Yep, you do need help! But then, it's too much fun. Why stop? :D

Me too! Especially Nathan Lane as Timon! When I saw the Producers I was kept thinking "This is so weird! He's human!"

Ragetti totally rocks! :bounce: "We'll tie ourselves upside down to the mast, so when the boat flips we'll be the right way up!" Oh yes, very clever! ;)

"Don't stop." "Couldn't resist, mate." :D

Yep! What's really funny is, Nathan Lane and Ernie Sabella really do look like human versions of their characters. Like, Nathan's all skinny and Ernie's...not. :P

*:hug:s Ragetti* You know, PD says I should find a guy...maybe I'll marry Ragetti! :teehee:

 You know, that line almost doesn't make sense because he's finished bandaging her hand... what does she want him to do? Undo it? :P "You're not making any sense at all, mate!" :teehee:

No, Nathan's kind of...um... hefty as well. ;) Though not as big as Ernie. :D

 Your father and grandfather and uncle would have a heart attack! After all, "he's a pirate." :teehee:

No, but it's cute anyway. :P "Thank goodness for that, because if I [was] this would probably never work!"

Oh yeah, you're right. He's still smaller than Ernie though. :D

I know! All the more reason! :teehee: Though Daddy and Grandpa can't really talk, they were pirates for a time too. :P

Well I'm back on this thread! :bye2:
I think I'm a bit confused, who are Nathan Lane and Ernie Sabella?
And you're right,Ragetti is just awesome,I think he is the only sane person in all the crew
I was thinking, who ,for you, is the best female character?Liza,Tia,AnaMaria,Giselle,Scarlet?I think, for me,it's a tie between Liza and Tia,but the others are also cool!(And I love their wardrobe, yes, even Liza's puffy dress cause I love poffy dresses, like Galinda's dress in Wicked:it's so barbie-like and pink and blue and puffy! :-D )
I'm glad that you people think the same way as me of the ''so-called''Mary-Sues of LOTR,SW,POTC,Wicked,HP,CON,TT :annoyed2: .
Oh,and my family is alright, thank you guys very much

Yay!
Nathan Lane and Ernie Sabella played Timon and Pumbaa in Disney's The Lion King. :) I'm not quite sure how we got to talking about them but there you go.
No, I think Gibbs was the sanest person there. :P But hey, who needs sanity? :D
I'd say Elizabeth, but I kind of like Giselle because it's so funny... "Who is she?" *slap* :teehee:
Puffy dresses are fun. Part of me wishes that women still dressed like that... minus the corsets. ;)

Oh good! :D I worried about them, everytime I heard about the earthquake I would think of them. :( I'm glad they're okay!

Glad to see you!
Sorry, that's Taur and me being random-ish...Ernie and Nathan are the guys who voice Timon and Pumbaa from The Lion King.
Um, I think Elizabeth and Anamaria are my favorite females, though Tia's very interesting in her own way(she scares me! :P). I really wish they'd brought Anamaria back in the second and third movies, she was awesome! :D
*high fives* I don't think Elizabeth is a Mary-Sue, I see some qualities of a Sue but she's not flawless or anything...
That's good to hear! :) Thanks for updating us.

Yeah, I agree....Tia is very interesting...and even more interesting when we found out that she is Calypso

After seeing the Tia turn into Calypso bit a few more times, it's not as bad as I first thought. I especially love the "humble and contrite" bit of Barbossa's line, it was so not him.

I still cried at Norrington and Davy's deaths... and I started to giggle when Cutler died. My two friends, who were seeing it for the first time and I had a great conversation during the scene:

Darky:"He's magical."
Friend:"Why?"
Darky:"Look, nothings touching him."
Friend:"Nuh-uh, something just bounced off his eye, a piece of wood or something."
Darky:"What are you an idiot? It's all CGI, nothing is hitting him."
Friend: "Is he dead yet?"
Darky:"Getting there."
Friend:"Well, he's taking an awful long time."
Darky:"This part of the film is slowed down, to add effect."
Friend:"Who fell on the flag?
Darky:"Buckett."
Friend:"Why's he named after a bucket?"
Darky:"He's not, there was this guy on the forum I go to and he accidentally put Buckett rather than Beckett, so thats what I call him, plus Beckett is my brother in law, so I can call him what I wants."
Friend:"Can I meet him?"
Darky:"Who?"
Friend:"Buckett!"
Friend 2: "How can you be related to him, he's not real."
Darky: "Try telling that to Pirate's Destiny, well Calloniel as shes called now..."
Friend:"Can I meet him?!?!?"
Darky:"...your an idiot."

*sigh* the things I put up with. Lol.

