MB giggled with amusement as Ellie raised the pinata. But when she realized Ms. Umbridge had started to get bigger, she became a bit alarmed.
All of a sudden, FF ran up the ladder to adjust the crooked pinata as MB was coming down.
"ACK! Ha ha ha ha! It's a bit crowded up here, don't you think?" laughed MB nervously. "We should get down before Expanding Umbridge gets the best of us...and this ladder."
Once down, MB turned to Meldawen and with an evil smile said, "So will I."

Inwe walked around to where the others were standing near the edge of the room. She fingered her violet gown thoughtlessly as she watched the comotion in the middle of the room with the inflating pinata. She smiled to herself and looked curiously around pushing some of her black curly hair behind one, slightly-pointed, ear.
((Sorry guys! I'll try to keep up this time! lol!))

JF had gone off for a wander, searching for any skeletons in the cupboards, and when she went back to the ballroom, she was surprised to see how many people had arrived.

Autumn walked in slowly, surveying the room to see who had arrived. She felt a little embarassed, because though many people had dressed in costumes, it didn't seem like many people had changed their name as she had. Still, the Halloween spirit quickly rushed into her and soon she was bouncing around the room giddily, enjoying the party.
"Hi JF! Er-the Grim Reaper..." She said with a laugh. "You costume is inredible! Did you make that yourself?"

"Howdy Rin" said JF. "Ah, I know what you mean about the name changing, but at least yours is more sensible than mine, after all" she added with a laugh "some people are called Autumn... how many are called the Grim Reaper?!".
"Thank you, yes I did make it myself. Whipped it up quite quickly" JF said with a smile.
JF turned as she heard Inwe, and replied "I am fine thank you, the fires are warm and the punch is good, so I am a happy reaper".

"Just a little more," Kit said through her teeth, trying to push it up to the hook and keeping steady on the ladder. "A little more. Ah, there it goes! Thanks Montana! Thanks you other people, and those who -sat- and -stared-." Kit went around and eyed everyone.
A bell sounded through the ballroom, piercing the haunting background party music. "Oh, hey! Dinner must be ready!!"

Larael glided into the ballroom fashionably late as usual, and found herself in throng of costumed people. "Hullo everyone!" she called brightly over the head of a rather frightening Grim Reaper. "What a good turn out," she remarked just as more people appeared in the room.

Inwe grinned at her friend and vanished momentarily. When she reappeared a few moments later walking in the throng as if she'd never left, the only diffrence was her dress was white and her face was covered with a masquerade mask. "Much better!"
