((Yay! *hugs Elenya* Glad to have you back! Now where were we...))

As soon as the second Troll entered the clearing, Handion's dagger was put to use once again. Aramel aimed as best she could with the fussing baby squirming in her arms and instead of the dagger piercing the Troll's throat, it hit the center of his chest where its armor was weak.

Afterwards Aramel realized that it might have not been a very good idea, for the giant cave troll was simply made angrier, swinging his mace around and not caring if he was taking out some goblins in the process.

((wlecome back, Elenya!))

For the third and last time, Handion come out of his dissiness and looked around him. Aling was fighting a group of goblins across the campsite, while another man was helping the three young Elves fight the cavetroll. Handion tried to move but couldn't. He cursed softly in Sindarin as he tried to slip his legs out from the tree branch, but he could not. His legs felt slick, and he thought he might but from his own blood, but not that slick. He felt terrible and helpless as everyone around him fought, he and did nothing.

Dalria yelped as she was kicked by a goblin before being able to stand, but it only infuriated her further and she whipped around, sword in hand, coming from a crouched position to an upright in a matter of seconds, the force of her weight and motion allowing her sword to decapitate the goblin. Her amber eyes narrow as the troll inured by Mithain and Tolur headed towards another of the company, whose back was turned. With another dive, she rolled, picking up an abandoned barbed sword, and came to stand just behind Aling. She flung the sword into the neck of the troll, raising her own sword and bracing herself against the blow as the troll stumbles into her blade, crushing her into the ground.

Tolur half carried, half pulled Mithain closer to Aramel, setting her fully on her feet beside her sister. “Take this and aim for the mouth!” He instructed Mithain, handing over his bow and a few arrows, while in the meantime he dove below the swinging mace, raising his sword in order to catch the chain, which wraps tightly around the blade. Though the mace is tangled and disabled, the troll still throws it with Tolur’s sword, which goes flying from the Gondorian’s hands, leaving him without a weapon.

Aling turned as Dalria stood up behind him, then jumped back as the troll toppled to the ground. Fighting back goblins, he forced his way to the troll's body and leaned down, half-shoving, half-lifting it off the woman.

Mithain took the bow and hesitantly put an arrow to the string. Aim for the mouth. Trying to still her shaking hands, she aimed and fired. Her first shot missed, just nicking a troll's shoulder. The next was better, even though she still missed the mouth.

"Just stay calm!" Handion yelled over at Mithain, unable to move at all. He tried to help her, to give her any adivce he could think of at the moment, knowing she must be nervous. He watched her back, looking for orcs or trolls or goblins.

((Who votes we wrap up the battle soon? :hiya: ))

Aramel smiled as she saw how well Mithian was doing; even after trying and failing she never quit. There were maybe 50 goblins left and one persistant Troll. Half of the goblins pulled out their bows and began firing a barrage of arrows, one hitting Aramel in the arm and just missing Eldarin's head. Luckily her thick tunic had slowed the impact, causing the arrow to sink in less further, but it was still lodged in there nonetheless.

A sudden pain shot through her arm causing her to drop her sword and cry out. She hoped the arrow wasn't poisoned...

(I vote as well!)

“Thank you…” Dalria gasped her appreciation to Aling as she rolled out from under the troll, grasping her strained sword arm with her opposite hand, still holding the black bladed sword firmly, not wishing to leave her blade with the dead creature. The crushing impact, however, impaired her ability to use her weapon properly, so she relied on her left hand and a dagger to assist in killing the remaining goblins,

Meanwhile, Tolur had managed to retrieve his sword, and as the troll fell to Mithain’s bowmanship, he hacked away at the neck until it ceased to breathe. Glancing around, he noticed a few of the goblins fleeing. “Shoot them as they run, lest they regroup and return!” He instructed quickly, while he himself threw a small knife into the neck of one near him.

Handion cursed quietly again and tried to get out from under the tree once again, but as he pulled, he felt a terrible sharp pain shoot through his already throbbing left leg, and he gritted his teeth so he wouldn't yell or anything along those lines. His left leg then grew warm and he knew now that the tree was crushing his leg and he just drew blood. But he was not so mad about the injuries he had recieved, but in the fact that he couldn't move, yet he couldn't call anyone to help them, because then they couldn't fight. He simply would have to wait.

He hated waiting.

((Votes too! lol))

"Don't mention it." Aling said to Dalria. He looked up to find the remaining goblins fleeing, falling prey to arrows. He quickly located the three siblings, then saw Handion, pinned underneath a tree limb.

He started to run over, then nearly fell as the wound in his leg started to throb. Gritting his teeth, he made his way to his friend. "How did you manage this?" he asked lightly, trying to hide his worry. "If I lift the branch, can you pull yourself out?"

((Battle is over and on we go... maybe some resting now ;-) ))

As the goblins fled, Aramel came over to Mithain and passed Eldarin into the arms of her sister. "Please take your brother, Mithain."

The arrow was still lodged in Aramel's arm as she returned to the dying fire. There was blood everywhere, some of it her own. Two dead trolls lay before them - the birds were going to have a feast. She wanted to head over to Handion, but she couldn't; not until the sharp arrow was out of her arm.

On the count of three she pulled and threw the arrow to the ground. Pain washed over her as more blood spilled out of the open wound and from some already bleeding cuts. Aramel suddenly felt weak and collapsed from pain and tiredness.

((Okay, I'm just going to sit back on the sidelines for a while until she decides to wake up. ;-) ))

Setting her sword in its sheathe, Dalria’s right arm remained loosely held by her side, pretty much unusable, yet she followed Aling and used her good arm to assist him with lifting the branch from his friend’s leg. “On the count of three…?” she asked, glancing to Aling, then to Handion.

Tolur surveyed the damage after retrieving his bow from Mithain in order to allow the girl to hold her brother. He slung the bow over his shoulder after being sure all was set in place, and he then proceeded in cleaning his blade, well bloodied with black of the goblins and trolls.

Handion grinned at Aling and said, "I will tell you when I get out of here." He said, and nodded to his question, and when Handion heard and felt the branches being lifted off of him, he pulled himself out and swumg his legs around him, so he was now sitting up. He smiled back at Aling and Dalria. "I thank you both and I am enterily grateful. Being stuck under that stupid thing was not fun." He told them, and then he started looking down at the back of his leg. His pants were ripped right at the back of his knee and it had been cut open, but just missed a major artery. "Eru saved me." Handion whispered, surveying the damage.

Aling smiled in relief as his friend made it out from under the branch. "Thank you." He nodded to Dalria, then knelt beside Handion. "It looks bad- it'll need to be washed and bound."

Mithain gratefully handed the bow back to Tolur and hugged Eldarin tightly. Moving back over the the fire, picking her way through goblin bodies, she saw Aramel laying beside it. Panic seized the younger girl for a moment, until she realized her sister was just sleeping. Suddenly, weariness overcame her, too, and she lay down on a small patch of grass, holding her brother.
