The problem with having two contests is that you would be unable to fairly judge between a banner and a poem.

Well, to me it seems plain that we need to organise a lord and lady first for the society,As they will probably play a partin the rank system I reckon. So I'd say lets get those positions filled, then we can turn our minds as to HOW to rank up. I think thats a sensible idea personally.

Well, I'm sorry I haven't been around lately. I'll try and get back in the swing of things. But yeah, I think the ranking system the Lamenter came up with is a good idea. And I saw the date for nominating Lord and Lady was closed, do we have them yet?

I'm back! Uh, this time I was captured and tortured by... GIANT FROGS that were trying to get the location of our secret fortress! I told them nothing.

Let's see if I can catch up on everything.

Tur: My question is the same as Nurr's, have the Lord and Lady been chosen?

Lamenter: So you're saying that the Lord and Lady be chosen by popular vote and the rest of us be ranked by contests? I like it. I think graphics, poetry/songs, drawing, and possibly a trivia contest could be good for starters.

And I can't help but notice that we're kind of missing most of our members. Tur, do you think you could extend the Lord and Lady contest to maybe... September 15? That way I can write a rousing proclamation that could be sent to our missing members to encourage their return. Then, to celebrate the return of our fellow knights and the election of our leaders, I'd be more than happy to host a grand celebration at my castle. Then you can announce the Lord and Lady at the feast and we can also kick of the first few contests.

I may also give our banner a facelift. I don't like it much anymore.

I am not one of those missing Knights, mind you! And I shall bring the finnest foods from my castle for the feast! As well as my best dancers, jesters, musicians, and trick horses and their riders for the festivals! lol! (who says knights can't have fun with that kind of stuff?)

No, really, I made the contest at that time and I got no votes. So nothing has been decided, but I have gotten one vote so far now, so yes, I will extented it!

but please, when you do vote, please vote for BOTH the lord and the lady, that way they willl be equal. And then, we will host our first ever, KNIGHT FEAST! And there, I will announce the lord and lady.

I would volunteer in a heartbeat... but I can't... saddly. Two new horses have joined me at my humble abode only days ago. A 4 month old and a 4 year old. Both who I must train to be noble steeds! Do my time on the computer is less and less each day. So, I would if I could, but I can't so I won't(I love that saying... lol!)

Currently, I've begun about five new banners.

I was thinking that the best way to get our brothers and sisters back would be to PM them directly (I've already started it, actually) about the lord and lady vote, the contests for ranking, and the feast and invite them to return and join us. Though it might be good to put things in siggys and maybe make a banner declaring the "Knights of A-U Revival" or something of the sort.

Please, if anyone doesn't like that I seem to be commandeering this operation, tell me.

EDIT: I've finished the PM. It was fun. I'll send a copy to you, Tur, and anyone else who wants it.

Nurr: I don't know, but maybe we should post a thread in Misc. Ramdomness the same day we do the PM to get some attention from non-knights.

Now, a bit of the nitty-gritty details:
-Should we have it here or in Misc. Randomness? (If we go to misc randomness, we might want to ask for moddy approval)
-I think Sept 28 is the day to start the feast, as it's a Friday and it can go to Sunday or Monday.
-We're already planning to have contests kick off with the festival. Might we want to start an RPG as well?

As soon as we get those decided the PM will be ready to send out.

Tur, Ill be ready to revive some fallen knights with sharp oratory heavy PM's. just tell me who and it will be done!! *Lifts up balmung and blows horn of Gondor*

I think the feast should be here! I mean, if it's going to also anounce the Lord and Lady for the club, than I think it should be in the club section! And I had started an rpg once... but it died! Oh... I'm going through 3 club revivals at the moment... Knight, Mystical Creature, and Murtagh... huff... *goes off to request revival banners for Mystical creature and Murtagh clubs*




Haha... if we all got on our horses... and rode over to timx4's castle for the festival... we'd be a cavalcade of Knights! (sorry... just had to use that word... it's one of my vocab words for school )
