Claire stood up and reached the pregnant woman "we don't know" she said. "how are you feeling?" she added.

"I'm claire" she answered. "I think that if I help you you'll be able to come near the fire with us...I think it's better..." she added. "ehi charlie, would you come and help me with amanda?"

Charlie looked over to Claire and Amanda and stood up. "Of course" he said, carefully helping Amanda up, supporting her as they slowly walked over to the fire. He helped her sitting down again and wrapped the blanket around her again.

Amanda stared into the fire, lost in her thoughts. She put out the photo she had kept in her pocket the whole time and looked into her boyfriends' face, wiping tears off her face. "Adam" she whispered. "I promise, I wouldn't disappoint you. I'll manage this. For you, our baby and the dreams we've had. I promise."

Charlie came over to the fire again together with Claire. "Are you alright, Amanda?" Amanda looked up and nodded. "I am. Really, I am."

Claire sat next to amanda "if you need anything, just ask, ok?" she said. "what do you think that noise was?" she asked then to charlie.

Trista looked at the three people. They were nice, but she could help but think of the man with the blue eyes. He was so irritating, yet they kept meeting. Irrited at the fact that he was some how mad and rude to her, she looked towards the guy and his fire. She wasn't suprised when she saw him awake.

Amanda looked up. "Thank you, Claire" she said, watching the fire burning down the wood. After a time, she slept away again, accidentely falling against Claires' shoulder, leaning on her as she was sleeping, her hand still tightly around the photo.

Charlie shook his head. "I've no idea" he said. "Maybe...an animal or something?" he added with great doubt in his voice, knowing that no animal could have managed this.

Sawyer slowly let go of his bag when the thing -whatever it was- seemed to have left. All around him he heard people ask in panic, or at least in wonder, what could have caused that noise. "Didn't you hear?" he called over to the group at the fire, where the doctor had sat down again. "Jurrasic Park has been unleashed on this island!"

Jack rolled his eyes at the guy's asnwer but didn't answer. "I don't know what it was.." he said "But we should keep our fires burning. Perhaps it won't come back then." Jack yawned, only now he noticed how tired he was. "I'm going to take some rest." he told the others. "If there's something wrong.. just wake me okay?" He looked at Claire and Amande and then he made himself comfortable in the sand, took his blanket and fell in a deep sleep.

Claire nodded at Charlie, then put an arm around Amanda's shoulders, while she was falling asleep on her shoulder. a blonde man came to their fire and said something about the noise, and jack answered, but claire barely heard it. she fell asleep after a few minutes.

Claire was woken up by the soind of some voices near to her. she slowly raised her head and opened her eyes, trying to realize where she was. then she remembered. the plane. the island. it was morning.

Amanda slowly woke up. She realized she was lying in the sand, close to another woman. She opened her eyes and lifted herself up. She hadn't have much sleep that night, everything in her mind was messed up, all she could think about was Adam, his death, the crash of the plane...her baby... Suddenly, she noticed something. Her pockets were empty! It was gone! "Where is it?" she cried, almost in panic. "Where's my photo? Where's my photo?"

"Where is it?" she cried, almost in panic. "Where's my photo? Where's my photo?" said amanda, that was sitting next to her. "what happened?" claire asked, still confused "what photo?"

Jack woke up by the screams of Amanda. Quickly he rushed over to her. "Are you alright?" he asked. When he heard it was all about a photo he sighed, kind of relieved and said: "It must be here somewhere.. just have a carefull look."

"Hey, knock it off..!" Sawyer yelled as he walked by. "Hell.. you're hysteric, do you know that?" He dropped the photo in the sand before Amanda's feet. "Guess what? Found it in the sand.. You should take better care of your properties miss." He walked off, muttering something about people always yelling and screaming about nothing.

Claire took the photo from Sawyer's hand "leave her alone" she said to him, giving the photo back to amanda. "here it is, amanda, it's ok" she said.

Amanda looked up to Claire, then she smiled at her. "Th...thank you..." she stuttered. "I wouldn't know what I would have done without it. She closed her eyes and pressed the photo tightly against her chest. She saw Claire looking down at her. "I'm okay..." she said. "Now...everything is alright again..."

"Hysteric.." Sawyer repeated again. "Total looney.." And he pretended not to hear Claire's comment.

Jack looked up at Sawyer, puzzled. "You should stop taking other person's properties. They might not.. like it." He smiled at Sawyer, as if apologising for his words but he was sure that this man got the message.

"Is that a threat Cowboy?" Sawyer hissed. "Because I tell you.. no one threatens Sawyer..without regretting it." and with these words he stormed off.
