Tasniom, after finally making out of Althyaria, arrived at a rather large oak tree where he allowed himself a rest. He released Garans to scout out the lands ahead. He personally had no idea why he was lured to this place. Garans had told him something was amidst here. Something like a gathering. He took out his crossbow and loaded, not entirely sure what to expect. Moments later, Garans returned and took her position at his hand. She told her about the meeting of different races. Well this was certainly something new, Tasniom thought as he got up. He went off towards the direction Garans had said she located the meeting.

A moment of apprehension followed, then Rylin slowly lowered his spear, holding it upright and resting on the ground. 'Lord'? Mental tone mocking, the elf pushed that out of his mind and turned to the issue remaining at hand.

"I do not think of you as an enemy." he began, pausing for emphasis. "But one can never be too careful. As it is..we have no issue."

Estelle nodded. "And that is what I hope shall remain. But you are correct. As it stands now, my kin too have grown wary of strangers when they might have offered friendship before." She paused a brief moment before continuing. She knew that the elves were known for their wisdom and that their memory was long. "I had hoped to find answers here." she began slowly. "Answers that may explain this need for bloodshed..."

Answers..always, that was the thread that bound many together, regardless of race or other barriers. And answers were always hard to come by.

"You search for answers, while I search for truth. Perhaps our meeting is not an accident." Meaning more than just conveyed in his words, Rylin turned slightly and whistled shrilly, stepping towards Snowfire as she trotted out of the thicker trees, nickering softly. Taking the reins with one hand, Rylin then resecured his weapon to its broken-down form and slipped it into a saddlebag, turning back towards the angel..whose name he still did not know. So much for manners.

"My apologies for my distraction. I am known as Rylin..might I ask your name?"

"Forgive me, the omission was mine. I am called Estelle." she replied with a slight smile. Just then Thalion flew into the clearing, sending a telepathic message to his mistress. Estelle then turned her attention back to Rylin. "You may be right about destiny." she said softly. "My friend tells me that we are not alone. A party consisting of a dwarf, a hobbit and a human are also present. He also mentioned that several vampires are in the area as well as a Lezmar. Looks like a gathering is about to occur.”

Expression twisting to something resembling annoyance, Rylin wrapped the reins around his hand, looking back towards Estelle. "A gathering..just wonderful." Natural distrust of other races was already kicking in, but the elf seemed to know he would be involved in this despite any reservations.

"Do you know how near this group is?" he asked absently, tone now bordering neutrality.

Estelle looked back at the phoenix who sent his reply. "He said the party of three is further along this path in the clearing not far from here. However, he believes that the vampires are hovering above them, no doubt here for information and it remains to be seen how long they shall remain in the area. He also says that the Lezmar may come to investigate the group as well. Whether we like it or not, something is about to happen." she said softly.

Erica and the other Vampires were still waiting in the trees. Erica was becoming impatient.
Why they are still talking? It seems that they aren’t allies! I knew it that the other races are weak! She looked down again to see what will happen and to think out a strategy how to surround the enemies. The glade was in the center of a ring of trees.

“We must capture them!” whispered Erica “Ariana, go and warn the Jason and Krista. We’ll use the trees as a cover- I want one Vampire on each side of the glade. When I give a sign together we’ll jump down and catch them. Now hurry. I’ll be waiting here. Jason-you know what to do.”

The other vampires quietly hopped on the other trees. Erica watch the Dwarf, the Hobbit and the Human. I never though it will be so easy to catch them
After few moments the ambush was ready. Erica looked at the others and nodded. Pulling out her sword she jumped down just behind the human:
“Would you mind if I ask a question: Who are you and what are you doing here?”

“Hunting? Hahahaha” Erica laughed evil. Then looked straight into Azura’s eyes “I don’t believe you! We, the Vampires, can’t be so easily fooled. When I ask you again think out better explanation...”
Then Erica walked away from Azura and turned to the Dwarf.
“Hmmm… I know you, Dwarf” said she. “You and your friends were ambushed by the Elves, right? On that secret path? It’s a miracle that you could reach the Nuetral lands! But the miracles don’t last long, do they?” Then Erica looked at the Halfling. “And what do we have here: a Hobbit. I haven’t seen many of you, short one. And what is the reason, a Halfling to leave it warm hole and to risk his life out here, in this so dangerous word? Did used all of your stockpile?” asked she with taunt in her voice.

Erica turned around and sat on the nearest stone. She surveyed her captives and said:
“Now? Who is going to start talking?”
