Question.
Honest reply please!
When Harry describes seeing Tonks and Lupin lying there... dead, obviously---do you picture Tonks with her original pink hair or her natural hair? We don't know a lot of details on Metamorphmagus but what do you think happens when they die?

Hey.  I was wondering if I could join in here. 
Lupin is probably my favourite HP charrie, if I had to pick one.  Closely followed by Tonks who I thought was ace in the books. I'm not a HP movie fan, I've seen them all and hate them all.  *Waits to be killed* And I was pretty disappointed with movie Lupin and Tonks.  But I love the books, which is what matters, right?
In reply to Kit's question, I'd have thought that her hair would have gone back to normal colour. *Ponders* When I pictured her, I always pictured the bubble-gum pink hair (it was totally purple in the film.  ) but thinking about it more, I guess I'd have thought her hair would have gone back to her natural colour as it seems that they have to...control their talents, so you'd have thought that it'd go back to how it originally was. But I don't know to be honest. Tis a good, typically-Kit question.

Nonsense---Vivi would gladly accept ye.
Actually, I like movie Tonks and Lupin, they're not as I imagined it of course, but I still like the movie interpretation of them. Lupin, specifically, I could fall in love with David Thewlis, over and over and over and over again. Mind you, I do love them more in the books, since they are of course canon---[grins].
Hmmm, two people (in response to my question) have said that it would've stayed the color she had when she died----and now we have one that says it would turn back to its natural color. We don't know in much detail how much control or knowledge there is to Metamorphmagi. We don't know whether or not metamorphmagus have a TRUE natural look, or if they just choose the look that they feel is TRUE to them.

Haha, that's true. I'm looking forward to the encyclopaedia thing she's going to do.  I'm no doubt going to spend a good while pouring over that in great detail when she writes, completes and publishes it. _________________

Oh I sincerely hope there's a lot more detail on Lupin and Tonks (in regards to metamorphmagi that is), I REALLY want to know about Lupin's background, his parents, Greyback, etc.

Yes, yes, I quite agree. That'd be really good. Sometimes that are described in such little detail are the things we all want to know so much more about; and on the other hand, things that are explained fully are things we don't tend to be as fussed about. Although, that's probably because it's nice to ask questions, especially if you don't know things and you can't do that if you've been told all about it.

xD Okay. I've determined that Tonks has probably died with her last appearance, mainly because I can believe Vivi's explanation of absolutely no control to change her appearance (and I'm going to assume they were AK's since they weren't injured) and the killing curse doesn't do anything to the person but kill them, so they drop on the spot. I don't think they mentioned what Tonks looked like at the battle, but I want to think she had her bubblegum pink but it's a possibility she went with a darker color since it is in the middle of a battle and it wouldn't be wise to bounce around with bright pink hair and be easily spotted.
