Emmeline woke up feeling fully refreshed. They were going to get tehir schedules today, which made Emmeline happy. She was excited to start her studies. Getting out of her four-poster bed, Emmeline quickly dressed and hurried down to the Common Room to wait for her friends.

[Maybe..I'm not sure if we should include him or not, but possibly. Spoilers, and all that. And I myself might be adding a new character or two, just for more to have in the background.]

Purring..loud, rumbling, as if right in her ear. This was what woke Madison from a sound sleep, and opening one eye, she was unsurprised to see a, blurred furry face just a few inches from hers.

"'Ello, Binx.." she murmured, nudging the cat gently, while reaching for her glasses. Binx meowed rather pointedly and climbed off her, then scampered off the bed and returned to whatever hiding place he had come from. Now sitting up, Madison yawned and glanced to the window, then trudged out of bed, brushed out her messy hair and dressed quickly. Checking herself in the mirror compulsively, she then headed out and down the spiral staircase, down into the common room..unsurprised when she nearly ran into Aidan on the way.

"Morning." they echoed as one, heading into the common room proper to find Emmeline, seemingly waiting.

Layien rushed down after Emmeline, for she had gotten up only a few moments after her and dressed quickly. She smiled at her and said cheefully, "Morn'n!"

Shade, meanwhile, took his time getting ready, and doing so, as he walked down the stairs, ran into his friend, Falcon Krum, who was a Ravenclaw.
"Falcon!" Shade yelled as they boy rushed off towards the Great Hall. Falcon stopped and turned. He was almost as handsome as Shade, but with blond hair instead of black, and a little more cheerful. Falcon grinned and yelled, "Shade!" He ran over to Shade and embraced him, laughing. "Mate, I haven't seen you since last spring, how are you? And where is your bloody sister? I missed her as well." Shade returned the embrace and said, "She is over here, with some friends of ours. Come on, I'll introduce you!"

Layien shook her head. "No, I'm glad I awoke. I needed to get up." Then, Layien heard someone yell her name. She turned to see her grinning brother with a boy that could have been his twin, except with blond hair. Layien cried, "Falcon!" Falcon only grinned as he walked over to her and they embraced. "Miss me, did ya?" He asked Layien and Layien laughed. She turned to Emmeline. "Emmeline, this is my very good friend, Falcon Krum. Falcon, this is my other very good friend, Emmeline." Falcon smiled at Emmeline. "A pleasure to meet you, Emmeline." He said, bowing to her.

Coming to this quiet agreement, Madison and Aidan slipped past the gathered group rather subvertly, leaving them to talk without listening in..for once.

Layien saw Aiden and Madison leave. She was about to stop them, but instead stopped herself. She would talk to them at the Quidditch pitch.

"Ah, the joys of being back in school again.."

"Don't remind me."

Smirking at her brother's dark mood, Madison lightly shoved his shoulder. "Lighten up, Aid."

"Yeah, lighten up!"

Turning, Madison laughed at the sight that greeted her. "Nice timing, guys."

Standing about five yards away was Jacob and Aaron, both looking as if they'd taken the greatest care getting ready that morning..Prefect badges gleaming brightly on their chests as if highly polished.

"You almost look related." Madison observed jokingly, 'shielding' her glasses with her hand as if catching a glare from their badges.

"Haha, very funny." Jacob muttered, with a sideways glance at Aaron, who smiled calmly.

"I see you didn't forget your badge."

Glancing down at her robes, Madison pulled a face upon looking at her Quidditch Captain's badge, which she gave a prompt 'light' polish with the sleeve of her robe. "I'm supposed to wear it, aren't I?"

"Not all the time." broke in Aidan with a wry grin, folding his arms and narrowly avoiding another shove. "Like you did at home. Every day."

"I think Uncle Fred and Uncle George finally rubbed off on you."

"Is that a bad thing?"

Falcon nodded. "Great one. I got to go with my da to a Quidditch match down in Ireland! I've never been to Ireland before, so it was very fun. What about yours?" Falcon said, grinning. Shade stood inbetween Layien and Falcon and he watched Layien blush and he grinned. He knew about his twins crush on the Prefect, and Shade approved, though he never told Layien this. Jacob was a nice chap, in Shade's opionon. He turned his head back to the conrasation that Emmeline and his best friend was having.
