lol well let me see....

We have about 40-45 cats

4 dogs

WAY to manny chickens lol

4 horses

Lots of cows

a couple geese

15 or so Rabbits

And on my mom raises fish and sells them in her store

And my grandmother has canneries.

*thinks* I think that's about it....

Never seen Across the universe, what is it about?

Ok. My guitar teacher showed me this guy called Tommy Emmanuel.

If you have never heard of him he is a guitar player... Like the BEST EVER. lol no Joke check him out.

Some times he plays rythm, base, and lead ALL AT THE SAME TIME! lol he can also make the guitar sound like a banjo or a harp. And he does a drum solo on his guitar body. And the stuff he is doing is some times near impossible on an electric and he does it n an acustic which is A TON harder. lol

He can also play 3 songs at once on the guitar.... *sighs and shakes head*

Check it out at

 I'm done!!! Finals are over!!!

Wow- that's awsome, Jax. I'm so jealous that you have four horses- I've always wanted to be able to have one!!

Across the Universe... hmm... well, its a movie that is made from all Beatles songs, and it takes place in the 60s. As Pip said, its very artsy and kind of... odd (?) at times. But in a good way. I don't know- Pip could probably explain it better.

I completely agree with you though, Pip- I definately laughed and cried too!! Like during the part right before they play "Across the Universe"... I LOVED the parts with "Hey Jude", "All You Need Is Love", and "I've Just Seen a Face." And a ton of others- those are just my top three as of right now. :P

I'll have to look for it on facebook!! I want to see!! :-D

And I'll definately look him up, Jax. He sounds amazing!!

i'll check him out as well, jax!

lol arwen basically explained it....it's about the beatles and....well, let's just face it. the beatles were high a lot of the time. i mean, I Am the Walrus and Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite.... they were def. high. so there are one or two parts that r just....weird. but in an artsy weird good kinda way, like arwen said.....it's kinda "hippie" like, i spose you could say. a lot of ppl dont like it, but it's b/c they dont understand it. if you truly understand music, art, and the beatles themselves, than you'll love it.

omg, yes, i loved those three parts, too.....oooh and i LOOOOOVE when Jude and Max first meet!!! and can i just say that their friendship is AMAZING!?!?! i LOVE their friendship! lol but anyways, when he's like
"Where's that accent from?"
"Same place I am. Liverpool."
"Do you have a name?"
"Yup." (pause. smile) "It's Jude."
I just love that little exchange. and i love during Hey Jude when Max is like "Jud-eh,Jud-eh,Jud-eh,Jud-eh,Jud-eh,Jud-eh,Jud-eh!!!!" & then he like picks him up and hugs him. hahaha. i laughed so hard.

oh and when they're eating @ thanksgiving towards the beginning and they're yellin at max for dropping out of college and stuff and then in the middle the grandma's like "These cranberries aren't as tangy as they were last year." omg, sooo funny. lol

ack, the list goes on. but i'm sure i'm boring you, so i'll stop now. but that movie was amazing!!! :-D

Yes, definately high. Agreed with "I Am the Walrus" and "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite." And not so much, but "Happiness Is A Warm Gun" is also questionable. :P

I love that part!!! And that's so funny that you should mention the "Hey Jud-eh, Jud-eh" part- I was just about to!! I laughed for a solid fivev minutes after that. I love Max.

And the part with "I Want You" was really good. (In a creepy sort of way.) The part with "Strawberry Fields Forever" gave me chills- I think that was my favorite part, but its a really hard choice.

Other lines: "My God, you have perfect teeth." (Jude to Lucy) And when Prudence says, "This is ___ (can't remember the name). She's a contortionist." That made me laugh too. There were tons of others... I just can't remember right now.

And no- I love having someone who appreciated the movie as much as I did!!!

"I'm sorry I'm not the man with the mega-phone, but this is what I do."-Jude

Well Jude, as a stranger to our shores, the least I can do is offer you some Ivy League hospitatilty. *tosses flask*

"Yeah, I think so. Why?"
"There's no mirror in your bathroom."

Oh, Jax- you really have to. The Beatles really are the best band of all time.

I LOVE all of the quotes you put. They made me smile. :) I really need to see it one more time before it leaves theaters. You clearly remember a lot more quotes than I do!! :P

What else is new? I just got back from riding... its starting to get really cold here!! I don't like it. We've been really lucky up until now, but now its in the 30s and 40s.

lol well, I pretty much only listen to christian music anyway. Try to keep a pretty srict filter on all media etc...

Nothing new here really. Although it is starting to get colder here as well, which stinks. I would rather it be hot than cold. *shrugs*

Other than that there was something I as thinking about today that kind of was impressed upon me so I thought I might share it with you guys.

I was thinking about in the bible where it says in Mathew 25 (the whole chapter is really good you should read it)

But it's talking about God seperating the goats from the sheep but it symbolizes dividing those who go to heaven and those who go to hell.

It says...

41"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'

44"They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'

And then I was thinking about where it says (forget referance) that narrow is the gate to life, but broad is the path that leads to destruction. So in other words few get to heaven and many fall away.

Then I was thinking about just what got you to heaven and I remember the verse in Mathew 7 that says

21"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' 23Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

I was just thinking about how even though these people prophecied, drove out demons, and preformed miracles in His name... even though they did all that He said "I never knew you."

And it says only those who do the will of my father may enter thekingdom of heaven.....

Really mad me stop and think about just what God's will is for my life and what things I need to change. So I just thought I would share that withyou guys. :) See ya *waves*

aw that's sad. well, have fun! i'll keep you in my prayers for a safe trip. Happy Thanksgiving to both of you, as well!!! :)

nm new here.....obsessed with my music, as usual....it's getting worse. lol but hey, there are worse things to be obsessed with, right? i look at it this way: drugs or music. Music is my drug. So therefore, I dont need drugs. Because i have music. enough said.

Hey- I'm back!! :)

The trip was good... pretty uneventful. How were your thanksgivings?

Good to hear, Pip. :) And I'll be looking forward to it.

Music is a very good thing to be addicted to. I LOVE music, but I think I'd say my addiction is books. :P

WB.

Yeah music is better than drugs. But some music is pretty bad as well.... I hyonestly never knew how bad but I have been hearing that some artists that are out there actually have devil worship stuff in their songs and all kinds of stuff like that. *shakes head* it's just sad.

Music is suposed to glorify God not the Devil.

Very true. But if you're careful you never really have a problem with that. A lot of the bad stuff is in rap songs, which I really do not like. I can't stand listening to rap.

Good to hear, Pip!! I did the same. :P

Also true. If a person is trying to worship the devil, they must be misguided and confused in some way... I would hope that you could talk them through it to find a better solution and lead them down the right path. And I think music could definately help that. I think that music could be used to cure a lot of things, really.

Also... can you guys keep a friend of mine in your prayers? She's just going through a confusing time right now... I'd appreciate it. :)
