"Mmm ... now there's a thought. You're mom with a puppy despite the fact that she's a clean freek and is allergic to animal dander." Sylan said as he streached out his legs crossing them at the ancle and crossong his arms over his chest.

Corison laughted softly at her brother's kidding.

A nurse stepped into the room, and smiled seeing all the visitors. "My goodness you are a popular one arn't you, I was just checking to see if you needed anything."

this is when David got embarresed. he quickly got up and set Corison on the bed nicely and covered her. he did all this with very red cheeks and quick but gentle movements.
Lanie laughed but shut her trap when she relized how loud she had laughed. her cheeks thus became red, but not as red as David's.
David went and leaned on the wall next to the chairs. he kept his head down.

The nurse smiled again, "You didn't have to move honey. I wasn't going to stay long." She turned and left the room closeing the door behind her.

Corison looked over at David and asked, "How's school going? How much have I missed?" She fround thinking about all the tests and work she was going to have to make up. She shook her head and then waited for the answers to her questions.

Corison glanced over at her sister. "Be careful Lanie... please." She said watching as she left the room.

Lanie sighed at her sister's words. " sure sis..." she wispered to herself. she walked out of the hospital doors and headed for the gas station. she had 20 bucks that Sylan gave her. she could be fine on that for a while. she walked into the gas station and walked around. first she was going to get one of those spining boritos on the things that make them hot. she got one and put it in one of the provided bags and turned around.
she almost droped the bag when she saw josh.

"well well. what do we have here..." he smiled at her you could almost taste the fear aluminating from Lanie. she had heard what he had done to some of his ex's she was shaking. " Lanie..well..looks like your doing well...that charming brother of yours anywhere?"
Lanie uttered out a simple " n-no"
Josh looked around then grabed Lanie by the arm. " come on, lets go..." he said as he drug her out of the gas station, he held a knife to her back so she would say anything. he took her to his car and shoved her in. some of Josh's friends were there. (all guys) Lanie had tears in her eyes, she had no idea what would come next.

Sylan stayed a little longer , then decided to leave as well. He got in his car and was driveing by a gas station when he saw Lanie and Josh walking out the door. He didn't like tha look of fear he saw on her face.
Sylan pulled into the parking lot, but didn't get out of the car. He was thankful for the dark sunglasses he wore. The flash of metal caught his eye. He didn't like the look of things.

Josh drove out of the parking lot and headed twards his friends house. they had the music blaring but were driving normally so they wouldnt get stoped by a cop. they got to an appartment complex and drove twards the back of it.
Lanie looked around at the place she started to get an idea of where this was going. one tear sliped down her cheek.
Josh looked over at her. " now now, why are you crying?" josh said as he wiped a tear from her face. Lanie jerked her face away as he touched it. Josh grabed her face and pulled it twards his and kissed her hard. Lanie bit his lip and made it bleed. Josh pulled back and looked at her with rage in his eyes. " you little-"
"Josh were here. come on. not out here man" the guy who was driving said.
josh nodded and let one of his friends take lanie and haul her out of the car and go over to the buliding
Lanie tried to scream but a hand was clapped over her mouth. " shut her up man." josh's friends all said.
they got inside the apartment and closed the door. the man holding lanie let her go.
Lanie was in the middle of a room with about 6 guys. she looked around. she wasnt about to let herself get paniced.
Josh had gone to the back room, when he came back lanie's back was turned twards him. she didn't see him take off his belt and then slam it against her back.
all the other guys just stood back and watched. lanie turned around after she had recovered from the first blow. you could tell she was holding back tears. Josh walked twards her and grabed her and slamed her against a wall and then kissed her again. " josh, please stop!" lanie yelled
josh didn't say anything.

30 mins went by and josh wasnt done beating her yet. lanie was brusied everywhere.
about an hour later he was done, he had left her out passed out by a dumpster and drove away with his friends. lanie lay there uncontious

Sylan followed Josh's car but got lost. When he finally found where Lanie was she had been beaten and was uncontious. Thankfully no bones had been broken, and he picked her up from where she lay wrapping her gently in his jacket.
Sylan took Lanie back to the hospital nearly on the verge of tears. He called David's cell and askedhim to meet him in the emergency room.

David could hear the stress in his voice. he looked at Corison. " um...i'll be right back." he said before he slipped out the door. he pretty much ran to the emergency room.
when he got there his eyes were wide. " oh my god, what happend?" he asked Sylan.

"Josh ..." Was all Sylan managed to say before the tears he tried to hold back spilled over. Hot tears of anger rolled down his cheeks and he bowed his head.

David understood. he went over to the lady at the desk and told her what happend. David got some nurses to get her a room fast.

After lanie was in her room and waiting for a doctor David put a hand on Sylan's sholder. " ok so, tell me what happend." he said trying to figure it all out.

Lanie started to wake up just then.

"I saw her at the gas station... Josh was there. He made her get into a his car... I tried to follow, but I lost them, and when I found them again ..." He stopped a pained look crossing his face. "She was beaten black and blue, laying uncontious by a dumpster."
He looked up as Lanie started to awaken.

Lanie looked up at the celing, she had no clue where she was. she sat up fast, breathing hard, and looking around. when she saw Sylan and David. she started crying. she didn't say a word, all she could do was cry.
