Mmm, yes, after reading a couple of essays on Mugglenet, I was convinced. It all seems to make sense to me.

I completely forgot about him *smacks head*. Although the only thing I don't understand about it is I thought he was one of voldemorts followers?..If so why would he sabatoge his master?

The castle that I work at rented the castle to a horde of 200 crazy HP fans to party and dine at, midnight of this book's release date... I would have gone, but the ticket is a crazy $85... I'd have to pay even though I work there. Where's the fairness in that? Anyway... *cough* [/random]
*runs off*

Has anyone gotten their copy of the Deathly Hallows yet? If you have and have started reading it, I was just curious of what you thought of it. I honestly got it this morning and I am only about 6 chapters in. (Don't worry, you may read the rest of this. I will not give any details on it. No spoilers here.) Well, I the only thing I can say is that it is nothing of what I expected it to be. And in a way, that is good.
Keep up the reading, mates. I can tell the end of this one is going to be hard to endure.

Didn't Kit say that spoilers are allowed on this thread? It's the other one that's spoiler-proof.

*shrugging* the topic says "spoiler discussion" , so I suppose it's fine...
i've been up all night reading it! I didn't get to bed until around 10 AM. So many people die in the first few chapters, I got really depressed at first.

^I agreee
SPOILERS
I thought it was really super sad when Fred dies, and then both Remus and Tonks... that really got me. Mad Eye not so much, I really liked him in GoF, but not so much in OotP, so it wasnt a huge death. Snape also got me, although, it was nice to see that he redeemed himself in Harry's eyes. But the whole Ron/Hermione and Harry/Ginny thing was sweet, and the epilouge at the end was so sweet. I loved seeing how they interacted with each other and with their kids. No doubt there are going to be a bunch of fan fics flying around about OCs marrying the kids... *sigh*
But it was really good overall, only took me 5 1/2 hours... which was nice, and now I'm going back and re-reading it, to pick up on lost things etc.

I know. They are allowed, but I didn't want to ruin it for anyone still. I was just curious of what other people thought of the book.

ooh, and I just want to say, I loved it when Molly kicked Bellatrix's butt, that was so awesome! I was so nervous that Molly was going to die, but she didn't and it was awesome to see Molly screaming at her like that. Absoloutely classic.

Yay for a non-spoilerific post!
I'm not quite done yet. Actually, I'm only on chapter 24, but boy have I been on an emotional roller coaster. I mean, people dying left and right, the Ministry over run.. it's awful. And of course their are other little things too... *pats Lupin's head* I'm so emotionally drained right now.. and I'm running out of tissues.

Omg, 52 pages already? That's insane.
MAJOR MAJOR SPOILERS FOLLOW
RIP Fred and Dobby. I knew Lupin was going to die...suspected Tonks would... but Fred and Dobby got me. I had a secret love for Dobby. Just kidding. But it was still sad.
And um, what else makes me sad...hmm...oh, I bet someone 20 bucks that Harry would die, so I think our bet is now void, because he died and then came back? But other than that, totally predictable ending in my opinion, I said from the beginning about Harry having to die, and Snape not being evil...come on.

Finished the book yesterday. So many things that happened!!
*Spoilers*
All the deaths in this book really got me. I cried a lot for Dobby and especially for Lupin and Tonks( they were my two favorite characters). The idea of them leaving a son behind...it broke my heart. Snape dying was also very sad but the memories of him and Lily were amazing. I also cried during that chapter. The book is amazing even though JKR killed almost everyone. My favorite book from the series.

I thought it was absolutely amazing. All the deaths were so sad though--I think Fred's got to me the most. And also Remus and Tonks, I love them so much. Did the epilogue kind of...ruin things for anyone? It sort of bugged me. Too cutesy.

SPOILERS
I finished yesterday afternoon and loved it. I thought she did a good job of wrapping it up. The battle at Hogwarts was absolutely amazing- I LOVED the D.A. Oh, and McGonagall was awesome. ("CHARGE!") And Mrs. Weasley vs. Bellatrix....
The deaths that got me the most were Tonks and Lupin, and then Fred. I just didn't want to belive that both Tonks and Lupin were dead right after having a baby!!

SPOILERS
Fred's death was really sad. But he sort of died like Sirius did. Laughing even at the face of death. But I feel sorry for George. It's like half of the fun is left in the world now.

SPOILERS!
Oh Vivi! When they died...I could ahrdly control myself, my eyes were still soaking wet wtih tears for Fred, but then they went as well! I just couldn't stand that! I had to put the book down just to sob! I mean, i thought it was so sad how they don't even mention how they died or antyhing. D; That really got me.
And honestly, i have NEVER ever cried so much as i did in this book.
Let's see, I cried/teary-eyed when
I thought Hagrid died,
When Doby died,
When Hermione was under the Cruciatus curse
When my Fred died
When Percy came back!
Lupin and Tonks were seen dead.
When Harry yelled at Lupin for leaving his son
When Mad-Eye died
When Snape was murdered.
Those are the times I remember now, and I'm about to go off and make some "remember Fred" banners. <3
I did think it was brilliant how George was joking around about being "holey" xD
They're amazing....charming and funny....'till the very end.
*gets teary-eyed again*
