Aiko strode swiftly through the halls, upon finding a group of guards lounging about she stepped in their path, her eyes flashing with anger. "Baka! [Stupid/Fool]" she cried. "Has the peace so weakened your minds?!"

"Aiko-san-" one stated, immediately snapping to attention.

"You leave our borders undefended? Have you no consideration for the life of the lord, the lady or their daughter?"

The guards lowered their eyes before her, chastised by her words. Aiko drew a deep breath to cool her raging anger. These are not shinobi. she reminded herself. Simply palace guards meant for defense in times of strife. "Go to your duties," she said again after a moment, careful to keep the anger from her voice. "Be wary, I fear an invasion is imminent."

"Hai," they replied in unison and bowed before her before attending to their post.

Aiko nodded and continued through the palace, delivering the message to the shinobi already at their posts. Satisfied that at least the group of ninjas were ready for an attack, Aiko swiftly went to her quarters. Sitting upon the floor, she closed her eyes and began to meditate, channeling her power so that she would be ready for the assault.

((Erm.. mind if I join? I'm a bit of an anime fan myself(though I don't seem it, and most don't know this), and have seen the first episode of Basilisk(though, it slightly confused me, but I do plan on watching the rest of them). Would it be possible I have two characters? A boy and a girl ninja? Not sure which clans they'd be in yet, though...))

Zutao appreard in he courtyard and made his way over to a small group of Shinobi.
"Well what did he say?"

"He might not be leading the attack, so i will instead. At least i'm definatly leading the move over the boarders. We attack at midnight."

"What?"

"Why?"

"Look i don't know but..." He flipped over in the air and landed in a handstand "Methinks a girl"

There was a chorus of laughs and one of them roughly pushed him over. "Be seriouse, Kuroda's going to miss an attack on the Iako for the sake of some girl? Come off it."

Zutao shrugged and pushed the shinobi who'd spoken off him. "Think about. Anyway, we'ed better get ready."

They spaced out and began to go though thier routine of attacking stances; thier eyes closed as they began to focus only on the positions.

Cora swallowed, she had to tell Kuroda the truth, She had found out his clan name just after they first met, but was always to scared to Tell him the truth about her clan. "My Father is . . ." She was scared, would he hate er for. "My Father is Lord Iako Umai, of the Iako clan."

((Eh, I gues my guy will be in the Koga clan... though he's a character from the actual anime, and is supposed to be on the Iako side... but, I can change that... lol!))

Age: looks 20 to me, so I'll go with that...
Sex: Male
Clan: Koga
Ability: He has this special rope called "Ebon Rope" that's sharper than a knife, and can make huge movements with it from the slightest move of his hands(finger, legs, arms). When he doesn't use it it's wrapped around his arms and/or lower legs. It's black hair from woman strewn together and dipped in a secret animal-oil passed down to him. Oh, and it's so thin you can hardly see it.
Weapons: A sword
Other: none that I know of yet... But, I might have his persionality different than from the anime... I haven't watched it enough to know how he acts other than how he fights...

Yashamaru stood with the group of Shinobi that were ready to go out on a raid. He wasn't supprised when Zutao had said what he said about the clan leader's son. He had seen him leap from his tower and fly off only minutes ago, but decided to say nothing about it.
"So, Zutao-kun, are we leaving for the raid now?" he asked, not caring for the practicing of attack stances...

(erm... it's -kun for boys and -sama or -sun for girls or something like that... isn't it? I'm not entirely sure...)

(I know kun is used for males and possibly a superior talking to an inferior-regardless of gender (not too sure on that though) San I believe is equivalent to Mr. or Ms. and used for adults or older girls (once again not a hundred percent sure). Sama on the other hand I believe is used for a superior or someone you want to show respect to)

Aiko's eyes snapped open as she completed her meditation. She could sense a disturbance as if an attack drew neigh. Without hesitating she exited her room and swiftly joined the shinobi guarding their borders.

"It's been silent thus far, Aiko-san" the shinobi told her.

Aiko nodded. "Yet, never forget the night is long. Blood shall be spilt ere the sun rises. I shall check on our other borders. I will join you again presently." she remarked before leaping up a wall and disappearing into the shadows.

He split them into groups of two groups of five, with both him and Yashamaru in the same group.
"Okay you all know the drill, we are not seen from the moment we step out this courtyard. When we've crossed the boarders we regroup and wait for the Zenith and Kuroda. If he's not there we continue the attack as planned. Everyone know what thier doing? Sate dearou sono kamigami shou hon ada "

Kuroda sighed, "I was right. You are in grave danger, Cora. My men are going to attack your home tonight, and focus on you in particular. But they cannot do that if you are not there. Are you willing to fake a kidnapping?" He looked at the sky, "We haven't much time, I must get to my men before the zenith of the moon, or who knows what they will do to me."
