Estelle continued through the glade, her soft steps could only be detected by sharp ears. She suddenly felt as if another presence lurked within the woods. Tensing slightly, her hand instinctively went to the hilt of her sword as she knew that any chance of flight will only make her an easier target. With wary steps she continued forward, her eyes darting among the trees in the hopes to catch any sight of the stranger.

(that's good Azura)
Grageon lowered his hammer a little bit.
"Well, the war seems to have no end in sight," he replied to the Hobbit. "Now what be your name Halfling?"

Still looking around warily, Rylin clicked out a soft command to Snowfire, moving out into the near-center of the clearing. Listening to her master, the mare moved among the trees to better conceal her pure white coat. Fingers tensing on the bowstring, Rylin then let fly an arrow mistakenly..and it stuck quivering in a nearby tree, arrow tip all but buried in the tree trunk. What a way to give away your presence.

Still cautious but with a little more reassurance, Drogo respectfully introduced himself, "I'm Drogo, and you would be?"

"A am Grageon Dagarkin," replied Grageon. He suddenly got the feeling of being watched. Another Hobbit he didn't know of maybe? An ambush? He'd wait and see...

Azuras hand tightened around the hilt of her scimitar, as yet another voice joined in. This time, a hobbit. Azura frowned again, a dwarf and a hobbit together in the neutral lands?? Strange. She took another step forwards, and instantly regretted it, there was a loud snapping noise as Azuras boot crunched down on an old twig. "Uh oh...." She murmered.

Grageon turned abrutly at the sound of a twig snapping, expecting another Hobbit to come running at him. The dwarf was supprised to find himself looking at a human. Grageon stepped back a few steps, confused. Had the humans and hobbits joined together in an unknown truce?
Grageon grumbled under his breath, and highered his hammer.
"What in Torson's name is going on?"

Tasniom looked at the second river that he had came across in his journey to the Neutral Lands. He took a rest and looked back at the events that had unfolded earlier. He had came to the border between the Lezmar and nymphs and allowed Garans to fly towards the nymphs with a message for safe passage across their lands to the Neutral Lands. To his surprise, they agreed, provided that he didn't hurt anyone or anything in his journey and that he made his journey in one day. After reassuring his guard that he would come back safely, he began his venture into Althyaria. At first, he thought it was relatively easy but the muddy wetlands weren't exactly what he had in mind. Fording the first river was difficult, largely to the fact that there weren't any bridges.
He tugged on the reins of his scorpion as he desperately tried to ford the second river. He eyed the forests across the river and contemplated asking the nymphs there for help but he dismissed that thought. He simply tried to get his scorpion to cross the river. Finally, with much coaxing, he managed to get her across. Meanwhile Garans was watching from a tree she had found. Tasniom sighed in relief as he got up on his scorpion and rode towards the Neutral Lands.

Estelle turned sharply at the sound of a whistling arrow just in time to see the weapon embedded into a tree. Forgetting all caution, she walked up to the arrow and could tell immediately that it was of elven craft. "I know you are there." she called out impulsively, forgetting that she had already given away her position. Glancing around the woods, her hand drifted to the hilt of her sword, wondering if she would have need of it. You fool. she chided herself, knowing that in the woods the elf would have the advantage. At the moment she bore no ill-will to the elves, but she could only wonder if the one lurking in the woods would feel the same.

"I know you are there."
Yes, you do..but you can't see me. Lowering his bow and slinging it across his shoulders, Rylin moved between several trees at a rapid pace, moving to retrieve his spear. Once it was in hand, he was then bold enough to step into clear view..only to find he faced an angel. For a moment, he looked undecided..then hefted his spear anyway into a guarding position, haft held with both hands.

Estelle kept her hand on the hilt of the sword, impressed but not at all surprised by the speed of her opponent. "I have no quarrel with you, lord." she remarked, her voice ringing with sincerity. "But if you think of me as an enemy then it is best we settle our score now." she added tensely, ready to draw if need be.

Aramel Elyanwe wrote: Turwaithiel Swann wrote: Aleya watched the hawk closely and heard it call out to her. She knew it wanted her to follow it, but would she be safe? Aleya decided that she could take one single risk, and she turned her body and went against the wind, following the hawk. Goldfeather landed on Nikoli's arm, the young man slumped up against a tree. He saw the red-tailed falcon heading towards him and squinted in the dim sunlight. This appeared to be no ordinary hawk, but a shapeshifter...
((Elenthari-yes, they can travel during the day))
Aleya cursed as she noticed where the hawk had landed and she knew she had been discovered. Nothing to do now but to see if she could hold her own ground and if her skills really lived up to her expectations. As she flew towards the ground, right before she hit it with her talcons, a gust of wind came and she shifted back into her human form, her eyes shining an bright silver and she quickly pulled out her sword, and got into postition to fight Nikoli. "You best not want to cause harm to me, stranger." She said simply, her voice gentle yet stern.

The Vampires moved carefully through the woods. They were heading to the place they saw the Dwarf's group.
"Wait!" said Erica "I hear voices! Climb up that tree." The Vampires swiftly climbed up the tree. Erica looked down to the glade where the Dwarfs had made their camp.
“Well, well, well. What do we have here? A Dwarf, a Human and… a Hobbit. I haven’t seen Halflings for a very long time. But what is going on here? We'll surround them. Jason,Krista, try to reach the opposite site of the glade without to be seen. Ariana and Nigel, you'll stay with me.”
The Vampires obeyed the orders. Erica grew quiet between the brunches, waiting to hear the plans of the enemy.

Azura cursed, never before had she given away her position so badly. Still cursing herself, she stepped out into the clearing, one hand resting assureingly (sp?) around the hilt of her scimitar.

Grageon opened his mouth, then closed it again, appalled. A human? First a hobbit, then a human. What next? Vampires? Grageon shook his head, his beard wagging.
"What business does a lone human have to disterb a dwarf. Unless it be a trap and you are not along! Speak and I may let you keep your head in one piece," the dwarf spoke in his gruff voice, slamming his hammer on the ground in rage and to daunt the human, then raising it again...
