"All right. We'll get it open somehow." Kit said, and she brought over the ladder. Climbing it she called, "Could someone help me get it down?" She unhooked it trying not to fall and held it out for the nearest person willing to help.

Holding her breath, she dropped it. It felt like hours until the large pink object collided with the floor of the Ballroom and it smashed open, candy flying all around it.

Though expecting it, Tar jumped at the noise of the impact. She looked around, sure people were going to come running to the source of the noise, but no one did. That was strange. And slightly worrying.
"Okay that's done. Now remind me; why are we shattering open the pinata? And the more pressing question, can I eat this gumball?"