Taurquende, Yes, I would think that it would be too. There are probabley Alot of girls who try to date him just his looks and/or his fame. Sad really but I suspect true. (nods) I agree! Poor Orli. ( :hug:s Orli) There is still time though, so hopefuly eventualy there will be a Mrs. Bloom. :)

PD, You are very welcome. Huzzah! Very true. Jack was the only one on the soundtrack cover. Yes, exactly they have allready been on a cover. So I must agree. If I could pick who was on the cover it would be Jack, Will, Elizabeth, Norrington, Beckett, and maybe Barbossa...that cover would have to be very big or the pictures would have to be very small. Hey we nearly had the exact same list....cool! (high fives PD)
Huzzah, only 94 more days to go! :bounce:

Anie Surion, Thank you. Exactly. It just seemed fitting. Elizabeth was his destiny. I am glad that you agree. Very good point. Calypso....we must not forget her. (nods)
Oh me too! Anna was probabley my very favorite female character from Pirates of the Caribbean. So I was also very disappointed that she was not in the othe Pirates of the Caribbean movies. She could have played an important part to the story. Perhaps she could have ended up with Norrington (as I have mentioned before), or Jack, she could have been related to one of them somehow (a half sister to one of the main characters or cousin or something), or she could have been one fot eh main character's ex girlfriend or wife.... or something...so much potential. I wish that they had have kept her. (sighs)

FaeEowynTonks, I am glad that your family is allright. :) My favorite female character from Pirates of the Caribbean? Hmmm...maybe Anna Maria. I do not know exactly why but I really liked her and thought that there was room for great character devolpment there. I would have loved to have seen her and Norrington together...but that is a different story and one that I think that I have told before though. :teehee: So though I think that most of their female character were very cool, Anna Marie was probabley my favortie.

Huzzah! I get to see AWE again tomorrow! :bounce:

wow! lol five times in one night? yeah, I like the ones you have now too.... parhaps it's time to settle down and "wear" them for a while? ;)

oooo lucky you! :swoon:

Aye! But, ah well, who needs him if he's afraid of us? :P

Yes, I know just what you mean. :) *salutes novel writers*

  But...but...it's not Davy's crew anymore, it's Will's crew! So you can just leave me here, and don't worry, I'm quite happy. :teehee: (don't tell Lizzie ;))

Yeah, I certainly wouldn't want to be in their way if one of the kids was in danger - mother bears and all that. :P Uncle Jack and Uncle Hector, you mean! (and I'm sure it would've been Uncle James too... :'(

Doesn't it? "[He's] a hard man to predict"...and yet not really, we have him figured out. ;)

You're welcome. :) Yes, look on the bright side, at least some of the others are on there. (though I'll probably tape Norrie's pic on the front of my copy :P just so he'll have some kind of memorial)

well, thank you! :-D nah, that's not me.... at least I don't think so ;)
(yup, good ol' Taur! :teehee:)

you're lucky you just think random thoughts... I've found out I am excellent about tuning people out when they interrupt my PotC time (sometimes though if they're talking about PotC I'll talk to them while I'm watching PotC :P)....

right! Who needs a stupid doctor anyway?! Will could be our doctor... and Jack could be our therapist and Barbossa could be our... our... our what? hmmmm

hmmm, very good point. It is Will's crew now, isn't it... hmmm, well, that's why I changed it and said you were claimed by the sea of endless quotes.... I'm not about ready to let you get Will all to yourself ;)

totally! I wouldn't want to be anywhere near those kids when they get hurt! Can you imagine having Will, Lizzie and probably even Jack and maybe Barbossa on your case thinking you may be the one who hurt him/her? :swoon: oh, you're right it's Uncle Hector lol (awww, Uncle James! That's sweet! *huggles Norrie*)

that we do. :P

you're right! It definitely could've been worse! awww, that's a good idea.... I might have to put something of Norrie on mine too...

Not liking the 2 Disc Limited Edition art, but I like the Single Disc Art. Well, this is quite a dilema. Well, going to get the 2 Disc Edition, even if I dont like the art...

The Extras sound great though, very excited.

Anyways, I'll be popping in and out once and a while, just to keep an eye on any new developments.

Awww, but isn't Willabeth great!? ;) just kidding I know you don't really care for them.... although I'll never quite understand why but that doesn't really matter. :) what matters is you're back! It's great to see you, Darky! :-D maybe you can bring some saneness back into the discussions.

what do you mean about Will having two left feet? back in the 1700's all the shoes were just straight... there were no "right" or "left" foot shoes.

the extras sound ok to me but they still seem to be lacking a lot of good, quality things they could easily have... oh, what don't you like about the art? My brother said he liked the single disc art better too.... I actually prefer the two disc art I think.... maybe :-D

Hi! Glad to see you! my favorite female character is definitely Elizabeth... although I find Giselle kind of interesting too... and she's funny "who was she?" *SLAP!* (oh, my gosh, Taur, I actually wrote that before I read your post! That is so weird that we thought of the same thing and quote!  ) but Tia Delma was a awesome character too. that's a very interesting question, FaeEowynTonks! Oh, yes all the wardrobes in PotC are AWESOME! :-D
no problem... Most of the girl characters are a good addition to a cast and almost none of them in your bigger movies are just Mary-Sue characters.

