call me Ven easier on the hand
I like the dark side though, the Anzati kind of dabble in the dark side, but not too far, so my character is, while not the kind of pleasantly annoying jedi who wants to go with the force, kind of in the gray area, which would be why he was not given mastership
when're we starting?

(Srry for double post but I'll just start now. Yeah and reread rule #2... I changed for you guys)
Tiln kept his black cloak tight around his white inner clothes. While the others were ahead of him he lagged behind not wanting to involve himself. The main hall that led to each of their personal starfighters seemed longer than normal... all Tiln wanted to do was jump in his ship. The Jedi Council knew he didn't like groups... he wasn't outgoing... but despite that Obi-wan and Anakin assured him he'd be fine............. all he wanted was to get to his ship.
(do you guys want separate ships or one big carrier that we all share? It's up to you. I you want the all together one I can make it that they don't give us are ships when we get to the docks... we just find that big ship.)

OOC: I'd be okay with either course of action, although I know more about single-pilot starfighters than multi-pilot ones. But truely, it doesn't matter to me.
IC: Dol was at the front of the group, not because he was the only Master, but simply because he was walking the fastest out of the group. Russan, what did he know about Russan. Nothing, that's what, except for the name. Dol wished he had the time to read up on Russan geography and culture, among other things. He'd just have to have the information transfered to his Delta 7 before they left and read up on Russan in hyperspace.
Or...he could just ask his fellow Jedi if they knew anything about Russan. "Do any of you know anything at all about Russan?" he asked without turning around.

(alrigh.... I'll probably just do the all together one. Don't worry though... it will look nice!)
Tiln heard one of the others ask about Russan... he knew a lot about it but he didn't want to say anything. Why should he? He didn't know... that much. Well, maybe he did.... he pulled his cloak tighter.

Cyril had gone over what little he could find out about the planet.
Asside from the details of the battle of Ruusan he had found little else.
"Ruusan is where the (Battle of Ruusan) occurred in 1,000 BBY. Ruusan was a temperate, pleasant world, inhabited by both humans and a strange sentient species known as Bouncers.
During the battle between the Jedi commanded by Lord Hoth, and the Sith commanded by Lord Kaan, much of the planet's surface, including several cities, were destroyed.
After the battle had ended, a Jedi Knight named Johun Othone constructed a grand memorial to the fallen warriors called the Valley of the Jedi. It was said to harbour the spirits of the soldiers who fell. Despite this, the world was quickly forgotten, as the Galactic Republic turned inwards."
Cyril repeated the information he though might be usefull.

(sure! just post your bio and to join just run to the group and say you were late!)
Tiln looked at Cyril... amazed that she knew all of that. He had known that because he had done a report on it to show the council he could use the holobooks. But he decided to jump in the conversatoin... now was better a time than later! "Yes, Cryril... I'm suprised you know all that. Well I didn't think that you DIDN'T know it..." On second thought maybe he should just run to his ship and close the cockpit glassteel and hide away from them.

k, here goes *modifies old charrie*
Name: Valera Solusar, Jedi Knight
Homeworld: Coruscant
Species: Human
Age: 22
Appearance: Short, wiry, combat fit. Long gold-blonde hair, purple eyes.
Dress: Jedi robes when in the field, but, being a city girl, prefers a violet unitard and black leather surcoat when training. Field boots and standard utility belt at all times.
Weapons: Light sabers and starfighters are fine, but Val's collection of hidden knives is preferable. Light saber blade: white - either colorless or all colors.
Skills: Proficient with the Force, but realizes that too many Jedi use it as crutch. Specializes in unarmed combat and Escrime (the art of the blade). Noted skill in reconnaisance.
Personality: Highly individualistic, but understands the value of teamwork. Tenacious, determined, slightly workaholic, but tends to be cynical.
History: Val was born on Coruscant to Lord Vectmer Solusar (vaguely related to another line of Jedi as well) of Melbar, a highly influential trading world. At the age of four, she was noticed to be Force-sensitive, and brought to the Jedi Temple to train. She doesn't like to flout her heritage, but realizes that it can be used as political leverage, if needed. Hence, her friends usually call her "Lady Valera" or "Lady Val" when they wish to be especially irritating.
IC:
"Well, that's nice to know." Valera Solusar joined the little group from a side corridor, matching their quick pace. She identified the Jedi Master Dol and tossed a datapad to him. "My marching orders," she explained, throwing a mock half-salute. "I hear it's a search and destroy?" Her favorite. Clear goals, no questions.

OOC: Just one thing, Jax, we wouldn't be using BBY as the battle of Yavin hasn't happened... Although I'm not sure what we would use, then...let me check. But, of course, there isn't another time designation, so never mind this entire comment, I'm a stupid idiot.
IC: Dol nodded his thanks to Cyril, "I knew I heard the name before. Also, I believe that was where Darth Bane started the 'Rule of Two' idea for the Sith."
The Kel Dor turned and caught the datapad that Valera Solusar (would the 'other line of Jedi' be Kam Solusar's of the NJO (or thereabouts) time?) and quickly scrolled through it.
" I hear it's a search and destroy?" came the question from the female Jedi.
"Yes, the hard part is going to be the searching for what were supposed to be destroying," Dol entered the hanger and, instead of each of them having their own personal fighter (as was normal), there was one large ship. (I'll let you describe it and all that, hobobagins09.)

(Yes, very vaguely. Vaguely also to Ranik Solusar, who would be contemporary to this RP)
Val stared at the single transport for a few seconds, disappointment clearly written across her features. Well, it would be a little more comfortable than sitting in a cramped cockpit for Force knew how long.
She walked up the safety-treaded ramp of the vessel and slung her equipment pack into a locker. "As I recall," she said conversationally, as the others stowed their gear and arranged themselves about the interior, "Ruusan is one of the best sources for lightsaber crystals, besides Ilum." The Jedi dug around for anything else she could remember. "I think it features the forest/canyon/lake environs, in terms of scenery, and has a 23-hour long day. The year is something like 320 days. Oh - and they're pretty isolated, so there's been a blasted lot of inbreeding. Think weird genetic tendancies, so I'd caution against getting married there, if any of you were thinking about it." One corner of her mouth curved up in a cynical grin. She knew full well the views of the Jedi Council on that subject.

Tiln felt a little more comfortable with another human jedi joining. He also felt more comfortable with her cracking jokes all the time. Maybe this wouldn't be that bad after all. Until he saw the shuttle. It wasn't bad looking... in fact the entire ship was a fine black stealth vessel. But why would they need a stealth ship to get to Russan? Pushing it out of his mind he followed Val up the ramp. "Hey," he said nugding her shoulder, "You never know." he let a smile slip on his face and began looking around for the room that was his.

(Sorry all for not posting I have been really sick so not ben able to get on. I'll try and catch up here. And The~Doctor your right, they would not have used BBY.... But I am not sure either what they would have used. *shrugs*)
"I do my homework." Cyril answered as a few of the others seemed a little surprised he knew so much about the planet. "I didn't find much about Darth Bane though, other than what you mentioned Dol. Although I'm told he is a distant relative of mine... however disconcerting that may be."
Cyril walked up the loading ramp into the ship, looking around at it's smooth interior. It was nice, a little small on the inside but he liked it.
