I saw that movie like ages ago. At first there was only one movie that I wanted to see it and it was Sean Bean. And I just loved his performance. It was really refreshing to see him play another role than a villain. The way he portrayed Odysseus was just brilliant! I absolutely loved him. And then there's Eric Bana as Hector. My GOD he was fantastic! The way he wanted to protect his country and wife and son because his brother messed up big time. It was fabulous. And let's not forget Peter O'Toole. He was just great as King Priam. I loved him in that movie. Sadly enough, with Bean, Bana, and O'Toole, I kind of forgot about everyone else. Like somehow, everyone's acting went down in my eyes.

Same, Cauny. I went to see it for Sean Bean but I came out loving three other actors! This was the first film I've seen of Eric Bana so I absolutely fell in love with him. And you're right, the performances of Bean, Bana, and O'Toole completely trumped the others'!

I have to say that I loved this movie. It was so well done, and the music was brilliant. Like it, I orignally watched it for an actor (though for me it was Garrett Hedlund :swoon:, not Sean Bean...((though he did do brilliant!))), but again, like Kit, I began to fall in love with all the charactors, and the movie itself! :D

Oh the injustice! Sean Bean got the opening AND closing lines. He is THAT GOOD.

i got the director's cut for christmas. it is really cool so far, (i've only watched the first half) but there are parts there i really did not expect. unecessary *caugh* yeah. but it has some very cool added parts. i didn't know Sean bean was Oddyseus! in the extra scene it even showed his dog n stuff. it was cool.

^What new scenes were there!?!? I'm quite curious. If there's more Hector/Andromache scenes I'm quite eager to know what they are. :D:D:D:D