oh, really? I don't really care for the Tia turning into Calypso scene... it just seemed fake to me.... I didn't mind anything else in the scene but when she was that big doll-like thing? Well, I didn't care for that.... the rest of it was great though. oh, well. :)

Awww, poor Becky! I miss my dear Cutler! :(

Lol I like that little conversation, Darky! it did seem to take a while for him to die but it was the perfect death for him. honorable and noble. that's cool that you mentioned us! Awww, my Becky is very real (although I'm not sure he'd appreciate being called Buckett ;))! *pouts and hugs her very real Becky *)

PD, Oh no worries. It is perfectly fine. I did near the same thing to poor Dark Queen of Angmar...it can get confusing around here sometimes. lol So it is fine.
I really do not understand it either. I wish that they had not though. (sighs) However they did have some really good picures of the rest of the cast on the inside. So I supose that it all worked out in the end...it still would have been nice if the other characters had been on the cover though...lol...I can be quite picky sometimes. :teehee:
Yep, only about 45 more minutes until it becomes 93 days to go in the USA! :bounce:

Dark Queen of Angmar, Oops somehow I missed your posts when I posted before. I humbley apologise. I am glad to "see" you around, sister! :) I have missed your imput on Pirates of the Caribbean.
I think that I might like the first one better too. So I certainly understand what you mean. However I will be buying the two disc edition one as well. (nods)
 I love the conversation that you had with your friends! Ooh and you talked about some your AU friends and their husbands and family members too?! Way cool! (high fives Dark Queen of Angmar). :) Oh, thank you so very, very much for sharing that with us! :) I really enjoyed reading it. :)

(Huzzah for Taur! :D I've got my guy friend Devon in RL doing it too, just the other day I told him over email that my best girl friend said hi and he said "'Ello poppet!" :teehee:)

 Yeah. Usually it's random thoughts about the characters though, especially when a certain blacksmith-turned-pirate is onscreen. :P

*cough* Kindly DO NOT mention the words "Will" and "doctor" in the same sentence...that tends to make me think things that I, as a "good" girl, would prefer not to think. :teehee: And I think Jack wouldn't be a very good therapist, his only comments would be "Have some more rum."

Ah, of course not. Anyway, I'm sure when Elizabeth finds out she'll be "a woman scorned, like which fury Hell hath no"...so I'll be dead, and therefore out of the running, anyway. :P

*chickens out and runs just thinking about it* ;) That's a very formidible force, eh?

 Oh, um, I was joking...sort of. Okay, not really. :P I think I'll give the family a bit of time to get used to him (especially Uncle Cutler and Grandpa!) but thanks for offering. :)

(sighs)

Aw, that's so romantic! :swoon: :P Well, Calypso's kinda hard to forget anyway.

...hm. I hadn't thought about Anamaria and Norrie before...this is an interesting idea. I kinda like it. :) Good one! (though I will confess, I enjoy the idea of Anamaria and Jack together a lot) Ah well, if we spend a lot of time on "I wish" and "if only" we won't appreciate what really did happen. :)

Um, I think Elizabeth and Anamaria are my favorite females, though Tia's very interesting in her own way(she scares me! :P).

Yeah, I agree....Tia is very interesting...and even more interesting when we found out that she is Calypso

And the fact that she was the one Davy was in love with! I don't blame him though, it seems absolutely awful that she made him ferry souls to the other side and set aside one day every 10 years that they could be together... and then she didn't come. :(

Lol.

  Oh dear, I would go crazy! "Can I meet him!?!?!" :roflmao:

Mm, I'd never thought of that either! It's a neat idea, but I don't really see them together. Maybe if she had more character development I could. :D

Hi! Glad to see you! my favorite female character is definitely Elizabeth... although I find Giselle kind of interesting too... and she's funny "who was she?" *SLAP!* (oh, my gosh, Taur, I actually wrote that before I read your post! That is so weird that we thought of the same thing and quote! )

 Well, great minds think alike, eh? ;)

what do you mean about Will having two left feet? back in the 1700's all the shoes were just straight... there were no "right" or "left" foot shoes.

She was talking about on the island scene Will puts on his left boot, and then Elizabeth's shows up with the boot on her left leg... so Will has two left feet, see? :)
How do you know that?! Well, I guess that explains it then! :teehee:

Calloniel (PD) wrote:
right! Who needs a stupid doctor anyway?! Will could be our doctor... and Jack could be our therapist and Barbossa could be our... our... our what? hmmmm

Our dentist! :D I've always wanted teeth like Barbossa... so dirty and yellow... complete with scraggly beard! :teehee:

wow! lol five times in one night? yeah, I like the ones you have now too.... parhaps it's time to settle down and "wear" them for a while?

Yeah, I think so. :P I actually went back to my old one for a while, but then I found this one and I think I'll stick with it. :D

And I think Jack wouldn't be a very good therapist, his only comments would be "Have some more rum."

Oh, that'd be exactly what he'd say! I can hear him now... "You need to find yourself a [boy], mate!" "Just close your eyes and pretend it's all a bad dream! That's how I get by." "And that was without even a single drop of rum!" :P
