Alex remained on deck during dinner and watched the rain as it caused little ripples in the ocean's surface. Her dark hair turned black when wet, and clung to her face, but she ignored it. She heard footsteps and glanced over at Jupiter. "I believe I still owe you a sparring match, mate," she said over the rain, still watching the ocean.

Jupiter turned around looked at Alex, she grinned. "Wonderful mate!" She stated as she stood up and withdrew her rapier. A sparring match would do her good.

Alex drew hers as well. It was a fine blade, one of her spoils from her early days as a pirate, stolen from a wealthy Spanish aristocrat. She waited for Jupiter to make the first move. She stood poised and ready for action, adrenaline already being pumped around her body.

Hawk turned from his thoughts to watch the match. Actually accepting one of Juperters chalenges would probably have shocked the entire crew. He never faught anyone unless he absolutely had to.

Will looked at his wife, and simply nodded. "Let us go talk to Jack, dear, and we will see what we can do." He knew about the storm and all the dangers they had gone through, and he knew a simple storm like this wouldn't be anything compared to that, but he didn't know what Jack would think.

Lotty followed her friend down into the reasonable shelter. It wasn't like a cozy cottage in the springtime, but it was almost all she had ever known. She wrung out her long, brown hair but as she did she came close to bumping into Hawk. She gave him a quick smile and watched as he continued on his way before she followed Claudia again. When they had gotten their rum, she joined her friend at the table. After thinking over Claudia's question for a few moments Lotty replied, "aye, I suppose I have. But I have been away from here before." she paused and thought, "a while ago. Why do you ask?" she was worried for her friend and what might happen if anyone overheard her talking like this.

Elizabeth simply gave Calliope a calm and unmoving look in return. She was hurting inside but more importantly Elizabeth really didn't get why, in a storm even like this, they were delayed. Jack's compass had lead him through worse and through that compass they could find the ship of that beast who kidnapped their children. She smiled in relief at Will as he agreed with her. She knew he would never let her down. And Jack would agree with them. She knew he would after they got done talking with him. Finally she turned away and followed Will and Calliope back into the tavern.

Katrina shivered and slowly made her way back to the door that led to where she had been kept before. Going down she saw the three people from before, not saying anythin she curled up by the cell.

Jupiter looked, examining the sword Alex was using. Fairly well made sword. She then lunged at flicking her sword to the right to hit Alex's right side.

Alex's reflexes were sharp as ever and she parried the blow with ease. She stepped back to keep an even distance between them and twirled the blade before striking Jupiter's left side. _________________ <center>
