Vari nodded at Carmon, but stared at her for a few more seconds before following the others off of the ship. "Well, from what Jack's said, and I'm not sure just how credible he is, he's been in Davy's Locker before." She placed a finger to her chest, "But I've never been there, so I can't tell ye for sure, mate. Then again, he could've been drunk..." Vari watched as Jack offered Elizabeth a bottle of rum and rolled her eyes.

Kayala got up, careful to not look him in the eye, turned around, and started walking,"This place does stuff like that. Makes you remember all the bad memories, and it sometimes makes you remember some of the good ones too. Over time, you'll get used to it." She smiles kindly at him,"I never got your name"

Carmon silently followed Vari and the rest, although she could feel Vari's gaze on her. "That would be Jack...." Carmon forced a smile. Although she had hardly talked to the infamous Jack Sparrow, she had heard a lot about him and she had seen some of what he was like during her short time on the Black Pearl. "but I thought the rest of the crew had been there before too?" she looked to where Vari was looking and saw the same sight of Jack being so generous with rum.

Norrington followed Kayala as she got up and started walking away, all the while he silently listened to her. He wasn't sure if he wanted to get used to the way this place worked. "oh, sorry. I'm Ad-" he stopped, "I'm James Norrington." It felt empty to say it like that, but he figured that's what it was now. His thoughts trailed off and he was lost in them for a few moments while looking at the sand all around. Then it dawned on him, "but what is this place exactly?"

Vari shook her head. "This happened just before I saw Jack again. He told me the tale of World's End and the waterfall and Will and Elizabeth, but I meself never saw any of it. I was still sailin' with Edward." Upon mentioning his name, a glassy look entered Vari's eyes.

Surprise and indignation made Elizabeth stare at him stupidly for an instant. "Save...save me?!" she yelped. "I don't need saving, thank you! I can take care of myself just fine." And I can't entirely believe this visit isn't in some way for your benefit, she added to herself. _________________

James gave Kayala a quick, small smile as she told him her name, "it's a nice name." he nodded as he listened to the rest of what she had to say, "But are you.... we... dead?" he wasn't use to asking the questions, but in this situation he felt like he had to, "That can be the only logical explanation, right? Because I came here after it happened." he didn't define "it" for Kayala and he didn't really wish to.

Carmon only silently nodded her head and uttered an "oh". She watched her friend as Edward's name was brought up. She had met him and spent much time with him on different adventures. He was a nice fellow and she could tell by the look in Vari's eyes that he meant quite a bit to her too.... but in a different way. "what has happened to Edward anyway?"
(no, that's perfectly fine, Ara!  we could have Edward and Cole meet up since they're friends and all..... and we only have Cole, James, Kayala and I'm not sure about R_T's character  in the Locker anyway.... so of course you can join!)

Alex snorted at Elizabeth's response and took another swig of her rum, but said nothing. As she played with the cork from her bottle, Alex smirked, glancing from Jack to Elizabeth.

Kayala frowned, hesitating,"Yes...yes we are." She looked away sadly.

Vari turned back towards the ocean, watching the waves gently crashing on the beach. She looked down at her ring finger, an emerald stone looking back at her. The engagement ring. “He was killed by a British soldier,” Vari replied, “when our ship was boarded by them. I saw everythin’…” Her voice trailed off as she began to remember that fateful day. The clinking of metal against metal as swords were drawn, blood staining the deck of the ship… “Edward, standin’ near the mast, had just finished off his last soldier, or so he thought. I was distracted, tryin’ to help the rest of the crew into the rowboats as the ship was set on fire. That bloody soldier that had supposedly been killed slowly rose to his feet, unsheathing’ a dagger from his side. I turned around just in time to see ’im sneak up behind Edward and…” She drew in a deep, shuddering breath. “I finished off his attacker. Edward told me to leave him and save meself before it was too late. So I did and that was the last time we were together.” Looking into Carmon’s eyes, Vari felt tears forming in her own. “I’m sorry ye have to see me like this, Carms.”

Edward Blackhaven slowly sat up from where he was laying on the sandy shore. Where was he? What was this place, and more importantly, what had happened? Standing to his feet, he rubbed the back of his head, stopping when he felt a long scar on the side of his neck. “What…?” Edward gasped, suddenly remembering what happened. He had been… killed? He pinched himself and jumped. “So this isn’t a dream,” he said under his breath.

Well what if I had him in the locker too (being dead and all ) along with Edward who he hasn’t seen since he died. (*has sudden inspiration for all PotC RPs!!!*  What is that insperation? Well, I like to call it AWE.... it has really gotten me wanting to play Norrie and Will!  )
"oh" Norrington looked away as well. "but there's no way... out?" He scanned the surrounding area, "I thought a while ago I heard water." he continued to walk aimlessly ahead. James Norrington, do ya fear death? the memory made him slightly jump, but he tried to conceal that from his companion. It was the last thing he had ever heard; along with her voice screaming out his name. Her sweet, lovely voice. But her father, the Governor Swann. He had died as well, but where did Beckett put him? Was he here too?

After hearing Vari's story, Carmon's eyes were filling with tears of their own. "it's... it's nothin' to be sorry about, Vari." she took her friend's hand and gave it a warm squeeze. "you couldn't do anything. But I'm.... I'm so sorry." Carmon couldn't think of anything else to help or comfort her friend. She thought of the pain her friend was going through, she herself had been going through the same thing too, "Vari, Cole has died too." she earnestly looked her friend in the face to see what her reaction would be.

A week or so had passed since Will had first arrived in the Locker and even though the new job was easy, the time passed very slowly. In his heart every moment went painfully by while he thought about Elizabeth and wondered what was happening to her. At the moment Will was alone in his cabin sitting in one of the new chairs and thinking. Many things were changed about the Flying Dutchman now. It had a purpose to serve again with Will now as the captain. He looked around the room and memories came flooding back to him of Davy Jones and all that had happened on this ghostly ship. The grand organ was still there, of course, but it wasn't the same, in fact the whole room had greatly changed into something a little more welcoming than when Jones had been captain, but to Will it still felt lonely and empty. Bootstrap Bill Turner presently knocked at the door and took Will out of his thoughts.
"yes?" Will opened the door and gave his father a questioning look.
"we've taken aboard more souls and now we're ready to begin ferrying them over."
Will nodded and walked up to the wheel. More souls to take care of. More poor people who had died, but where at peace at last.
The thought of Governor Swann suddenly came to Will's mind. He wondered when they would pick him up. He could hardly bear the thought and the picture of poor Elizabeth crying that came with it.
(gosh, I feel rather rusty at playing poor Will.  )

oh, and I have a question for all of you... what do you guys think of having a little of Beckett in this? After all he did die and he went to the ocean... soooo that means Will would have to ferry him too, right?
just a thought for everyone to ponder over...)
