Ruth Ann sneered shook her head at one of the locals who was trying to call "the kid" over. Walking a little ways away from him, she was mad enough at her sistuation that another stupid person would set her ablaze. She did not belong here at Bree, but to the South, and she definetly did not need be called a child in the middle of this.

Scampering away and keeping herself calm, Ruth Ann was thankful the man moved on to trying to get money out of other visitors to Bree. Taking less than a minute to process this, Ruth ann quickly moved forward in thought to locating the other gropu. The man who insisted she was only five years old held her up for quite some time. Therefore, the group was probably out of the city already.

Outside of the city gate, Ruth Ann stared at the ground, but too many travelers had stomped about that no footprints were distinguishable. Relying on other senses, Ruth Ann secluded herself to a quiet place in hopes of finding something that would led a little further south.

The group continued on toward the East, as the sun rose from the horizon infront of them. It would take a few weeks to reach Rivendell, and from there maybe a month until they reach the border of Rohan.
"Maybe by noon tomorrow we'll reach Midgewater," Lughir thought out loud as he walked.
"But are we going to go around the Marsh, or through it," asked Trotterfoot.
"Don't know, what do the rest of you think? Through or around Midgewater Marsh?" replied Honion...

Ruth Ann had found the travelers' trail quite a while ago. To her, it would almost seem like they weren't worried about being followed or she had become almost too good at this tracking business.

Hoisting herself up into a tree, Ruth Ann sat near the treetops gazing down at the group trying to recollect some valuable information as to where they were going and why they were headed there.
