Huzzah for another successful Screencapture Contest round.

I'm pretty sure everyone knows the drill. ;)

Important Notice: Our next SC round will be in celebration of a 2-year anniversary (back in September!) of the Screencapture Contest. To pertain to LotR, which character would you like the theme to be? Please take the poll for the theme...

All right----because I only have one vote, if the voting comes in at this pace, it'll just be difficult to manage with such a tight schedule.

I'll have votes posted in this thread (Gil, I still have your vote).

Comments can be posted, but note that I will edit posts after recording votes.

Cool! I couldn't quite remember.

Nurrantiel Mashiara--I love the double exposure effect you have here! Really neat and very different. It's something you don't see a lot. Your coloring is also interesting.
Meldawen--I love the coloring on this one! Really beautiful. Great use of texture as well.
Aliana Dawne--Beautiful coloring on this! And good job with the blending. I like the two Lyras. Very nice!
bow and arrow--I like the way the text works in this image. It's there, but it doesn't grab attention away from Lyra. I also like the saturated effect.
Taurquende--Yay for my fellow Mrs. Coulter entry! As with Aliana's entry, I like the two Marisas. And I LOVE the way they're different sides of her, literally. Great use of texture as well.

YAY!

Since I still don't have a vote after a day, I'm opening it up to everyone including contestants.

Melda:: I love the colors you have on yours! I also like the close up of the compass.
Aliana:: The doubled effect is really interesting! And the color is very nice and golden. :D
Bow and arrow:: Very simple, but pretty! The contrast is really nice.
Firiel:: I like the texture you used, and the font looks really good!
Taur:: Again, the double! I like it, and the lines and text really add a lot.

Nurrantiel Mashiara - I LOVE the color on this one. It's so pretty and turquoise-y, and the design at the bottom is really neat.

bow and arrow - simple but nice.

Firiel - again, pretty gold color! The border adds a nice touch.

Taurquende - the gold color is really pretty, and eye-catching. It works well with the pic.

(I voted for Frodo. :) )

Would comment, but in a hurry--sorry! Everyone's entry was beautiful and it was difficult to choose...I nearly resorted to eeny-meeny-minie-moe. (But not quite.) :P

Nurrantiel Mashiara - I love the way you have used the image. It's a really neat effect and it looks wonderful. The colours, brushes and the text work so well.

Meldawen - I like the pictures you have used and the simplcity of the design. I like the way you have used a picture of the compass, prominently.

Aliana Dawne - I like the way you have used the one image and the way you have blended it together. I also like the fact you can't read all the text as it makes it mysterious almost.

bow and arrow - I love the way you have used this one image. The text just matches it perfectly and just finishes the whole thing off.

Firiel - Like the fact you have been different from the others and gone for a different character. I like the faded/scratchy effect and the way the whole design glows.

Taurquende - I like how you have used the one image, and yet made it interesting. The blending is well done, and I like the golden colours. I also like the way you have positioned the text and the little brush you have used.

Thank you for voting!
