Hum,well,can I say that I love them all? 
But,seriously,my favourites are:
Sam.his bravery and loyalty
Frodo:He accepted his heavy burden,and completed his task.
Merry and Pippin:Their development into young,serious adults.
Eowyn:Her bravery,and she shown us girls that men not always have to posses the glory!.
Galadriel:Her wisdom.
Arwen:Her love and decision to stay with Aragorn until the end!
Gimli:He's awesome,with his dwarf pride.
Grima:There always aveto be a favourite villain ,and Grima is my fave.The scen with Eowyn was sweet.
But I also like the other characters,too.

My absolutely favourite character is FRODO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's absolutely heartwrenching the thing what he is going through,and that makes me very sad,and makes to love him from all my heart!!!!!
And I don't understand why others don't stand him...
I also like the other characters,but probably my bests are the following:Sam,Gandalf,Aragorn,Legolas,Pippin,Merry,Arwen,Eowyn..huh and I like all the characters,'cause all of them have a special trait which makes me to love them.
