Obi-wan nodded to Reia. 'He is being obnoxious bit things will be okay.' Trying to reasure her. Then looked over at Anakin. When some one bumped the table and Anakin asked too. He wanted to chuckle but he kept quiet.

Jena tried her bast to keep from laughing. But she was able to maintain her giggles to low pitch.
"Great meal Padme." Jena said smiling.
Then she started to giggle very quietly again till she stopped.

Reia sighed and looked down at her plate. She scooped up a piece of fruit and tasted it - it was tarty and sweet, better than she had expected. So, when someone called her, she jerked her head up, startled.

Anakin faked a smile and shook his head, "Come on, one of you had to do it. I know perfectly well, I didn't just knock my plate off the table......" He studdered," for the fun of it." He scratched the back of his head nervously.

Padme couldn't help but let out a few small giggles. She turned to Jena. "Thank you." Then continued on containing herself.

Reiascooped a bit more of fruit into her mouth. Her jaw protrueded a bit, so that her bottom teeth were now in front of her top teeth (yes, lips closed,) for she did not exactly approve of Anakin's flirting. She was a somewhat "by-the-book" Jedi, somewhat like Obi-Wan, which was probably why Anakin disliked her so much: she reminded him of his master.
"Great meal Padmè." Jena said smiling.
"Thank you," said Padmè.
"I agree," added Reia, smiling and finally showing signs of life. "I love food from Naboo as it is, but this is really exquisite."

He stopped scartching the back of his neck and quickly started talking over Reia, "I also agree Padme, this is a well done meal. I haven't eaten something this good since my mother's meals." He started to stare at her, with that strange look again.

Reia scowled at Anakin as he cut her off, and stabbed her salad with her fork again. It would have been a pleasant evening, if he would act civilly with her, not as if she were Gardola the Hutt herself. She had half a mind to storm out of the room that instant, saying she had to look something up in the Archives, but stood out of respect for Padmè and friendship with Eljaraj.

The tension between Reia and Anakin was going a bit to far. She looked over at Reia and raised an eyebrow. "Well, I am glad you all like it." She gave a small smile. The lights came on as the sun began to fade which is what had first been lighting the room. Padme slightly turned to look at Anakin as she felt his stare.

"I have to do something in the Archives," said Reia, putting down her fork and standing. She walked to the door, looked back at Padmè and said, "I'm sorry," and the truth of it shone in her eyes for a moment. She exited the room, boarded her speeder and took off. She couldn't believe the look Padmè had given her when she had tried to be silent the whole time. If she had not, she probably would have had an argument with Anakin. Her eyes stung with anger, but she pushed it aside.

Anakin smiled as Padme, turned to look at him. His smile then faded as Reia stood, said what she had to say and left. After she went out of the room, Anakin's eyebrows rose up to a confused expression. He looked at Obi-Wan across the table and said, "Going to do something in the archives?"

Padme looked down for a second as Reia left. Now her friend was angry with her. First an assasination, now one of her best friends was mad at her. She quickly finished her meal. Now, to wait till Eljaraj and Jena left then she could go to bed. Sleep sounded wonderful. In dream, you can forget your troubles. And at the moment, the senator had a lot of them.

Anakin noticed Padme put her head down. He slowly turned toward her, feeling her troubles, "Padme, something wrong?" He reached out to grab her hand.

Reia stepped into the room, drew her saber, and began slashing, kicking, spinning her saber...she tried not to let her slightly aggressive nature turn to anger. After a while, she heard the door open behind her.

Padme looked up. "Oh, it's nothing. I'm fine." She glanced around. Everyone seemed finished and tired too. When Jena and Eljaraj finished, they stood to leave. Padme escorted them to the door and bid them goodnight. She leaned against the door and sighed.
