Tamie smiled. "I don't mind at all!" She finished up her lunch and threw her trash away just as the bell rang. "I better get to class. See you both later."

David sat at the table with lanie for a moment. David's next class was the only class he didnt have with tamie. study hall.
David looked at Lanie. " you better get to class too." he said sternly.
Lanie rolled her eyes. " it's only P.E." she said. " i skip it all the time."
David growled. "Lanie.. get to class now!" he said.
" alright alright.. i'll go..." she got up and walked to her locker to get her gym bag. she would be late to class. everyone was out of the hall way and in their classes.
Lanie got her bag and started to walk away. but she stopped upon hearing something that caught her attention. she walked twards the other hall and gasped.
there was a guy and a girl with a now bloody black eye. lanie through down her bag and tackled the guy. the girl shreiked and ran away. the guy through lanie off knocking the wind out of her.
Lanie tried to scream but he covered her mouth. it was then that they two people relized that they knew each other.
"well looky here, my ex..Lanie.."
Lanie was apauled. " j-josh?" she said astonished " i thought you droped out." she said nervously.
"nope" he rasied his fist and knocked her out.
David was walking down the hallway and saw this. he ran twards the guy and knocked him in the stomach. <i> thank God for football</i> he thought.
Josh got up furious. " oh so you must be her knew boyfriend..ha..well she's nothing a peice of scum if you ask me." he walked over to Lanie and kicked her in the side. David lundged at him again. " i'm somewhat of a family friend." he said slaming him against a classroom door, now alerting that classroom of what was happening.
what happend next was the two boys faught until teachers broke them up. both were pretty beat up. David and Josh had been taking care of with phsical wounds lanie had a slight concousion though. they were all sent home for the day. both david and Josh being suspended.

David didn't show up to the rest of todays classes... Tamie thought as she got off the bus. She shrugged and headed inside, "I'll ask him after practice today." She told herself as she walked upstares to shower.

"What?!" Sylan said walking over to her. "What happened ... are you hurt..." He tilted her chin up seeing the black eyes she had. "Did you get suspended?" He asked as he stood up. "Lets get some ice for that."

Tamie left her house at 5:30 just like she normally did and went to the bus stop.

Lanie sighed. " no...my back is hurt..but i'll be ok.." she said. she took the ice from him and set it on her eye. she winced a little as the cold set in. " i'll start from the begining. i was on my way to P.E. and i was late and i was getting my bag out of the locker and i heard someone being hurt so i ran that way and i saw a guy beating up a girl and so i jumped on the guys back and he threw me off knocking the wind out of me. he turned and the girl ran. he came after me it was then that i relized it was josh....." she stopped to look at her brothers face.

"That creep touched you." Sylan said his blue eyes flashing with anger, but not at Lanie.

The bus came and Tamie climbed onto it and payed the driver. There were no seats avalable. A young man stood and offered his seat. "You can sit here if you like." He said softly.

she thought for a moment. " i was so scared" she said as tears filled her eyes.

Lanie didnt let the tears fall but welcomed the hug. she pulled away after a few minuets. " thanks. i don't know what to do now..i mean he has friends there and now that David suspended. " she paused. " David got suspended becuase he saw what happend and he defended me...so both him and josh got suspended.
