to answer your questions though.. No. I don't want a fourth Pirates at all. But if they insist on ruining (IMO) the trilogy and make this movie than they need to be very, VERY careful. They need to keep it like the trilogy in some ways and they need to keep it in the PotC feel. No way do I want it to get all strange and out of this world. It's just Disney out to get more money… *sigh* and anyway how do you beat out the villains they had, the story they had and everything else they had going for them? also to answer your second question. NO, NO, NO! If they have to do this stay with Jack, Barby and the ORIGNIAL Black Pearl crew (Mr. Gibbs, Marty, Pintel, Ragetti, and Mr. Cotton). I wouldn't watch that movie at all if they replaced Will or Lizzie with anyone/anything else! No, no, no!!!! as it is it would take a lot to get me to see it.... and anyway how could you replace two great characters like Lizabeth and Will?

Well, I dont have a major problem with a number 4, as long as they keep the same writers, directors, etc. I'm ok if a fourth movie had just Jack, Barbossa, and the Black Pearl, maybe a few short roles for Will and Liz. But if they cut Will and Liz out completely, you wont' see me complaining.

I'm curious, what did you find that made you so angry? Though I've looked through the Deviantart POTC stuff and I think I have a vague idea...

IF they do a 4th film, I agree with PD that they shouldn't make it too out-of-this-world creepy or whatever. Calypso was about as far as I'd like to go into the supernatural. I wouldn't mind watching a film about Barbossa and Jack, because Barby is amazingness and he and Jack fight so much it'd be funny to watch. But the Black Pearl's crew should stay as is, and I'd like to maybe have Will, Elizabeth, and Will III/Liam in there a bit if it's possible. I'm glad T&T said they'd only do a 4th one if they got a stellar idea thoug, really 3rd time's a charm as far as movies go... If it's a Barby-Jack-Black Pearl crew movie, "persuade me." Unless of course it shows more little Turners, but "as I said, persuade me."

really? I love my avvies! I was actually wondering if there was any way to get any more added in. you know what? Our Claire's had some new PotC stuff in today... they have a mini stationary set that comes with 12 Jack and Will stickers (finally! I got my PotC stickers! ), a mini note pad with Jack and Will on it, and a pencil.... too bad the things didn't have any other characters on them. *sigh* although I was thinking of getting a Lizabeth key chain.

I hate it when they have JUST Jack and Will... I'd like some Norry stuff, or some Davy stuff... I dont have nearly enough Davy or Norry stuff for my liking. -_- And if they do sell stuff with other characters on it, its too expensive, or needs to be bought over the internet. With a credit card. Which is something I do not posess.

well, when it has anything to do with Willabeth I can sometimes get a little excited.

I know! My brother calls it the monotonous two.... I don't mind it sometimes but when that's all you see ALL of the time... it gets tiering... I would probably die if I saw something with Norrie or Becky or any of the other characters on it. once on a UK site I saw a puzzle that had Norrie on it... too bad it was from the UK.
Other than action figures (which SOME of them I do have... especially the Will ones or Norrie ones (but NOT the Disney Store ones!)) I can hardly find anything with any other characters on it..... if the companies made stuff with Beckett, Barbossa, Davy, James or even more Lizabeth stuff I think they would find it would sell. *sigh*

I did manage to find two 150 piece puzzles at Toys R' Us, that I got, they have evryone except Norry on them... so that was a nice change... And I got napkins for my birthday party with jack on them... but thats a different subject...

I've never really REALLY liked the action figures, they just cant capture the faces of the characters as well as I would like. I have a Frodo and a Gollum one, and they just dont look real enough for me. But I have seen the Davy one, and it looks decent.

Oh good! You guys haven't completely run away with this topic since I've been gone!

I'm don't really mind a fourth, as long as it stayed true to the whole piratey spirit. Disney should know better than to fire T&T... that would just be... not right! I think they could pull it off though, with the right story. They should try to keep it seperate from the trilogy, more like a seperate movie that happens to use the same characters, if that makes sense.

Oh, I forgot to say that a couple weeks ago I got a puzzle at Barnes & Noble that's got the three (Jack, Will, Lizzie) set up a bit like on the DMC DVD cover (same pics of them and Jack and Lizzie in the foreground with Will further back). It's one of those cool puzzles where the pictures are made up of teeny screencaps from the movies, it's sooo spiffy! Quite easy too, I finished it the day I got it.

^It happens, I've seen it before. You get used to it, and you can always come away with the knowledge that it would never happen. Even though most pirates in RL were gay.

Oh, ditto here! The spyglass scene is just... . Yes indeed and that is a good thing. I love the drama/romance/adventure/actions/bittersweetness just as you said. However having the comedy in there to even it out is a Great thing. (nods)

FaeEowynTonks, If they do a forth movie I really want them, to keep all of the main characters (especialy Will...and probabley even Elizabeth). If they still had Jack and Barbossa (which seems to be in talks right now...suince they romouredly have allready signed on) I still might watch it but depending on when it came out and how much money I had, I very well might wait until it came to dvd.
(Well I am really not attempting to start a fight and I mean no offence whatsoever to any here who are gay.) However I think that I will just stay away from that part of the site.

Nah, we're all pretty easy going, so I dont think your offending anyone Fae.

Personally, I dont like slash, especially LotR slash, but its out there, and there isn't a whole lot you can do about it.
