Eljaraj's comlink beeped and she picked it. "Reia, what do you need?"

"Hey, listen. The only way I can avoid staying in the apartment all night is if I can go somewhere where I'm well protected....I mean, who wants to be out in the streets?! Could I stay with you? Are you staying in your quarters tonight?"

"You may want to wait for a few others. I have some buisness I need to attend to, but I'll be at my quarters at 2000." she said, just as Ferys cane over.

Reia rolled her eyes and sighed, "Alright..." before putting her comlink away. She walked with Darren into her father's apartment and into her room. She went to her bed, sat on it with her back leaning on the wall, and blew a strand of hair out of her face.

"Eljaraj, do you mind if I come over too?" Spending time with the Chancellor would make her uncomfortable and spending time with her friends afterwards would make her calm down.

She got ready for the race, and Ferus said, "Don't forget what I told you." She nodded, and looked at Skywalker, who was in the race as well.

The race began, and she took the middle spot, while most either lagged, or zoomed off. Skywalker however was next to her, and she supposed he had the same method. The leader's skiff suddenly overheated, and he barely had time to jump off before the skiff exploded. Now, she and Skywalker were still vying for the lead.

Skywalker suddenly speeded up, and she looked at him, "Oh, skywalker." she muttered, before keeping up with him. She laughed softly, as they reached the third quarter of the race mark, and she suddenly heard another vehicle, though this was a different one. She looked behind her, and swore. "Skywalker, our masters!" He looked behind and swore as well. She speeded up, and passed Skywalker and over the finish line.

She landed by the other young Jedi, and said, "We need to get out of here. Get on your skiffs!" She gunned hers and followed Skywalker toward the Temple even as Windu and Kenobi followed them quickly. Her lightsaber fell off, and she felt it and reached out to grab it, but it was too far away, and she fell off her skiff, heading toward the ground. She closed her eyes tightly and tried to slow her descent, even as she grabbed her lightsaber. She suddenly felt a sharp pain in her right arm and heard herself grunt as she landed on another skiff, in front of the driver. "Ow!" she yelped in pain. Ferus rolled his eyes and kept going toward the Temple.

Ten minutes later they reached the Temple, but were met by several disapproving masters. Windu walked toward the skiffs, and said, "Get yourself cleaned up. And Eljaraj, when your arm is healed, go get Captain Antilles' daughter." "Yes Master Windu." "We'll deal with your punishment later." she nodded, bowed, and headed to the medical bay, where her arm was treated and wrapped into a cast. She then headed to the hangar, got in a speeder, and headed to the building where the Antilles were staying.

Reia walked to the sitting room. She was in for a long, boring night. Suddenly, her father walked in. "Dad?" she asked, turning to him.

"Okay, you're here," he said. "Are you staying here tonight?"

"I guess," she replied.

"Okay. I'll have two officers on the floor."

"Alright," she sighed.

"I'm sorry, Reia, but Coruscant's dangerous at night. I wouldn't let you go anywhere alone unless you were with a Jedi Master."

"I know."

"Okay. I'll see you later tonight."

"Mmm-hmm."

"Don't forget to contact your mother."

"I won't."

"Bye, Reia."

"Bye, Dad."

He left. She sat back down on the couch.

Padme's ship landed and she hastily walked into the Chancellor's office. "I'm late, please excuse it." she said quickly.

Palpatine sighed and nodded. Teens. Ugg...he still was grumbling over how she wasn't dead yet but he wouldn't show it. "I trust you have the numbers to show me."

Padme nodded. "We are a bit off schedule but the rebuilding of Theed is going exceedingly well. We'll need another shipment of bulding materials in about two weeks."

She came up to the building, and contacted Reia. "Reia, the Jedi want you to stay with me for a while. I'm at your building, but I don't know which floor you're on."

Reia reached for her comlink. "Eljaraj? I thought you were busy...Oh well. I'm on the fifth floor. I'll contact my father."

When she came in, she walked up to her. "Thank goodness you're here. I thought I was going to rot....what happened to your arm?!" she asked, looking at the cast.

"Long story...it was the reason I couldn't get her sooner."

Reia shook her head, thinking, <i>And only thirteen....</i> She picked up her comlink and called her father. "Dad? I'm going to the Jedi Temple...the masters have requested for me to stay with Eljaraj."

"What? Alright...just make sure Darren goes with you."

"Dad!"

"Alright! Just take a speeder and a couple of blasters with you."

"Okay," she said, looking considerably happier.

"Be careful."

"I will."

"I'll come and get you tonight."

"Okay."

"Bye."

"Bye." She put the comlink away. "Well, there you go. And, um..." she looked at Eljaraj's arm. "I'll drive." She got a pair of blasters and shoved one in her belt. "Let's go." She went to the hangar and got the speeder.

When they pulled into the hangar, she saw Obi-Wan getting out of a speeder. <i>Great,</i> she thought, <i>Just my luck...</i>

Palpatine looked at her. No bodyguards or anything. "Queen Amidala you really should bring your handmaidens with you. You never know who you might meet."

The queen didn't like how he said it. "They are disruptive for normal day activities. True they are like my friends but really I like to be free of my bodyguards once in awhile."

The Chancellor finished reading over the statistics Padme had handed him. "You are dismissed."

She got up but turned around as she got to the door. "Sire, I'd like to request more workers. With out more the building of theed will take over four years. I can't have my capitial unguarded that long."

Reia parked and began to help Eljaraj out of the speeder, saying, "Come on, come on, let's get out of here...." She walked briskly toward the entrance to the Temple, hoping he wouldn't see her.

Eljaraj raised an eyebrow, but she followed, since she wasn't in the mood to talk to Kenobi as well.
