Kit stood alone in the Library when everyone else had gone off to bed. It was quiet except for the creaking of the hard wind outside the library window and she figured that no one would be <i>really</i> be sleeping tonight, probably anxious about the murders.... But it was worth a try, so Kit head off to bed in the worker's dormitories.

((Sorry for my disappearance guys...I REALLY had to write a paper that's due Friday. Sorry I didn't make an exit ))

MB awoke in the ballroom, after having found a corner to sit down. I must've passed out she thought to herself. The room was dark and very eery. That's the last time I'm drinking before noon or with waffles! she thought.

She looked around not seeing a soul. Nor a ghost for that matter. Everyone must've gone to get some rest. She on the other hand was quite awake at that point, and decided to examine the crime scenes and make some notes. She spent some time examining both and made many, many notes. She yawned and figured she might as well get somewhere cozy, and relatively safe for the night. She headed back up to her room. She turned on all the lights and locked the door. She went around making damn sure no one was in the room with her...or could get in the room. After securing her room, she plopped down on her bed and set out to work on a theory that had, after examining the evidence, struck her. She wasn't sure, and she knew she'd need to consult with everyone else, but she the wheels in her mind were spinning away furiously.

Seeing that everyone had appeared to have gone to bed, Mrs. Haldir shrugged her shoulders. "I suppose I shall had off to bed myself then. Though, I do not think I will get much sleep," she said then turned and retired to her room for the night.

Will woke up in the libary on a huge pile of old books. She found that the libary was abandoned and shivered while scolding at herself for doing such a stupid thing. She took a piece of paper and wrote down two words: Carrot and Colorfull. That was it.. according to her the clues. Will sat there, silently waiting on the others, while thinking of the connection of the carrot with a colorfull apearance of something/ someone.

Ali figured she hadn't quite made it to her room, as she was again sleeping beneath the dining room table. Easy access to candy not yanked from her own stash, she concluded after another aggrivating bump to the head. All these murders and you'd think she'd have been locked away in a room somewhere. You'd be wrong. Ali stayed under the table munching on candy corn and staring at the floor beneath her. Two deaths, colorful, carrot, ghosties. Atleast they had an M.O. - the killer seemed to go for the head.

A psycho for brain damage? A maniac with some insane grudge against pretty noses? There was a long list of possibilities that simply had to be narrowed down. "I would be bait." The candy, though! I'd miss the candy... "Greater good, right? Maybe there's a way to make ghost candy..."

(Oh wow... 27 pages already! Sorry I've been nonexistant, but school is really long and Then I'm too tired to get to the compy. I'll be on more in the weekend...)

Kiri, having recovered from her terror attack, wandered to the library, one of her more favorite places. Looking around, she didn't see anyone so she picked up a nearby book, "Nancy Drew Ghost Stories" and began too read.

She was soon disturbed by a bumping noise behind one of the book shelves and went to investagate. (somebody be making the noise please.)

School ate my life. *sigh*

(NOTE: for those of you worried about keeping up, Kit is editing the first post with pertinent info -who's dead, time, etc)

The bumping noise was a product of Starbuck, who, though immaterial, still managed to interact with physical substances, which explained why she could stand without falling through the floor, and indeed make noise. She was amusing herself by changing out the fiction/fantasy-themed pictures in the library for the toiletry -focused bathroom adornments. After all, she didn't deal with boredome too well.

Ali groaned pathetically and dragged herself up from beneath the tablecloth, crawling headfirst into a chair. She stood up after innumerably curses targetted at the chair and its family, smoothing down the blue and yellow dress she'd changed into, much more comfortable than her poofy black one. Her face was re-painted with feathers to match, her hair was pinned, and she was ready for some killer-hunting.

"Anyone else awake yet?" she called out, yawning dramatically at the end of her sentence. Taking the opportune moment of alone-time, Ali stuffed a few bowls worth of candy into her bottomless bag, saving it for later.

FF yawned and stumbled into breakfast. She rubbed her eyes to see who else was awake.
"Did everyone make it alright through the night?"

"Maybe they're sleeping in," she replied, trying to sound confident rather than worried. "If they tried to stay up in fear of being murdered, it's likely they finally fell asleep and are now making up for the lost time. Hopefully nobody's sleeping eternally though!" She grabbed a bagel and started chewing on it quickly, even though she didn't particularly care for them.

Will stumbled to the dining room. "Morning.." she muttered. "I haven't been killed as you all see." she commented while taking some toast. "I fell asleep in the libary." She showed the others her piece of paper with the words "Carrot" and "Colourfull". "This is it.." she explained "if we find the correct link we've got the answer."
