Oooh... Gavin is good. ;)

Jamie. That's another one I've come to like a lot lately. I'm very old fashioned though, so I like names that you can go into a shop and buy a mug with it on. So annoying when things like that don't have your name. :-(

Jaime or Jamie? Hmm.. they're the same, but the boy I know with that name spells it Jaime. Looks funny now that I think about it.

Hehe.. I knew you'd say something about Gavin. I told you I'd added it to my favourite names list. ;)

 I really don't think I could care less about the name of my future husband. I can't control what his parents named him, can I? If my perfect match is named Ebeneezer Willydinker then I'll just call him Ben and we'll change our last name. :P

 A very good point! Although one can only hope that parents do not name their children 'Ebeneezer Willydinker' any more..

:teehee:

I tend not to tack on names to my idea of a good future husband, but I like collecting interesting names all the same. Jaime...I've never seen that spelling for the name before! I like it. :)

I'm one for the traditional spelling of names myself, but that one is not too different from the traditional so I like it. :-) It's when you get strange spelling of names like:

Krystene - Kristine - Krystine = Christine

Traditional is too much for me I think since those names seem to pop up everywhere. I mean, it's very common for you to hear the name John, Sarah, etc. and although I don't mind those names, I think it'd be nice to marry someone with something a bit more interesting. Now, now, that doesn't mean I'm going to turn him down if he has the most common name ever, but.. well, it's fun to have a different name than everyone else. :P

Well surely traditional is better than people being given traditional names but trying to disguise the fact they are traditonal by giving them different spellings. That seems to be slightly ironic to me. :P

No, I'm a traditional kind of person me. I like names that you can go into a gift shop and find a magnet or a mug with that name on. I'm a bit tired of never being able to have those simple things just because my name is different.

Unless of course I marry someone unbelievably posh and rich, and then I'd have names like Algernon, Ernest, Henry, Charles and Nathaniel. :teehee:

I'm definitely going to have to try and hook a millionare or something. 'Tis the only way I tell ye! :D

^Yes, it would be nice if he were rich, but I'd definitely rather him have a kind heart. I've seen many couples who married just for riches, and they're now divorced. Money just isn't enough.

Personally if I really, really wanted to marry a rich man, what I want is a kind hearted, shy man who needs a little bit of...spirit in his life. ;). I have too many things I need money for. :P My Weta collection for one, and too many charities I wish I could support but I can't.

Agreed, agreed. Marrying for money has it's perks, but never turns out good, whilst marrying someone [who happens to be rich] for love is a whole different matter with loads more perks. :P

^Sort of like marrying a Darcy or Bingly, eh? ;) Personally, I prefer the Bingly. :P

That could be nice, but I don't want to be the one who fixes him. That job belongs to Someone else...hopefully you understand what I mean by that. I can't tame a man, or fix him, because I can't change hearts. But that Someone else can. I want this guy to be able to support me like I support him.

Yeah, I think I getcha drift Gwen. Took me a minute to twig though because I'm kinda slow at those sort of things. :P

A Bingley or a Darcy would be good. I just want someone to tale care of me really.

Wow, I've posted like three different types of men I wouldn't mind marrying. In other words I really haven't a clue what I'm looking for. :teehee:

SQUEEE! I'd love a Darcy. *über dreamy sigh* That's what I mean by dark. He's so quiet and loving in his own way. I love him. :teehee:
