Gold Dusk smiled wryly and said, "It happens sometimes, but it's usually just a friend knowing where to find me when I'm not home." He walked up to Galitaia's door. "Ok here we are." He knocked on the door . "Anyone home?" He called.

Glitaia glanced out the window. "Meriana get out of those things ... quickly... we have company!!!!" She quickly put the other cloth back into the trunk.

Meriana threw off the dress and threw it into her room. she had clothes on under the dress. she ran to the door and opend it. seeing it was Gold Dusk she was glad she threw off the wedding dress. she was out of breath when she got to the door. " hello boys." she said leaning on the door post.

Gold dusk lifted an eyebrow in quary. "Darren is looking for the sword you took from him when we took him to see Cloudya the first time."

Cloudya eventually drifted into a deep dreamless sleep and Altadon relaxed.

Meriana nodded. " come in, i'll get it." once they were in she smiled. " i'll be right back" she turned to go then turned back around. " don't follow me." she gave Galitaia a look that she was sure Galitaia would know what it meant. <i> the dress is in my room</i> she smiled. she went into her room and brought out the sword. it was wraped in a cloth to keep it protected. she handed it to darren.

Darren thankfully took it. Darren fineally asked the question he knew that was on Gold Dusk's mind as well. " why were you rushing to get to the door?" he asked.

Meriana blushed. "becuase i was getting fitted for my wedding dress." she said honestly and looking at Gold Dusk.

"Oh!" Gold Dusk said his eyes widening in suprise, "If I had know I wouldn't have come..." He blushed a deep red. "I apologise for my intrusion."

Galitaia knew exactly what Meriana said and went to get the dress. She wrapped it in a blanket before carying it out of Meriana's room. "No harm done, you didn't see her in it." She smiled reassureingly knowing that Gold Dusk was worried over the old centar stories.

Meriana grined. she looked at Darren. " so why do you need the sword?" she asked looking at him.

Darren began to tell her of his quest. they all ended up sitting in the sitting room while Darren told his story. by the end of it Meriana was very confused. " but...you cant just leave, i mean..what if you get hurt." Meriana had become friends with darren and was concerned for his well being.

Galitaia tucked the dress into the trunk, then starting packing food items into the empty pack that Darren had brought with him.

Cantarious sat transfixed by Darrens explanitaion. "So you are sayint that you are going to go hairing off on a Dragon search because Cloudya refusled to say yes when you asked her to marry you? Right?" He asked trying to get his facts straight.

" sort of. the only way i can marry her is if i am bonded with another dragon." he said thinking it through. " i love her, and i will do whatever it takes to marry her." he said firmly.

Meriana sat by Gold Dusk with his hand enlaced with hers. " awww true love." she giggled and leaned her head on Gold Dusk's sholder. she became serious again . " sorry i don't know where that came from." she blushed.

Gold Dusk rested his cheek against Meriana's head. "I do ..." He said smileing fondly. "It was the first tought that went through your head when you heard what Daren had to say, and I believe that if he is going to go on his juorney he will need to leave shortly before Cloudya comees to hunt him dwon..."

Meriana smiled. " yep. that's probably where that came from." she giggled again. " and i do believe that Gold Dusk is correct. if it were me i'd be coming after you now and demanding an explanation." she said. " we should get you on your way." she said, she stood up. " Darren where do you plan to go first?"

Darren thought for a moment. " i'm not sure. maybe to a near by town and i'll buy a map and see where i can go from there." he said looking her in the eye.

Glaitaia prought back the now full pack and set it on the floor next to Darren along with a dark green centar cloak. "I know the cloak is too big, but it will at least keep you warm and dry. It's waterproof so you won't get wet if it rains." She smiled.

Darren picked up the pack and swung it over his sholder. he took the cloak and looked at it. " thank you, you have been very kind." he said. " well i should probably get going."

Meriana nodded yes. " and Gold Dusk and i will see you off." she said walking over to the door. " we will get your horse and the point you to the road to the second nearest town." she said knowing that the first closest town was the one that they had both come from.

Gold Dusk went and saddled on of the plow horses and lead it toward the house. "Here you go ... Her name is blossom ... treat her nicely and she will do the same to you, however if you do something she doesn't like I can assure you she will sit dwon and not move until you apologise." Gold Dusk said this with a wry smile. She had done that to him on several occasions when he had been training her.

Darren chuckled. " thanks for the advice." he took the reins of the horse. " so which way to the second nearest town." he smiled at meriana, but there was something in his eyes that was sad, he didnt want to leave but he had to. if he ever wanted to be with Cloudya, he had to leave and find this dragon.
