"I don't know about that" Thera nervously played with the pencil that was behind her ear. "I sence no fear coming from them. Only hatred and cruelness. There is fear, but only from others around them." Taking a bite of her sandwich, Thera told herself not to seem scared, but inside she was petrafied by the thought of these... things. being able to read emotions and feelings can haunt you she wryly thought.

School ate my life. *sigh*

Darrien recalled the shadow. "Rash ... perhaps. Yet I enjoy tyhe challenge of listning to what they have to say about us." He tucked the ball into a pocket for later. "I find that a well controlled shadow works nicely." The lunch period was almost over and Darrien striaghtened from his lounged position against the pillar. "Time to go ..." He said softly before walking off to find Samara.

Ed, too, was listening to their conversation and laughed. "Scared," he repeated. "What an idiot." He unconsciously drew a chair that an angel (Lilian) was sitting on. As soon as he finished, he made the connection between the two worlds. But just then, the bell for lunch to begin rang. Ed severed the connection and went to his next class.

Samaras concentration was interupted by the ringing of the bell to signify lunch was over, and for the students to make there way to there next class. She looked down at the herd of humans piling there way back into the building.
"Pitiful" she muttered to herself, standing up and stretching her arms outward.

She sneered and sat back down, choosing to ignore the daily ritual of pretending to be human. Crossing her legs, she unfolded her large red wings and smiled to herself.

Jake stood up when the bell rang and grabbed a hold of his books and began to walk towards his next class.

The bell made Carissa sneer, its sound an annoyance to the bliss of every day. She had a spare after lunch, so she settled herself in one of the cheap plastic chairs strewn about the cafeteria. She rested her feet on the table's top. She reclined gracefully, her eyes darting to the other few students left in the cafeteria.

((Samara is outside, on the roof of the school))

As the bell rang, Lilian took her bag and stood up. She joined Jake, who was already walking out of the cafeteria. "don't we have literature together now?" she asked to him, checking her time table.

Darrien Shifted quickly to the form of a black hawk and landed behind Samara shifting back to his human form. "A pity they are so easily decieved, however toying wit them is rather amusing."

"I don't know," Jake casually responded while glancing down at his schedule, "Do you have... Ms. Brinson?"

"Toying with them is just so much fun."

"We should go ... at least to keep up appearences, It's too early to reveal ourselves just yet." Darrien said stepping up onto the ledge where Samara sat watching the last of the humans disapear into the building.
