Hey guys, I'm afraid I have some bad news. It turns out that one of the soldiers that was killed in Iraq recently was closely related to one of the families my mother teaches with, so we will be helping them out some over the next few days. Also, it turns out that the Renaissance Fair I work at will need me this week (It seems as though the kid who plays Hamlet in the high school production is sick, and I'm the understudy). So... this means I won't be round much until Sunday(Our last show is Saturday).
But I thought I'd make up a quick list of what's been done and what hasn't.
We have people working on:
-Banners and such: tim4x
-PM's: Lamenter & tim4x
-Lord and Lady contest: Tur
We need people to:
-Decide whether or not to create a new RPG
-Post an announcement in Misc. Randomness (I belive Nurr offered to do it)
-Decide what contests we're going to have and find people to lead them (I'll be willing to lead a graphic or drawing contest, or both)
Since no one voiced any objections the feast goes from Friday September 28nd to Monday October 1st, with the contests beginning on the 1st.
Turwaithiel Swann wrote: @ Tim4x-Seriously? FIVE banners! That's AWESOME! That's what I was thinking...thank you for starting to do so! I have like, no time, or else I would have. Actually, the final count should be between seven and nine. Four or five are pretty simple ones made from deviantART artwork, and the others will be from King Arthur, A Knight's Tale and Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Turwaithiel Swann wrote: Could you send me a copy of the pm, and then a list of people you have sent it to, and then I will do the same! As soon as possible. Turwaithiel Swann wrote: You are fine. Tim! You taking this leadership really helps me out! Ok, Good. Often I find that I end up being an unbelievably obnoxious control freak if no one keeps me in check. Turwaithiel Swann wrote: And the feast will be an RPG in itself, would it not? The thing is, if we have this revival and everyone comes back, then we go back to doing nothing, everyone's going to leave again. So we need to have events, discussions and such going on all the time. I thought that a Knights of A-U RPG in the RPG section that was totally unrelated to the feast might be a good idea. Either that, or we turn this thread into a permanent RPG where everyone has to be in character and such all the time and we have mock battles and quests and stuff. Turwaithiel Swann wrote: @ The Lamenter-That would be awesome! If you and Tim would like to pm each other and choose people to send pms to, it would help me greatly! We're in touch, but it's going to take a bit to figure out the real names of a lot of the knights on the front page. Turwaithiel Swann wrote: @ The Nightengale-At first, I thought you were serious. lol
So did I!

If I worked on it long enough, I could post an announcement and think about some contests...
Oooh, I did just have a good contest idea... it could be graphics AND drawing, as well as some writing - design a coat of arms for yourself, with different things, and say WHY each thing is there... I dunno. *shrug*

Well, we're planning for a festival of the knights!
And we did have an rpg once, but it died... I guess because we just split up and that sort of thing...
I'll lead any contest exept graphic contests... but don't you think the Lord and Lady should lead the contests so that everyone else can join if they're working on getting a higher rank! You know?
And if we start a rew rpg, I think we should plan out a good plot!

I like this idea! It'd also help keep this club alive too, since it seems to disappear a lot.
@the Nightingale: I like the idea of a coat of arms! It'd be all knightly and you wouldn't have to have great graphics skills for it either.

^ And if you're awful at graphics, you could draw it.
