleasure to meet you, Lady Caitlin." He said, and then watched Boromir in awe-struck horror.

"Alright, Mr. Ego Maniac, why don't you just take the ring for yourself, and you can turn into the freaky looking guy that calls everything Precious?"

Elrond paused for a moment, as did Gandalf. They knew exactly who Abagail was talking about, but they couldn't figure out how she would know about him. Seeing Boromir gain distance in approaching the ring, Gandalf spoke in black speech, "Ash nazg durbatuluk, ash nazg gimbatul, ash nazg thrakatuluk agh burzum-ishi krimpatul."

"No one has ever utter that tongue here, Gandalf Greyham," Elrond refuted.

"I do not ask your pardon, Master Elrond, for the Black Speech of Mordor may yet be heard in every corner of the West! The Ring is altogether evil."

Abagail sat back in her chair, mentally taking notes. Once Gandalf was finished, he asked aloud, "What's that supposed to mean?"
