my favourite Christmas Song definitely is Silent Night (or should I say Stille Nacht??). I love it how it's been translated into so many languages

In Dulce Jubilo. Singing in two languages back and forth, with such a lively, upbeat rhythm, it's lovely.
My second favorite would be Sussex Carol.

I just love "Once upon a Christmas" by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers. It's really beautiful! Does anyone by chance know it?
"A little drummerboy" is really good as well, especially when it's performed by Boney M.
And third on my list of favourites is "What Child is this?" by Enya

Oh, my, Christmas songs? You might regret asking me that question. (laughs) I really like Christmas songs...at the right time of year that is (I know people who want to play them year round though and that gets on my very last nerve...no offence meant to anyone on here who might enjoy doing that though). For religious ones I like "Silent Night", "O, Holu Night", "Joy to the World", and "Hark the Harold Angel". As for secular (spelling? ) Christmas songs I like "Baby, it's Cold Outside" by Dolly Parton and Rod Stewart, "All I Want for Christmas is You" by Vince Vance and the Valiants (I absolutely Love those two songs!), All I want for Christmas is You by Mariah Carry, and Once Upon a December (okay that last one is not really a Christmas song...but I always have to hear it at Christmas... ).
Firiel_18190, They have "Silent Night" in German?! Wow, that is way cool!

I LOVE that song . I need to find the cd I have with that on it.
Other than that the only Christmas song I really like is Carol of Bells. I LOVE that song.

"Silent Night" is originally a German song. It was composed by Franz Gruber and Josef Mohr. Later it was translated into English.
My favourite Christmas song is probably "I Heard the Bells", as that is just a very powerful song, IMHO.

Yep that's right. I was actually quite surprised when I came to NZ that they have it in English, but also in a whole lot of other languages. Both my homestay sisters from Japan and Korea knew that song, which I found quite amazing

I like Carol of the Bells! That is my favorite Christmas song ever! I especially like the version by the Trans-Siberian orchestra.
And then I also like this other one, but I'm not sure what it's called. It goes something like:
"Last Christmas I gave you my heart,
And the very next day, you gave it away"
