Heya all! Ive taken a bit of a holiday from writing (nah the muse left me really) and now IM back. I have written a poem here,a bit more religious than usual, but I wrote it at church anyways. so here it is,. Hope you enjoy it.
I fell to the floor, I fell to my knees,
That hour on my bedroom floor,
And from my thoughts my homework flees,
And I locked the latch on the door.
All my toils and all my cares,
I poured out unto my Lord,
And for love and succour in prayer,
And for blessings and strength that is stored.
I wept with the memory of what the week,
Had brought to my heart and mind,
I remembered a book said "blessed are the meek"
And some other strength for my soul did I find.
I heard a voice whisper in my ear,
"My child, I will ever be thy friend,
I am with thee allways, have no fear,
I will stand by thee till the end."
"I bore the weight of the world, unbowed,
As friends left me alone,
And I ask you,of my name be proud,
take it on you, And I will bear your griefs stone."
As I finished my plea, My heart grew great,
As I thought of my Saviour and what he had done for me,
That he will be waiting, there at the last gate,
That I alone neednt pay all of lifes fee.
I stood up from my messy floor
And saw outside a day cold and grey,
I lifted the catch on the sundering door,
With my brothers assurance, I went out to face the day.

Loved it as well. Very nice way to show life and how God can give us the strength we need.
Although I do have a question that I like to ask people when they mention "God's Name" Do you know what it really is? just wondering.

Heres a question I will ask in response:
What, may I ask you, are you asking of me?
because frankly IM not sure what you mean, and the question is about as clear as mud to me.

What an amazing poem Lamenter, it really spoke to me. Sometimes I find myself in the exact same spiritual situation, not quite knowing where to turn. It's a wonderful feeling to know that the Lord is always right there for me when I need Him. Brilliantly done.

Thanks for the Constructive criticism Lar, I really appreciate it when the writing itself is evaluated rather than the subject taking precedence.

^No, I don't think he is at all! It's great to get reviews [as a writer myself I can attest to this], but every once in a while constructive criticism is even better to receive. He is in no way undermining the review you have written.
