@ Eve: Yeah, we all had a day of worshipping and drooling over David's hair in this club! XD XD XD It was tons of fun! Lots of swooning over lusturous Scottish locks. ;)

I have to say, Martha wasn't exactly my favourite. :P But, I got used to her. Although, when "handsome Jack" showed up...I pretty much ignored her. XD Not intentionally...it's just...Jack and the Doctor PWNS! And is so totally hot.

@ Nauriel: Ohhh yeah....I forogt about the Judoon.
XD "Judoon platoon upon the moon!" XD XD XD
The Doctor's a poet! ;)
But, OH MY GOD! I've found someone who likes Donna too!!!!!!!!!!
*SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*
She may have been a bit...odd..."ood" *hysterical laughter*
But, I think she was awesome.

Which is why I think you're going to love next season, Nauriel...;)

Of course! I love Donna! She wouldn't be afraid to give the Doctor a piece of her mind, and tell him when she disagreed. I think that all of his other companions (Meaning Rose, and by what I've seen, Martha) have been a bit "Oh, Doctor, you're so perfect. Lets do whatever you want. You're the boss." I don't disagree with that first statment though. He is infact perfect in every hot, swoony way. I think it would be good for him if he didn't always get his way in this way.

^ i don't think rose was like that at all. i've been watching the christopher eccleston series again, and she certainly doesn't just agree with him all the time - she often challenges him or does her own thing. i mean, she argues with him about allowing the gelth to use human corpses in the unquiet dead, and she doesn't back down (the doctor only get his way because gwynneth agrees with him); she convinces him not to kill the dalek in dalek; she gets the TARDIS key in the aliens of london because she tells him not to go running off; she clearly disobeys him in the parting of the ways...i would go on but i'm too sleepy to think of any more examples.

Yeah...I guess you're right. I just like Donna better because of the volume with wich she would argue. That would (and will) be fun.

Does any one have a good picture of the Doctor's bare feet, from the ep. Smith and Jones? I'm making another Doctor Who banner, and I really need a good picture of his feet.

Ever so sorry bout that brief hiatus, I've got about two pages to catch up on now!
Firstly, Welcome Eve and Elwing, I didn't know you two were Whovians! You're advised to wear earmuffs in this club if you don't want to deafened by Nauriel and Montana's unrelentless squeeing but I guess you've figured that out already :)

Lamenter, you're using my old banner! I love it when people use my stuff, makes me go all warm and fuzzly

Quote:
James Marsters was on Doctor Who? Who does he play? I only know him from my friend's fan-girlliness when he played Spike on Buffy. He has ginormous cheekbones! He could slice someone's neck open with them!

She didn't squee without good reason, Spike was my favourite character on Buffy :) He uses "the Doctor" as a codename once cos his character is british, so that moment made me go hoplessly fangirly. And they are quite huge aren't they? Remind me of Owen of Torchwood's collar bones- you could cut diamonds on them!

Donna I'm a bit iffy about. I HATE all comedians ( cept Hugh Laurie, I'm a serious House addict) and Catherine Tate is one fo the worst of the lot, but I didn't mind her that much in the Runaway Bride. I hope she'll grow on me. And we have Kylie Minougue for this year's christmas special so I don't know what to expect from that...

I took a look for you Nauriel, but I couldn't find any barefoot on the moon pics- Sorry! :guilty:

Us? Squeeing? Nah! :P Okay, so maybe we squee a little

Don't feel guilty! You looked, and that's the best you can do. I'll just have to keep looking. Oh jeese, if I find that pic, the banner I'll make will be smokin hot.

I saw Gridlock yesterday. The Doctor should be forced to carry around a kitten. That was so adorable.

My favorite part was when the Doctor was yelling that the kidnappers as the took Martha. Dang, that was hot. (I am so not squeeing) Squeee!

I'm still waiting for the TARDIS torture episode. That'll be some great stuff.

Bump!

Please don't let this thread die! Its my favorite, andnow that I'm waching season three...I need to talk to people about it or i'll burst!

I saw the episode "gridlock" that was some good stuff.

Wait. I just talked about that in the previous post.

I'm on vacation, so I'm going to miss two Doctor Who episodes. I have them TiVoed, but it will still be hard to go that long without seeing Doctor Who.

