Illyanna came in a few hours later. Shander carried what was left of his dinner with him and once she had dismounted and removed the saddle for the night he finished it off.

Illyanna settled herself against his side pulling her Navy and silver cloak around herself.

Airithnu then contiuned, in more of a whisper, "Actually, this will be like a regular life for me...you see," She told Emmeline, "my family was killed, but by what, I do not know, many years ago, when I was young. I have been alone in the woods ever since...there isn't a day that goes by I don't wish I could have done more to save them." She whispered sadly. "Maybe doing this can help me avenge them."

Peace settled itself about Firis and Meridian, soon, the Dragon had fallen asleep, and left Firis to gaze into the looming darkness that had descended over the land. The fire reflected in her blue eyes, but she wasn't watching the fire.

Her gaze had slowly drifted over to the Half-Dragon, Zero, his little speech about his mother had hit her, the giref threatened to overwhelm her as he spoke, but she contained it. She bit her lip until it bled, ignoring the small trickle of blood dribbling down her chin.

She knew sleep would not claim her this night, so she continued to watch the Half-Dragon, no question of intent was in her eyes, only curiosity and grief. This was going to be a long journey.

Adillya slowly drifted off into sleep. She had tried desperately to keep herself awake for over a half an hour, but sleep contained too strong of a hold over her. "Please come back.." she whisphered to Bry, knowing that he could definetly not hear her. Adillya hated going to sleep without him, with protection because sleep and darkness were the only things she was defenseless in, and now she was caught up with a group of strangers in both.

Adillya walked through the streets of her town with her hands inside her pockets. She saw the local bakery, a butchery, and other various stores on her passing by. Turning her attention to a local electronic store, the televsions all bagan to play the same thing. "We are all on the lookout," the announcer spoke, "for a young girl this morning. She is supposed to have the ability to kill anyone she sets her eyes on. She is dangerous, and must be terminated." The announcer stopped talking, and a picture came on the screen. Kneeling down to the lowest of the televisions, Adillya obtained a closer look. It was her.

Breathing heavily, she could hear people shouting her name in the distance as they got closer and closer. Not knowing what else to do, Adillya fled in the opposite direction. She ran down several alleyways and streets until she halted right in front of a man. He looked over at her with a domineering smile plastered on his face. The man stood next to a switch of some sorts, and, after a few moments, it went dark... everywhere.

Shaking, Adillya looked around in panic. She couldn't see anything. She couldn't see ANYTHING. Running to the side, she tried to fllee, but only ran into a wall. She pushed herself off of the wall, but could not run anywhere for someone held her grip. Trying to break free, Adillya pulled a tugged, but the person only held her tighter and tighter. Adillya tried desperately to find a light, but was unable to. She needed light. She needed to see before it was too late. Before, she thought but only let out a scream as she felt a knife dive into her.

"Ah!" Adillya woke up Her hands were trembling, and her eyes looking everywhere at unreachable speeds. She patted down her face to see that she was still alive. Looking up, she could see nothing. Gulping, Adillya froze in fear. A few moments later, she came to the realization that it wasn't cold anymore.

You had a bad dream didn't you? Bry asked and uncovered Adillya so that she could see the stars in the sky.

Stars! Light!

I am assuming that would be a yes. I told you that I would protect you.

I know.

Then, let's go back to sleep, before dawn hits.

To all those that looked, a large gryphon could be seen diving to the ground. And if those that saw the gryphon would never had known that just hours before she had been filled with rage and blood lust. The gryphon landed heavily a few feet from the fire. A man lept from her back, landing just as heavily on the ground as his mount had. Even in the dim firelight, it was easy to tell he was angry. He glared at two women who were keeping watch by the fire. "I am friend and egg protector" He growled briefly, to avoid being attacked as an intruder. The could no doubt see his boody arm, his bruised face, and ripped clothing. They could no doubt see that he limped slightly, favoring his left leg.

Airithnu was one of the people that jumped up, ready to go. But she calmed down and said, "You are injured! Is there any way I can help?" She asked the newcomer.
