Nurr gave a start as Starbuck glided through the people, and barely repressed a shudder. Dead people...well, let's just say they weren't her favorite thing to be around.
"And even if you never saw the person, do you know how you died? It might help us, like if the person didn't have to be in the room at the time..." Nurr tapped her chin thoughtfully, for once glad of English class. And Then There Were None might end up coming in handy.

She followed the others - after taking another handfull of candycorn - and munched as they all examined the body. For once she was glad of her short stature. Aliana simply did not do dead bodies.
"The pinata did it? Maybe the house is possessed. Didn't someone say something about changing doorsigns?"

Kit pondered, "If the house is cursed, wouldn't we have had deaths before this? The workers and the other hosts have been here for 5 days now, and it's only started when the guests arrived! The murderers have to be one of you guys!"

Will shook her head in disbelief. "No.. noone of AU would ever be a killer.." she said without hesitation. "There has to be someone else.." but her voice trailed away since she couldn't come up with any arguments who that "someone else" might be then.
She turned to Starbuck. "A lady in pink...? You're sure that wouldn't be the pinata then..?"

She shrugged, looking at the ceiling curiously. "Maybe the house didn't like the dead people? Or it's a cursed pinata...and a cursed doormat..."
One of us? How intriguing. "I don't like dead bodies. They're all dead and icky. Not for me."

"Starbuck!" said Ælfthryth gleefully, prodding the newly ghosted girl on the arm. "I can actually feel you!" She glanced at Starbuck's noise and tutted. "You shouldn't have looked up when that pinata fell, dear... your nose looks outrageous." She chuckled and flew around the chandelier, wondering if the person who slaughtered her was also Starbuck's killer.

Starbuck shrugged. "All I know is who - or what - fell on me." She frowned at the cheerfully swinging, if somewhat dented, pinata overhead. "Whoever did it must be at their rope's end," she punned, grinning, and then became serious. "I'd suggest a DNA test on the rope and pinata. It might not get you anywhere - but then again, it might." Kara jumped tracks yet again. "So... if Ælfthryth can feel me, and I her, could we, say, kill each other? And what would happen then? Would we be the ghosts of ghosts?"