Sorry! I haven't been online much, been in a bad mood and didn't want to take it out on everyone on here. But I'm ready to talk now :) Is TiVo one of those cable boxes that records stuff? I don't think we have them here. You enjoying series 3?

News on the series 4 front, it's from the Sun and Loose Women, which are not exactly the most reliable of sources, but I do hope it's true. Apparently, when Tennant and Rusty leave after Series 4, Steven Moffat (the guy who wrote Blink and the Empty Child) will be taking up the role of head writer and James Nesbitt will be the 11th Doctor. I don't want DT to leave, but James Nesbitt is a brilliant actor and is absolutley perfect for the role. And I think we can all agree that Steven Moffat is ledgendary!

Ive been meaning to write in this thread recently but I just have not had the time to. SORRY! I MISS this thread! And especially since my fellow Americans are finally getting to see it as well...I want to discuss it with them as well!!

Ha ha ha! Who says we "SQUEE" unrelentlessly?! ;)
It's mandatory says I!
*SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*

ESPECIALLY considering the Doctor with that damn kitten!! I quite honestly think that he should have hijacked one. Maybe one will show up in the new season. Because, he honestly needs one. And he could keep it perpetually young or something...or maybe not.
Wait--I've just had a brilliant idea. Well, it would have been had a certain character not...ermm...kicked the bucket at the end of the season.
But, this is my idea of the ultimate TARDIS crew = the Doctor (obviously), Jack, Mr. Saxon and a kitten. :swoon:

Okay...enough thinking about that...because I'm not sure I'm going to be able to continue writing...I'm a bit...ehhh...distracted at the thought of that TARDIS crew...

...
...
...

*cough*
Okay...back on track here....Well, I hope you get to watch your season 3 episodes soon, Nauriel! I'm rather depressed that I've got no tele to go to to watch it. *sigh* Even though I've seen it...but I WOULD like to see it on an actual tele screen. XD

@Kess: Aww...poor Kess in a bad mood!
TiVo is one of the cable box thingies that records stuff. I've no idea how they work though. XD Considering that I don't have one...;)

WOW. That Series 4 new is...fascinating. It'll most definately be sad to see them go...*siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh* And who is James Nesbitt? That name sounds SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO familiar. Hmmmm.....but Steven Moffat basically PWNS.

OH! And Miss Kess DAHLILN'...I just LOOOVE the new sig set! *SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*
*cough*

YAY!!!

:bounce:

Now I'm really hyper again!! :bounce: Man, somehow this club always gets me like that! XD XD XD

Since The Lamenter is such a lazy coward, he asked me to post the sonnet he wrote. Ignore any spelling mistakes and/or errors, they are his, not mine.

Like the storm that burns at the heart of a star,
Are the eyes of this man, much travelled,
But sorrow and lonliness his looks doth mar,
At whose words the fabric of time is unreavvled.

Ah Gallifrey! Great citadel of light
The vortex shining in portals like a raging fire,
Now there is no more, To see of Gallifrey the bright,
Burned in the war, to make my peoples furneral pyre.#

And last of this race, the Lords of Time,
Nigh immmortal am I, yet I choose a trusty friend,
From the race of mortals, who lack years as long as mine,
And keep me company as round the universe I wend.

And as for my name, well it wouldnt really matter,
But in case you ever see me, call me the Doctor.

well, I may as well do this myself, and correct my errors, so here it is with the faults carved out

(Its so lonely here! I'll talk to myself, I guess)

I just saw "Daleks in Manhatten" and "Evolution of the Daleks" Very good. Very good.

The Doctor always mentions that in the time war, both the TImelords and the Daleks were wiped out. Looking back on these previous seasons, I'd have to say the Time Lords got thier butts wooped, considering there always seems to be a Dalek or two around.

Laslo the pig slave was one sexy critter!

If there was one roll I could have played in that episode, it would have been the roll of the lightning rod. Wow...

Mmmm...the Dalek episodes! I found them to be quite interesting. I can't quite remember it that much. OH, but what was that line, with Frankie or whatever....something about a kiss or a hug...BRILLIANT line that I thought was totally Jack/Doctor oriented. XD

OH man, I love you Nauriel! For saying everything that we want to say! Being the lightning rod would just have to be the greatest thing EVER!
:swoon:
I LOOOVED that bit. XD
I bet that lightening rod had a good time shooting that. ;)

*SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*

TARDIS torture episode.....mmmmm....I think you'll like it.
